Pros: Hampton Inn has the most comfortable beds by far, consistent across all their hotels where I have stayed. Very clean throughout. Staff friendly and helpful. Cons: Ridiculously expensive. Cost was $70 higher per night than a much better room where I stayed the night prior, and that was a suite! This night included a AAA discount, which the other did not. No fan in the bathroom, so I had to open the bathroom door to release the humidity while I finished getting ready. The TV cabinet was poorly installed (see pictures). Door askew and microwave shelf crooked. The pros and cons evened each other out, with the high cost being the worst of it. Gave 4 stars for comfortable beds, given sleeping is the main reason for the stay.

Front desk staff was very demeaning and belittled me in front of other guests for asking for a few bottles of water to make coffee with, stating water is only for "Diamond members". I was confused and when I mentioned that I'd gotten water the previous day, I was blown off and said he wasn't supposed to have given me any. I called Hilton customer service to find out why my Hilton Honors app stated "free water" under Silver and Gold levels if it's really only for Diamond members. No one seems to have a clue what was what...not even the manager....and makes things up to tap dance around the fact that their people are rude. Highly unpleasant experience. Their "no water for peasants" stance is even more ridiculous given the fact that someone could walk into breakfast and stuff themselves silly and snipe all sorts of prepackaged snacks for later. I choose not to eat those breakfasts, but a measly bottle of water is far too much of an expense for the hotel. Really?!?! At least I was able to walk to the Winn Dixie next door to buy a gallon of water for $1.29 instead of $2.00 for a bottle from their vending machine. Side note: I usually just use tap water, but was warned by people that live in the area not to drink the JAX city water. Aside from the petty bottled water issue, the room rates are too high for what you get compared to others I've stayed at in the area. Will not stay in this location if I need to come back to the area.

The man at the front desk was amazing. Had to book a room last minute after our budget truck trailer broke down on the side of the highway. Explained my situation to him and he was beyond supportive. Helped me find a parking spot for the truck everything. Thank you for being so helpful and friendly after a very frustrating day. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was great. I would stay here again if I ever visited Jacksonville.

Standard Hampton Inn in a convenient location off of I-10. We rented a handicapped room for my elderly mom and it was clean and easy to access and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Very nice although the whole building seemed very warm and the room had central air instead of an actual controllable ac unit. We also were able to get a later check out time and there was no issue with parking our bobtail semi in the parking lot during our stay.

The check in and out ladies were super sweet, check in was quick and easy, rooms definitely could use an update. The room didnโ€™t scream โ€œIโ€™m cleanโ€, the sink in the bathroom was plugged so I had to stick my hand in and unplug it manually and there was a dead bug in the shower. Beds are not comfortable either. We probably wouldnโ€™t stay here again unless we were in a pinch.

Came here for business purposes. Did not stay but the lobby and hotel dining area were exceptionally clean and well organized.

Room is clean but very basic. No water pressure with a water saver shower head. But the real kicker is the extremely loud a/c unit that vibrated the wall and kept us awake all night, when it cut off, room became warm and muggy. Rough night. It was almost midnight when we checked in after driving 14 hours, otherwise we would have checked out and gone elsewhere. The front desk person said no one has complained about the noise before. Unbelievable. Room 332 should be out of commission until the a/c is fixed. This room, even with a decent a/c unit is way over priced. We were charged 226 w/ tax. Huge disappointment. The employees were nice, breakfast area was clean and hot breakfast was good. Update: Morning Gen. Manager set technician to fix A/C and comped the room. Thank you.

We've stayed here multiple times. It's pretty cozy for what we need. Although the beds can be hit or miss.

Very clean and neat hotel. Shout out to the cleaning staff and management. The level of hospitality was incredible. Will make this my go to place to stay while in town.

Great place to stay. Room was clean, comfortable. Good breakfast. Internet work fine. Staff we interacted with were friendly. 5 or 6 choices of places to get food and next to a grocery store.

Considering my love for Jacksonville as a whole, I must say that my stay at this hotel was one of many good reasons. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Always laughing and ready to serve. The convince breakfast was good. But my room was clean and peaceful. There were places to walk if you wanted a store or something you were in need of to purchase or eat. The location was right near the freeway so access to it was easy and not a problem. If I could have stayed longer, I would have. Great place to visit if you are passing through and need a place to stay.

Did not go here. Pulled in parking lot to turn around. They probably deserve more Stars, but I just don't know.

Best hotel I've stayed in in the area. One you can actually walk barefoot in and no neon lady's.

Traveling to JAX 3 or 4 times a year, we have stayed here many times. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Julie, the manager, is very personable with guests. The property is showing its age, could use some sprucing up. The mattress in our room is due for replacement. Breakfast area is comfortable, staff keeps it maintained and breakfast selections refreshed. Overall, an A+.

Staying at this hotel for 3 months and it has been pleasant so far. However 2 employees have not only gone above and beyond but make staying here a little easier for future consideration. The front desk lady Tati helped me get my luggage to my floor on my first night and greets me with a warm smile every time I see her. The other is the breakfast attendant Cindy, she is not only welcoming but makes sure I have what I need and accommodated my special requests. The other employees arenโ€™t horrible they just donโ€™t try very hard to make it welcoming. Who knows maybe things will change. 10 days down 80 to go.

