Very beautiful hotel it was very nice and clean. My favorite part was the free afternoon drinks. I wish I could of enjoyed the hot tub but unfortunately we came with 500 people plus another group was there as well. Anyways my room was very spacious and my bed was very comfortable. I would definitely return had a great experience.

Our hotel room was so disgusting. If you are a clean person and appreciate nice things. Donโ€™t book a room here you will regret it quickly. Went to check in and they said the room wasnโ€™t ready. After 30 minutes it was โ€œreadyโ€. When we walked onto our floor it was trash overflowing in the hallway, trash all on the floor/carpet. Went into the room it has a smell and looked dingy, the couch and chair had stains all over it, the fridge and microwave had old food splashes in them. There was no shower rod or shower curtain, toilet has pee stains on the seat, the BEDS were made sloppy and didnโ€™t have a mattress covers on them. I went down to the front desk to ask for a new room and show the supervisor the pictures I took. She gave me a new room and it was a little better, appliances were still dirty, and the hallway carpet looked like it hadnโ€™t been vacuumed in weeks. Just poor care of this hotel. Donโ€™t let the pictures fool you. The hotel entrance is the only nice thing about this place. Never again.

If you are an African American please be careful when you stay here. The travel advisory the NAACP issued was 100% correct. I believe this staff is prejudiced and racist. They are disrespectful toward me and I believe its because we are black. We stayed in the top floor and had a balcony. The room was very nice and the balcony was a very nice size. I was very happy with the free parking and delicious breakfast. However, when I went to the front desk and spoke with Paige, I may have smelled like smoke from a party when I asked for some extra towels the night before. I was charged a smoking fee when we left the hotel the next morning. The worst part was we never smoked in the room. They accused me of leaving the room smelling like smoke. This was a complete lie because we had breakfast and brought it upstairs. The room smelled like breakfast when we left almost 12 hours after I left the front desk. When I called the hotel to ask why we got this fee, the manager was rude and disrespectful. I would have returned to the hotel, but I was already 3 hours away. My boyfriend and I are on a road trip from Los Angeles to New York and have stayed at a Hilton Hotel the entire time. I tell you that we did not have any problems in Arizona, Texas, Georgia, Maryland, New York, and North Carolina. This was the only place I felt disrespected. Since this experience, we have chosen to stay at the Marriott Hotels until this issue is resolved. I am also considering closing my account with Hilton because of this issue.

I am a loyal Hilton Honors member and have always held your brand in high regard until now. Regrettably, I made a mistake in booking the hotel room for the wrong night due to an unforeseen distraction at work. Understanding that changes to reservations can be challenging, especially under normal circumstances, I expected a level of empathy and understanding considering the unique circumstances. This reservation held significant personal importance, as it marked our 14th wedding anniversary. The hotel in question was the same establishment where my spouse and I celebrated our wedding night. To my dismay, despite explaining the situation to the staff, there was no willingness to assist by either moving the date or offering a refund. What added to the disappointment was the lack of any acknowledgment or recognition of the special occasion. No congratulations, no condolences for the mix-up, and no attempt from the manager to contact us the following day. It's disheartening to feel so overlooked, especially considering the sentimental value we attach to your hotel. As a result of this experience, I have decided to cancel my upcoming reservations with Hilton, despite being an honors member. The level of service and lack of flexibility demonstrated in this situation has left me with no desire to continue my association with your brand. I believe that good customer service involves understanding and accommodating customers in unique situations, and unfortunately, this was not reflected in my recent interaction with Hilton. I hope that you take this feedback seriously and use it as an opportunity to improve the customer experience at your establishments.

