⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🌳🌞 Historic Riverside Kids Park is an absolute ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ gem! 🌳🌞 As a adventuring dad, finding the perfect place to spend quality time with my kid is always a top priority, and Historic Riverside Kids Park has truly become our go-to destination. This park is nothing short of a hidden gem, offering an array of amenities that cater to every member of the family, even our four-legged friends. 🐕👨‍👧‍👦 The two dog parks are a game-changer 🎾🐶, allowing us to bring our furry companion along for the adventure. It's heartwarming to see our kids interact with our dog in a safe and spacious environment. For the little ones, the two play areas are a dream come true 🤸‍♂️🤸‍♀️. They offer a variety of equipment suitable for different age groups, ensuring hours of fun and adventure. The duck pond is a serene spot where we enjoy feeding the ducks 🦆 and teaching our kids about wildlife 🌿🦉. Adjacent to the dog parks, the basketball court 🏀 adds an extra layer of excitement for older kids. We often join in for a game, creating lasting memories. The open field is perfect for picnics 🍔🥪 and impromptu games of tag, while the abundant tree cover 🌳🌲 and park benches provide a comfortable retreat from the sun ☀️. Historic Riverside Kids Park is a haven for families, offering a complete package of entertainment and relaxation. I can't express enough how grateful I am to have this park in our neighborhood. It's a five-star haven that fosters family bonding and outdoor adventures like no other. 🌟👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🐕

Nice park and pond. Benches. Lots of ducks. Yes, there are homeless people early in the morning especially.

Had a blast at this year's Taco and Tequila festival. Loved the way they laid out this event at the park. Great bands, talented artist, tasty tacos and silentdisco!!! Looking forward to next year's event 💃🏾

A nice park overall. I would have been more comfortable letting my child play if there were less people sleeping on the benches around the playgrounds. Near the lake in the center stinks pretty badly but it's a large park which is good for walking around.

Beautiful park. Nice kids playground but need some upgrades or repair. Big pond full of turtles, ducks and fish which you are not allowed to feed. Parking won’t be a problem. Walking trail is good.

Large park with two playgrounds: For toddlers and older kids. They have a cute pond with lots of turtles and ducks. You can sit on a bench and watch the activity in the pond. Keep insect repellant. The birds appear to be unafraid of humans around here.

It's a great little park downtown. Great playground and migratory birds to visit. It would be so much nicer, however, if the garbage was cleaned out if the pond for the birds and turtles sake. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

This dog park area is a total hidden gem! There are plenty of shaded spots for the dogs to play and for owners to sit. Large and small dog sections. Good water stations and very tidy. Has street parking.

There were some rather talky folks on the nextdoor app I deleted a while ago complaining about a supposed invasion of ducks at this park, but a lot of the folks who have been around Riverside for some time still call this duck pond park and I think that's nice. The people complaining may not have these types of ducks in California or New York so I can't wait to see their excited faces when they see alligators or manatees, it will be so nice to see their delight experiencing nature!

Nice park, a lot nature here. Safe for kids and fun play area. Just need some maintenance because you can see a die duck floating on the water, and some broken bench. But the place is so calm and fresh.

Went to the Pride festival! It was amazing. The people were talking about healthcare and there was music and dancing. It was like everybody knew everybody and we were all friends and family!

Loved this park. Great family atmosphere. Went there for a festival and thoroughly enjoyed the day. I never realized it was such a nice park and I’ve been to the area many times.

My local park is my go-to place, like q front yard really 😄 . It's always open so I can easily visit anytime for walking, running, reading, meeting friends or enjoying the playground. It could be cleaner though, what with the birds. But they're also part of the charm of this historic, hundred tear old park at the heart of Five Points

It's a nice park, but someone needs to clean the pond out! There is a dead baby duck and a lot of trash and bags floating around. 😖😣😟

Overall the play sets were nice and my daughter enjoyed her time there. She greatly enjoyed the 20 little ducklings that were there too. The central pond is a nice place to see water birds play with each other or just relax behind the gated enclosure. Note: if you get to the park pre 9am you will also get to see some of the housing challenged persons keeping the park benches from walking off.

This park used to be wonderful, but the community has not kept this park well. There is an entire section covered in bird feces and dead birds everywhere. There are people living in the brush and sleeping on benches at all times of the night and day. The playground equipment needs maintenance and repairs. There are several pieces that cannot be used at all or that cannot be used SAFELY. We love this park, but it’s covered in trash, now. I wish the community would get together to clean it up and repair it. We clean up while we visit but it makes such a minimal impact with so many folks trashing the area.

Always a great park to take the kids to. Great atmosphere and shaded enough to not be blazing hot. The riverfront is just a couple blocks away and makes for a fun walk and adventuring with a fun change of scenery. By the time the kid(s) are done with the park, walking to the river, then all the way back they will be fast asleep for the remainder of the evening.

Perfect for a stroll after eating in 5 Points or taking kids to play and watch the duck and turtles. Park grounds are used periodically for small festivals. There are many large beautiful trees for shade and picnic tables. Also a dog park by the basketball courts. There are homeless who frequent the area. They usually stay to themselves.

There's much to be said for this park. It's potential is not being utilized to the best of their abilities. The duck pond is nice, but most of the time uncapped a little bit of gardening would be nice. And their ducks everywhere does not make for one to want to come back. I don't think I've ever seen people there cleaning the park. And it's not really safe to go to at night. Location. Location location is everything and this one is definitely being wasted. Someone should take this place over. I have so many more ideas then I could name him here. As I'm sure most of everyone else says there with any kind of class does. "RAP" YOU ARE MISSING OUT AN OPPORTUNITY BIG TIME IN THIS PARK.

Open 24hours both the park and the dog park. The dog park is nice well kept. A decent size park on both the small and large dog sides. There's a basketball court and a pond area with multiple parks for the kids. I never had a problem finding parking. It's also walking distance to shops restaurants and bars. Tons of different types of ducks there as well. For the most part the park is also clean