Typical Hampton Inn. Not a bad location but ot great. Couple of Fast Food joints, a grocery store, and a couple of sit down restaurants within walking distance. Room was overall clean, except for black hair on the neatly folded toilet paper roll. The pump soap dispenser had about two days worth of soap. Luckily I bring a backup.

House Keeping is excellent here. Cleanest hotel room Ive ever stayed in. Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Area is a little shakey. Group of hotels adjacent to small shopping center. Lots of vagrants in the shopping center, didnt see any near hotels.

We arrived after the Georgia -Florida game to a welcoming front desk employee! The lobby was decorated nicely for Halloween and the UGA and UF fans with freshly made football cookies! The breakfast spread the next morning was scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, roasted red potatoes, pumpkin spice make your own waffles, hard boiled eggs, etc. Fresh coffee was abundant with fresh half and half! The facility was very clean , comfortable temperature and included a nice fitness center. Thanks for a wonderful overnight stay!

This has to be the worst IHG hotel I've stayed in. Lighting in the room is dim even with all lights on. The bathroom is old and outdated. Service wasn't exceptional during the check-in process. Definitely won't choose this location again

The room was very clean at check in. To my surprise, housekeeping does not service your room until you make the request. Apparently there are signs. This was a totally new experience for me in 40 years of traveling. Their response at check out was "well you didn't read the signs". Lol, ok sure. I will no longer be reading Hampton Inn signs during my future travels.

The sheets are the absolute best, and the pillows are also. Great for the well needed sleep. Having a small coffee pot, mini fridge, and microwave were greatly appreciated. Coffee is always waiting in the lobby, and the breakfast was great. Clean hotel, and very friendly staff

The GM, Julie, was extremely nice and very helpful making sure I didn't have to move rooms with an additional day added to my stay (while they were almost fully booked). I even got a room upgrade! Very quiet and clean, the staff was very accommodating during our company meetings during the day as well as my overnight stays.

Had to stay for a business meeting. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was neat, clean, and ready to go. They hadn't changed the time on the alarm clock yet from Daylight savings, but that's not a big deal, as long as you notice those things. Nothing bad to say, double bed room, fridge, microwave, TV, and coffee maker. They do have a small light breakfast down stairs for free in the morning, cereal, bagel, muffins, and small pre-made waffle, not eggos ๐Ÿ˜œ. It also has a small fitness room and a small pool, so those are nice extras. Overall nice stay and would stay again.

The room was so clean (thanks Tom)! Breakfast was great, including waffles and premade omelets and bacon. Rooms have refrigerators and microwave. The gym was perfect for a quick workout. Friendly helpful staff!

This is the best hotel Iโ€™d stayed at. The management and staff are awesome, they go above and beyond for their guests. I stay here quite often when Iโ€™m working in Jacksonville and really enjoy my stays. The rooms are very clean and organized. This particular hotel is my choice for stays.

After switching us to another room because of an AC problem the manager really went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Travelling with a toddler is never easy and when you have hotel staff that go out of their way to make it easy it's very appreciative. The front desk staff were very attentive and patient with impatient people when we arrived. The room was very spacious and enabled us to comfortably setup my toddlers pack n play and slumberpod with room for him to run around. The pool was just what we needed to help expend some energy and relax after 5 hrs of being on the road. I am hoping breakfast will be as enjoyable as the room and staff have been.

My grandchildren live in Jacksonville and this location was very convenient for my stay to take them back home. I rested overnight after relaxing in the pool. And used the check out on my phone. Very nice and clean rooms in every room I have stayed in from the beach to I-10!

Always outstanding service. Julie was wonderful helping with changes we needed and was fantastic to work with. My trucking company uses them when we have drivers needing accommodations in the Jax area. We will continue using them!!!! Older facility, but very clean and nice!!!! Thank you very much!!! They changed my room the second night and said price was going to be the same. It was 30.00 higher when they emailed the bill. I probably would not have stayed if I had known they were charging me more. It was a decent breakfast.

Very clean nice room. Excellent service. Couldn't give five stars due to the dog barking at 7am. Add to that the kids in the hall right next to my door having a grand old time the night before. If I didn't want a good night's sleep then it would have been perfect.

The room was ok. There was someone's long hair in the vanity sink. Everytime I moved, the bed made a loud creaky sound. There was also a noise that lasted all night long that sounded like someone breathing or a coffee pot percolating...lol...chipped paint and some small black stains in the tub. I expected a bit more for the $141 I paid for one night. The front desk attendant was very polite and professional, though. Easy access to the interstate. The room price needs to come down!!

Philip went out of his way to find us a room for an early check in, very attentive and helpful to all the guests. Only downside is ac unit does a loud decompression sound when it starts and shuts off.

Very nice rooms and service. A little hard to find and parking is very limited. Nice, quiet surroundings with a nice view on the north side of building.