This was the worst experience I've ever had at any hotel ever. I was called and comped 30k in Hilton Honors Points, but I would not have been satisfied unless the entire trip was free. The place was filthy and Becca, a hotel staff was rude and condescending when my mother inquired about how to get 2 pool reservations for my 3 children same day. I understand the COVID policy is that you can't have more than 30 ppl in the pool. But it was empty. And we stayed at the hotel ONLY because they had an indoor pool. But even with the rude and unhelpful staff member, the real problem was how gross the hotel was. I was anxious the entire visit that we would end up with bed bugs because clearly no one cared about keeping it clean. There was hair in the bathtub, mold all over the patio, mold in the bathrooms, thick layer of grime on the baseboards. It was so gross. For $250 A NIGHT, this is unacceptable.

I traveled to this hotel for work. Stayed over 1 week... Myself and co workers experiences pretty much everything about to be listed. Leaks in bathroom from service panel and vents, roaches crawling on ceiling in bathroom, smell of mold and cigarettes in room as soon as you walk in, felt warm at night even though the a/c was at its coldest setting, shower pressure equivalent to opening a bathrooms sink on a medium setting. The breakfast is free, but don't expect it to change...ever! Same food served every sing day!

There was a very long wait for my room because a volleyball team had basically booked the entire hoel... but it was worth. They had great service and I will definitely be back.. but with better company.

Absolutely enjoyed my stay. The hotel staff was extremely friendly. My family really enjoyed Joshua in the hotel restaurant. He was extremely friendly and polite. He is the reason we ate at the hotel for dinner both nights of our stay. The room was great. We had no issue. The only downfall was the pool was extremely cold. Our daughter is a water baby so that was a bummer for us.

We needed a place to stay because we had traveled to the area for a funeral. I've stayed in Embassy Suites before and have always been happy but was very disappointed with this one. It was old, dingy and unkempt. The room wasn't clean, the bedside lamp didn't work, the light switches didn't work and some of the outlets were also not working. There was no soap in the bathroom. The ice machine was broken. The whole vibe was one of neglect. Would never recommend anyone stay here, especially at that price. There are many other options in the Baymeadow area. Choose somewhere else.

Staff was friendly and the premises were clean. Kids loved the indoor pool and parents loved the spa. They provide free libations daily from 5 to 7pm (which is fun)! I had to take a star off, however, as both nights during our stay we could not get in touch with the front desk after 11pm.

Malia was an amazing hostess and kicked our stay off with such a positive and energetic attitude. A true example of what hospitality should be and an amazing example for the Hilton brand. I watched her interactions with other guests from afar as well, and man, she doesn't miss a beat. She can flow with any personality or issue presented to her. As a diamond member for several years, I was happy to do business with her. I didn't get the bartenders name tonight (5/27), but she was just as amazing. Great personality and amazing interaction with customers as the only tender. Great job! Joe or John, our server was just as equally amazing. Not sure where you drummed up such great staff, but dang it's been a while since I've interacted with a grand slam staff at a Hilton branded hotel. The rooms were cozy and typical for an Embassy Suites. Roomy, clean, and easily accessible. Extra towels and blankets came up in less than 5 minute. Whoever is running this location has got it going on. Keep it up, you give the brand a great look! Cheers!

Always loved the layout of Embassy suites with a separate living space and bedroom. Unfortunately this location was a little dated. There was a weird odor all over the hotel. Our room had these funky wanna be barn doors for the bedroom and bathroom. The bathtub drained very slow and our room phone did not work. The microwave in the room was very weak. I had to warm up my water for like 7 minutes to get it hot enough for tea. The breakfast was also disappointing. The had pre made pancakes that they merely warmed up and served. Theyโ€™ve also changed checkout from noon to 11am. Probably would not stay at again.

Stayed last year during hurricane and the room was good, so was reception but not the people at breakfast. I do not know how they wash their utensils and plates so I brought my own and the guy behind the counter snatched my plate and said i cannot use that and have to use theirs. It was horrible. For him alone, 1 star review but everything else was good, so I will not do that.

