Chic cafe with lovely decor and amazing sitting place. Beautiful views while sitting inside.they have a special muffin, which cannot be found anywhere else in Hannover. They have wide selection of cakes.

One of the most disappointing stores. Coffee and staff/service combined receive only 1 star. The employees (not all of them) are really unfriendly. The coffee tastes like boiled milk, 200 degrees, and I have to wait 15 minutes before I can drink it. Cleanliness is an unknown word for the store. There are many times that I drink my coffee in a table full of other people's cups, dirty, and the employees are just playing with their phones and laughing behind the bar. The only 2 good things about this place are basically the location and a few sweets. * In the photo, only the 2 full cups of coffee are ours. The table remained dirty with the cups of the last customers until we left.

problem is lack of seating places. Coffee and cake was good. Place is also nice, but if you plan to stay then expect to wait for long time for free place.

I like the americano here, the coffee beans are not so sour and somehow fresh with a little bit. It’s a great combo with chocolate brownie! Matcha latte and blueberry cheesecake have a perfect appearance and are scrumptious! Really recommend. One annoying thing is that the facade of the building is under maintenance, so it’s uncomfortable to sit outside the cafe.

The only different and nice place in Hannover

I was pretty excited to visit this cafe after I found it on Instagram. Unfortunately, there were a couple of things that really bugged me and I will not re-visit it. Here’s why … 1. The service is non-existent if I have to grab my whole order and bring it to my own table – but the card reader asks how much tip I want to give when paying … 2. Used dishes / cups were not cleaned from other tables during my whole visit in the cafe. 3. I had a small cappuccino (which was good), water and a piece of banana bread and paid about 8€. The banana bread was the worst I ever had and it costs 4,20€. It was super dry and tingly in the mouth (I guess from huge amounts of baking powder in the recipe). If I had baked that myself, I would not give it to my guests, nor eat it myself. I would just toss it. 4. The interior seems cool at first glance, but I don’t care about fancy interior if it’s not cared for: dust on the ceilings lamps, wet stains on the floor, etc. The interior plan of the space does not give off a cozy vibe, I felt observed most of the time. 5. The music was too loud and pretty much gave off the young and modern taste of the young employees - not cozy at all. 5. But the reason why I won’t visit the cafe again is: there are no toilets IN the cafe. You get a key, you have to go outside, through some door, downstairs into a basement (anyone can go there, it’s spooky) and then you open the restroom with your key and lock yourself in there. Just no. It was dark and damp down there, never again.

Beautiful place with good coffee, friendly service and wide range of delicious cakes. I even found a gluten-free carrot cake here :) Minus one star because it’s really crowded and not enough sitting places.

Very nice ginger lemon tea! They do have gluten free cakes but they bake it in the same oven!

The drinks and cakes were quite nice. The decorations and atmosphere there is really amazing. The staffs were really friendly and helpful but it takes a lil bit longer than expected to get what we ordered. But overall really nice

A very nice place to chill out and relax! Excellent service with a smile, very tasty cakes and a nice delicious, hot drink. Conveniently located near many things to see and do in Hanover - a great stop off for a quick break to rest those feet and legs!

Stylish little cafe with friendly staff. Unfortunately, better desserts and coffee drinks can be found elsewhere for far less. The salted caramel cheesecake is good, though quark is the opposite of “American-style.” The chocolate-cranberry cruffin is very good — but at 4,5 euros it’s almost as expensive (and not nearly as interesting) as its inspiration, Dominique Ansel’s legendary cronut. The cappuccino is too weak and not good. I love finding a great bakery and splurging on decadent treats for my friends, my family, and even myself. Unfortunately, this is not that bakery.

Very nice place, I loved the cappuccino, one of the few places where you drink a proper cappuccino, I loved the interior, the staff was very polite and highly skilled professionals, best coffee I had in Germany. I would most definitely recommend.

Nice cafeteria with big windows and friendly staff. Coffee is brewed in a Marzocco, but the coffee was not as tasty as you would find it in some other specialty coffees (it tasted more like regular coffee).

Gute ambience, must try when you visit Hannover, especially the brownie cheesecake. High recommended. I came again because of the brownie cheesecake & took away.

Simply a superb modern cafe with fantastic (!) baked goods and coffee creations. Worth a trip across town every time. Was previously called “black apron”, is now called “Codos” but nothing inside has changed.

Had heard great things about this place but was sadly a bit underwhelmed. Service was slow (I had to ask the staff to serve us) despite the place being empty and the espresso was luke-warm. Food itself was nice (the cruffins was interesting though a bit too much for my liking), but a more limited selection than I had expected.

A chic, modern and busy coffee shop. It has cruffins (croissant and muffin) which were very delicious.
