Took my daughters and wife to visit. As advertised. Went kayaking and sa manatees and alligator. Lots of places to see wildlife. Spring is chilly but fun.

It's a decent park. Pretty quiet. There's a few covered seating areas. There's only one bathroom though and that's a bit unfortunate when you have little ones to clean up.

Very Clean Park! Large Fresh water lake to fish in, must have FL Fishing License and daily size, variety and count limits apply. Which are also Clearly Posted. No Homeless people lingering about or camping within the park.

For people commenting on how dirty the park is… Be the change you want to see!! We all have hands. Bring some disposable gloves. Reach down and pick up a couple of pieces of trash. Just 10 caring visitors a day could have this place looking remarkable in 1 week.

Nice little park. Great for families or people who want to get some fresh air. There's a playground with swings, slides etc, there are a couple walking trails, a few obstacle courses, tennis court and what looks like a baseball field. Its not an amazing park but Its a great place to go if you want to get out. I've included a few photos below.

Great playground equipment for a wide age range. The bridge over the pond is particularly nice, with fishing allowed makes for great family time. The only real con is the only bathroom is up front and not in the best shape. Overall it's a good place, but the park could use some TLC.

Nice place to take the kids or dogs, plenty of seating and room to run. The walking trails through the woods can definitely use some work, it's a jungle back there.

Great park! The atmosphere was great and the kids had plenty of equipment to play on. However, the field and pavillions were not easily labeled and the path to get there was dirt, gravel and tons of pot holes- not good for those with a standard sedan. Also, for a prime time of day on Saturday, the bathrooms did not have soap and were filthy. Summary: I would return due to the atmosphere but would ensure I drove a truck and brought my own soap.

Great park, I learned I'm not as young as my mind keeps telling me. The grandkids loved it. We even took the nature trail through the woods & cleaned up all of the trash. A couple arms full. Please help keep it clean. If you bring it in, take it out.

Take my son and dogs here. Kids are nice, nice playground. Have a bigger kid and smaller kid area. Dog park is gated with open field.

Park is very nice and kid friendly. My 2 yr., nephew, could only say Wow. He totally enjoyed himself.

Cute park with a big kid & little kid area to play. With a pond you can walk around and bridge to walk over. It is a little outdated and needs a good cleaning. The restrooms need an update, they are gross and the door needs to be replaced.

Definitely needs updating in the playground area. All of the mulch is basically gone. The 2-5 year old area isn't very safe for toddlers. A separate toddler area would be great.

Nice place to walk with your dogs and bring your kids for a play day. The 2 big Pavillion is great for parties as well.

What can I say? This park's never been bad to me. I've met some good people there.

Love the park! I take my autistic son there all the time. They have a bridge over water that we walk on and across the water!

The park is very dirty lots of trash everywhere even though there are plenty of trash cans. Restrooms are disgusting and should be Closed permanently. Could be a nice park if the City of Jacksonville would clean it up, but I don't think that will happen it just matches the rest of Jacksonville. Trashville😡

Plenty to do for all ages and activity levels. Very thought provoking and educational signs along the side walks. Very safe. We enjoyed this park and all it offered.

Medium small park that was fairly busy. Nice playground. Picnic tables with plenty of shade but you can't park near them. Soccer/baseball field and tennis court. Trails are at the farthest end of the park but trailhead is not marked. There are exercise stations along the trail. No maps or trail markers of the trails. Dogs must be on leash. There's a section fenced off due to environmental or health dept problems 🤔

My children love this park. Lots of room. Great for birthdays. Playing sports. Taking kids fishing. The only thing is the bathrooms are dirty and smell. The play area is in need of new mulch. Rubber mulch would last longer and the walk bridge on the main play set is fixed with plywood and really needs I makeover.

Great for the kids to run around. Playground is a good one. Covered picnic tables and plenty of space for get togethers. Walking/biking trails are still there but not maintained so be careful. Tennis courts are good enough to get some good exercise on 😎

Great park, I only wish it had more paved walking. Also, the racquetball area desperately needs a net over it. We played here a few times but had to stop as we kept losing balls over the wall and the area behind is heavy brush.

A short visit to the park to kill time and wear her out. There's something there for every all ages. And the restrooms were fairly clean

Very nice big park for kids of all ages, the trail brings you to a nice opening where you could have a picnic. Definitely will go back with the family.

We like this park!!! .........but.........There are a few things that could use work!!!! When it rains the playground, swing sets and bathrooms flood. The mosquitoes are ferocious and will run u off with a quickness. Only come here if its been dry for multiple days and in the afternoon hours.