Bathroom was dirty, Electrical outlets didn't work in the room, Tub would not turn on , Then tub would not drain, tub flooded - usually stay at this property but it has gone down. Pool needs a good pressure washing inside area - looks like they just gave up - However I will say- The free evening reception and breakfast was great! Staff there was amazing!

Stayed the night before getting back on the road. I checked in on the app &when we got to the hotel, I saw the notification that my digital key wasn't available. The person who helped me with the key at the desk was so helpful &really nice. The room is pretty dated. It was dusty on some surfaces &the sofa pillow had a hole. I asked the front desk for some pillows, the man who delivered gave us just one &walked off before I could ask for a new remote because the remote in the living room space was missing a battery. They gave us a new one, thankfully. Some of the lights weren't working even if they were plugged in. Breakfast was okay &it's really nice in the lobby area โ™ก

Living room furniture was old/outdated for the price I paid. Had ants in the bed and room. They did come change linens and spray but we still had bites in the morning. The entire facility must be inundated with ants because they were on our car in the parking lot when we left. Definitely not worth the price I paid. Will never stay there again and never in hotels again period, if I can help it

This hotel is one of our favorite Hilton brand hotels and we love staying there! The only thing this hotel does different than the rest of the other Hilton hotels, is you cannot go to the pool whenever you want! You have to make a reservation! I know that the pool is indoors, but again other Hilton hotels in the area with an indoor pool do not require a reservation! The hot tub was not hot! It was just as cool as the pool! Other than those two things, it was great! Breakfast is fantastic and the omelets are delicious!

My family and I visited Jacksonville to meet a friend and her family. I originally had a reservation at a nearby Hampton Inn last Saturday. Only after arriving at that hotel, I learned that there was a lack of hot water. As a result, I cancelled the reservation at that hotel. I was able to reserve a suite at the Embassy Suites for my family at the last minute. My family and I were very impressed by the service and suite at this hotel. The suite was clean and does not have any carpeting, which is a "plus" for us since my wife and son have allergies. We had dinner at Chelsea's, a restaurant on the hotel property. I have to extend my compliments to John, our server and the chef. They accommodated my son, who has severe egg allergies, with a meal that did not contain any eggs. Both went "above and beyond" for my family. The food during the dinner service was delicious. The buffet breakfast service was excellent as well. There is a separate line for customized omelets to be prepared by a cook. I will definitely stay at this hotel during my next visit to Jacksonville. As a Hilton Honors member, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Jacksonville.

This hotel is close to the Hwy.,which on one hand is good, but it as also means the noise level is higher. The room itself was nice just as advertised on the website. It was also nice to be able to have a hot complementary breakfast again( Post Covid). The staff were nice. I did see staff wiping down door handles, tables, lamp lights. All staff wore masks. You do have to ask for house cleaning if staying longer than one day.

I only gave this hotel a 4 star instead of 5 because of the location and street noise. I definitely would recommend a white noise device if you are a light sleeper. Until 2am it sounds like your at the races. The hotel was a little dated but clean. Staff was nice and helpful.

Stayed one night here for a friend's retirement party. The party was held in the ballroom. When I arrived, there was a short line for check-in, but it moved pretty fast. I was given a voucher for 2 free drinks at the bar for Happy Hour. It was a pleasant and welcomed surprise that I indulged even though I only had 20 minutes before it ended . The room was spacious, but nothing fancy. The staff working at the party were very accommodating and friendly. The food served was good but not very hot. The stay also included free breakfast. They had an omelet station that my sister was happy about. Again, the food was decent but very lukewarm. My pancakes were hard. This isn't the Ritz, but it's a decent hotel in a great location with some nice (and free) amenities. Perfect for families, friends and couples.

Great hotel overall. Negative, the room we had was very dated and the AC was definitely broken which left the room so humid you felt it when you walked into the room (outside weather was 75 and sunny). Positives The staff was beyond nice and tried so hard to keep things clean for everyone. Staff was great at breakfast cleaning tables as everyone came down for the omelet station. You can tell the common areas are kept clean for an environment for all to enjoy (while we were at the hotel, there was wedding, ugly sweater party and conference).

