I’ve been a fan of Metro Park since it started. Through the years I’ve seen numerous good performances that I’ll never forget. Located on one of the most beautiful spots on the river. Make sure you bring your blanket because there’s plenty of grass for you to lay on. Last night, I attended the taco and tequila festival and it was nothing short of amazing. Be well ☮️❤️‍🩹🕯💙

I like how deserted this place has been every time I’ve visited. Makes for the perfect stroll with my partner. 🥰

We have docked at many municipal marinas over the years and Jacksonville's Metropolitan Park Marina is head and shoulders above all the rest. It's also the largest we have seen. Like most free municipal docks, there is a limit of 72 hours of docking in any 30 day period. Docking isn't free and requires reservations if there is an event at Metropolitan Park or TIAA Bank Field. The floating docks are nice, and power is available via a kiosk that accepts credit cards. Overall a great municipal dock near downtown Jacksonville.

I went to Rockville 2019 at Metro Park and it was absolutely epic. It was a pretty big space so plenty of room to walk. I didn't like that the main stage was on concrete though (in the actual stadium parking lot) as opposed to the other two stages which were on grass and more comfortable.

Here for the Welcome To Rockville Festival. This park is very nice, situated right along the St. John’s River. There is a giant statue of an alligator here and the park looks like it is well maintained. If I can come back next year. I definitely will. Parking at the Jaguar stadium and over off Georgia and Adams st.

Great experience at welcome to Rockville. They had more than enough vendors and bathrooms for the 10000 people who showed up. The stages were well place and the timing of the bands were very well organized and planned out.

I love this park. It's not a playground park. It's more of a nature park. There is a large grassy area to picnic in or let children run in. There are several restrooms around the area. It is located right across from the Everbank Field football stadium and the Jumbo Shrimp baseball stadium and runs along the St. John's River. You can fish and walk along the bank. There are also places to dock a boat. Inside the park are gazebos, picnic tables, and benches. It is not usually crowded unless there is a football or baseball game or some other function is going on. They hold the World of Nations celebration there also. It is a very beautiful and peaceful place to relax with family.

I went there to scout a possible location for a photo shoot, but I stumbled upon this homeless guy who had seemed to have made the gazebo his home, and he wasn't happy about me being there. In so many words, watch your surroundings while visiting this park.

We come here for.Welcome to Rockville every year and absolutely love it. They have an amazing setup and always a stellar line up. The traffic patterns are pretty simple to maneuver. Beautiful.venue that offers a nice breeze off the river.

Go for Rockville every year and every year they make the festival even better. We've been to plenty of festivals and this is by far our favorite. It is well organized, always have great talent, handle Florida weather smoothly and the headliners actually headline, they don't overlap the top artists so you can actually see them all

Welcome to Rockville is back for 2019! 3 days of rock and roll. Headliners include Kron, Rob Zombie, Tool, Papa Roach and more! Parking is $20 and water is $4. Had a great time as usual little delayed due to weather but it was fantastic. Be sure to check out the concert every year around the end of April /beginning of May. They post event days in December. Don't miss out tickets are reasonable price if you get them early

I'm giving it 5 stars for experience and not condition. The Marina is not in the best shape, and I was told it was going to close in April due to the construction in the area. As for the experience, I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the boat there. I had power and water available, my vessel was safe, and the other boaters were curtious. Wish it wasn't going away.

Unfortunately it was closed for renovations but I snuck in to quickly look around. Enjoyed the huge alligator statue 🐊

Beautiful place! Came in on a yacht and stayed a few days. Staff and local fishermen/shrimpers were delightful.
