Update: The owner has contacted me and generously offered to cancel my membership and waive the $31 fee for doing so as well as remove the $31 that I owe for the month of September for a membership I was told was canceled as long as I remove my negative review and provide proof of doing so. I guess there is still a miscommunication between workout anytime and myself. I received an email from the owner stating they would NEVER ask a member to contact the billing company to cancel and that if I wanted to cancel my membership I should have came in person to do so. Which is EXACTLY what I did. In January of this year. I was told by the employee at that time that I had to call the billing company to cancel and he wrote down their number on a business card and handed it to me. So, I did follow protocol for canceling and was instead given misinformation by an employee that I’m guessing wasn’t trained properly and here I am still trying to cancel. I spoke to the billing company on the phone again earlier this week. They sent me a link to cancel, but when I click on it, I get redirected and told that link doesn’t exist. Generously giving one star because zero stars isn’t an option. I started a membership there solely for the purpose of using their tanning beds prior to my wedding in March of 2021. After my wedding I was lazy and didn’t cancel my membership for many months, which I blame on nobody but myself. Finally, around January of 2022 I tried to cancel my membership. I was told I had to call their billing company. I did and was told my membership was canceled. Five months later, I’m still getting charged. I called Workout Anytime multiple times trying to make contact with the manager (I was told her name was Des), she couldn’t be bothered to ever return my call, but she did eventually email me saying she canceled my membership. I responded asking her about a refund for the months since I was told it was originally canceled. She never responded. So now here we are, it’s almost October and I’m still getting charged every month. Workout anytime says I have to cancel through the billing company and the billing company says I have to cancel through Workout Anytime. So if you are considering joining this gym make sure you want to remain a member forever because that seems to be the only option. I’ve been paying for a monthly membership for a solid year and a half for one month of tanning and not sure I see an end in sight anytime soon.

I do not recommend this gym for anyone who is serious into weightlifting. I am in town for a few months on business and needed a 24 hour gym. I have been a weightlifter all my life and am a bigger guy. I go to the gym, stay to myself, and do not bother anyone. I have been to A LOT of different gyms and have never had a single problem with any of them. The 24/7 gym in oak leaf however does not like weightlifters. I was made to feel singled out as the “big, scary, aggressive” guy and that is very far from the truth. Also as for the gym itself, every one of the barbells are bent. If you so much as drop one of the incredibly bent barbells on the ground, the owner will berate you about it. The gym is also VERY small and it takes quite a while for them to fix anything that breaks. The benches are so high off the ground that you feel like you will fall off of them and can’t use any type of leg drive during your lifts. They do not have an incline bench press, so the one squat rack is often taken up by people incline pressing and curling. There are much better gyms in the area. If you’re looking for a nice, non judgmental gym with a good owner and good equipment definitely look elsewhere. If you don’t believe me just scroll down and see all the bad reviews of previous people like I should have done before signing up.

Daytime access is good but having all time access at night is great. Facilities are nice and clean. Good assortment of equipment but the machines are slightly lacking. There are other cheaper places but they aren't actually open 24/7.

I travel and have been to many gyms. I mind my business and keep my chin down and work. The staff is clique-y and if they don't like you they'll let you know. Very petty and passive aggressive staff. I went to cancel and the lady said I'll be charged again unless I leave a positive review.

Is this a gym or a pickup joint? The female manager shouldn't be making out while she is working. Even if she were off the clock, save the makeout sessions for your private time, AND private place. I assure you, NO ONE wants to see that!

Wow what a great gym! The manager Jasilyn is so sweet and made me feel welcome right off the bat. The trainers are always busy with clients but they were friendly and helpful and even showed me a new move! Awesome club that makes your fitness routine anything but boring.

Highly recommend this gym. It's very clean and doesn't smell like dirty socks. I'm 70 yr old and I'm working on my balance. They have all the equipment I need to, hopefully, never fall. Come in and see!!

I’ve been to other locations and this one is as good as any others and maybe even better. Great staff and friendly gym goers. Ever since the new manager, standards have seemed to go up. Also, I like how many different grips there are.

I've been a member of many gyms and I can honestly say this one of the best. The gym is always clean and staff is respectful and friendly. Its a safe space for anyone to come workout.

Jenn is 10/10 I’ve had a few different, coaches/trainers but she’s so involved and informative. I was actually going to switch gyms until I met her. Her attitude is amazing!! I can’t wait to start workout there all the time

This gym was the first gym in Jax that opened up once the covid restrictions were lifted in May of 2020 or 2021. I could find no other gyms open i.e. planet fitness, LA fitness, Baileys, crunch, youfit, etc. I felt like I had lost 20% of my strength/progress during the lockdowns. This gym really helped me physically and mentally because I just couldn't wait to get back in the gym. I'm still a big fan and enjoy working out here!

Very nice gym, clean, nice people, and all the equipment you need, would recommend.

2023*****UPDATE***** I absolutely love the staff here! The owner and his wife are just amazing people! This gym is not a "bro gym" but a community fitness center for everyone. I feel so comfortable here even the patrons are nice as can be! 2021 My fiancé and I just joined this gym a little over a month ago and we love it! The staff here are very friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Jazzlyn signed us up and is such a pleasure to work with. She is so friendly and has been very helpful during our gym transition. The trainers are very knowledgeable, friendly and will answer any questions you have. The owner even came up to us one day seeing that we were new and introduced himself. Very hospitable, not to mention super affordable and they're open 24 hours. Can't beat that!!!

Love this gym. For the price- I love I can use the hydromassage and see a trainer once a month to get an updated body scan. Trainers are always happy to help and the staff is always friendly. This gym has been a great choice for me !!!

I love this gym! I can work at my own pace and don't feel like I'm competing with anyone but myself. Clayton, the trainer is wonderful to work with and is helping me meet my goals. I have had some health challenges recently but he and the staff are patient and understanding and give me excellent advice. The facility is clean and welcoming. I would recommend this gym to anyone.

Only a month in so far but it's so awesome! There's hardly ever anyone in the building when I go in after work and I LOVE it. Clean changing room/showers/machines and the message bed is a great lil treat to trick me into coming more often.

I cannot recommend this gym enough!!! I’ve always struggled with trying to find a gym that I feel comfortable at.. now I have finally found it! The entire staff is incredible, and welcomed me with open arms. On top of everyone being so friendly and welcoming, the gym is always so clean!