Pretty great stay here. We stayed here one night before our cruise and one night after. Easy to find; pretty close to interstate. The room was very spacious. The bathroom could use a little more cleaning but not that bad. The rest of the room was perfect. Free drinks at happy hour which was nice. And there was a great free breakfast. Would recommend.

Staff and service were great! The only downside was that our room was dated and had a musty odor. However, the room was cleaned daily and towels replaced. Customer appreciation nightly with free drinks and snacks was nice. The best part was the hot breakfast in the morning with cook to order omelets and breakfast bar. All of the food was delicious! The breakfast staff were very friendly and attentive asking us daily if there was anything they could help us with and asking if we were happy with our stay! The breakfast alone is a good reason to stay at this hotel. The only downside with our stay was the musty smelly room. However, we never asked for a new room since the room was quiet and Iโ€™m a light sleeper. I didnโ€™t want to end up with a noisy room! Our friends that we were traveling with us did ask for a new room in which they were accommodated. Location is also an easy 15 minute drive to the beach. Overall, we were happy with our stay and would return when in the area.

Getting the staff to do their jobs was like pulling teeth. We had to schedule housekeeping the day before we wanted it. In two weeks we were there we only asked to be put on the schedule 4 times. And every single time, no one ever showed up. We would have to call down or go down and then they would finally send people up around 8 at night. Then when housekeeping did show up, they were extremely rude (with the exception of one). Rooms are not ready at check in time, so after a 9 1/2 hour drive we still had to wait an hour after check in time to get our room and we didnโ€™t even get the room we paid for (south wing) we were put in the atrium because they had no idea how long it would be till a south wing room would be ready. No freezer compartment in the fridge. Outrageous prices for snacks and drinks in the lobby (no vending thatโ€™s the only snack spot).

It seemed as if the two employees at the front desk took one look at me and decided to play the โ€œidle busy gameโ€ - pretending to be busy and waiting to see who would give up first. It seemed as if the two employees at the front desk took one look at me and decided to give me the worst room in the hotel - Room 716. The room was stuffy with a faint moldy smell. The two room suite had a dull and unused look. The phones had layers of muck and dirt. Under the sink was grimy. The AC only blasted cold air in the front sitting room while the bedroom was muggy and hot. There was a coffee machine but no coffee supplies. I called the front desk to ask for some. I was told I would have to go down to the restaurant to pick up what I needed. The evening reception consisted of nachos and 2 drinks. A list of drink options was provided. Dinner at the restaurant was mediocre, and so was the service. Breakfast was good . The service at breakfast was also good. My stay was just a quick overnight on my way to Georgia. I did voice my dissatisfaction - I was totally ignored. I did not pursue the issue. This was the most horrible hotel experience ever. This is my response in regards to your response posted on 7/31/3023. After I wrote my review, I read previous reviews.ย  I noticed some of my complaints were echoed by previous guests.ย  So itโ€™s seems absurd for you to respond in this manner.ย  It shows you are not willing to address legitimate concerns expressed by your guests.ย  It seems as if the whole front desk staff could benefit from diversity/customer relations/sensitivity training. 8/4/23 Thank you for taking the time to address my issues.

Really nice embassy suites in Jax. Complimentary breakfast is good - especially the made to order omelets. They offer the free drinks in evening. There is a small gym. Parking is easy. Rooms are fine. No complaints at all.

This hotel was nice for my Family Reunion for Tanner Young Yarbrough 101st. The rooms need some upgrades and deep cleaning. The shower head in room (425) needed attention from limescale. There were other issues my family discussed. The location for adventures in Florida was great. I had a great time.

We had to wait 4 hours for a room we reserved a month in advance. The bathroom flooded from the shower in the handicapped accessible room. Other than that service was good, everything was clean, and the building was beautiful.

Overall a very good experience. We've stayed twice and enjoyed both stays. My only criticism is the cleaning staff does not seem to be in sync with the front desk. They cleaned the room when we asked them not to and didn't bring us towels or toilet paper. And they could use a friendlier staff at the bar.

Upon check in, front desk lady said my reservation was not in. Then she said my card on file was declined twice. Her supervisor came over and did something in the computer and said it was fine. No one gave an apology for their mishap. The room was very dusty and need lots of high dusting and needs a thorough deep cleaning. See photos below...

Everyone was so nice and kind. It is so clean and quiet and we love the room. We also visited the Chelsea bar and grill in the hotel. Also Joshua in the restaurant was super kind, and very helpful and his adorable face made it even better. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel in the future.

Excellent customer service , Great rooms I stayed in the 1 bedroom 2 queen suite. It was very clean beds soft. I must compliment the chef who cooks the omelets. Amazing Amazing Amazing !! He was very friendly I watched him cook the omelet and asked for tips at home. He gave me tips. The omelet and all breakfast was delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹

Stayed here on two different occasions for my daughters volleyball tournament. Rooms are spacious and have everything you need for a short stay. The free breakfast is actually really good and having a bar in the atrium was great!

What a pleasant surprise. Had a fantastic experience here. The rooms in the north building are huge. They are two room suites. Mine was clean, everything worked and climate control was perfect. Staff was excellent from check in to the bar team to the breakfast staff and other team members walking the atrium to make sure things flow smoothly. That breakfast area is one of the best run that I've ever seen. And a lot of great options including made to order omelets for FREE. Also, welcome reception with a FREE drink or two at the bar. This hotel has been here a long time and you would half expect It to be run down, but instead you'll find a really well run hotel in great shape for a great value.

Big hotel. Rooms have a large sitting area with a wet bar and a separate bedroom with 2 queen beds. They offer a full breakfast bar in the mornings. Rooms are quiet and overlook a large arturium. The location is close to the major highway exit. No towel exchange daily and had to go to the front desk for any needs. Overall a nice place for vacation or business needs

I got a great deal to stay there Saturday 30Jul22. We got there around 1600. Around 2000 we noticed that the room wasn't cooling down. Front desk did not want to switch us rooms, because if they did, they would of had to put us in more expensive room. The room did not cool down much. Maintenance said it would. It didn't. I could not sleep that night due to room temperature. The room was amazing. I thought I was getting a great deal. I didn't. When I can't sleep, then have to get on road for four hours following day, makes for a bad combination.

Times are changing, the professional courtesy and hospitality that one might expect from Embassy Suites was all but absent at this location, I was almost under the notion that I should be grateful for the opportunity to stay at this location at double the price no less. However the establishment was very clean the lobby area and dining areas were well maintained and the housekeeping and maintenance staff seemed to be on top of every detail of keeping the place looking and feeling like a fine Hotel. The management at the front desk may need some additional training on how to keep guests returning and on the Hilton brand of quality service. I wasn't pleased in the least bit with their lack of any semblance of guest Servicing.

So the hotel is a bit older than most but really nice and comfy. Clean rooms and when ever we needed extra blankets our towels they were at our door within 20 minutes of asking. Free adult drinks from 5 to 7 pm. The breakfast is nice but they could have a few more options through the week like waffles or french toast.

We picked this hotel for the indoor pool. We thought after a long day of sightseeing outdoors would be nice to cool off indoors and out of the sun but other guest trashed the pool. No staff there to monitor or care for it. Guest brought giant speakers to the pool area and was very loud there. We waited for them to leave and returned to pool area but they left it very dirty. The water was left cloudy and trash and clothing items left all around the pool. I heard parking lot noise from the 7th floor. Car alarms going off at 5 am. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast is amazing! The sleeper couch was gross. Stained and uncomfortable.
