Really good place to have authentic Jaffna food. Good food, good portions. Staff is very friendly and helpful good service. Place have enough parking. The only complaint is that they should change and replace the table mats, it's looks very old and unclean. Prices are reasonable and you would definitely enjoy the teasty Jaffna food.

The cashiers don’t give change saying they don’t have it. Saw this happens to few people including myself. No proper directions or instructions given where to pick your food. Food :- Food quality and taste is OK, curries are bit salty though. But the potion is very very small. We ordered different kind of food and curries and all were very small. Not enough at all. It’s like half of the size what other places offer. So be mindful when you order something. Hotel could be good if you are staying . No idea how is it when it comes to dining. But take outs , this is my experience. Normally don’t like to give negative reviews but I had to.

Booked the hotel for three Member for three days. We arrived in the morning 4.05am and reserve the room. Room was very clean and meat the expectation level. on the day time two visited came to visit us and we received them at room. At the time we got a call from a receptionist (female) without a proper manner and she asked as to come out from the room and we went to meet that lady those who asked to come. But no one responded properly and we backed to the room after few minutes account came to the room with six people and asked us to vacate the room. Several time explain the issues what we faced. Even talked with the owner no any response and we vacated the room with several argument. Poor customer service and poor management. Not recommend for the family....

Pros: Convenient location. Good food. Beds comfy. Cons: Terrible service. Requested for a late checkout as we were leaving in the night train but they wanted us to pay for it. Unwashed towels and bed linen. Asked for a triple room but only left one towel. Bathroom had not been washed. They gave us a room near the area where they were doing constructions, so it was noisy. Room telephone was not working so had to go to the reception if we needed anything.

Overall quality of the hotel is very poor . Reception is so busy all the time and makes the customer waits . It’s not just once or twice it’s just every single time . Food is not up to standard of a hotel . Restaurant is like a siwarkade. Not happy about the atmosphere. Atmosphere and cleanliness is not up to standard of a hotel . Will not recommend anyone .

This is located exactly next to Jaffna railway station. I’ve visited there for a lunch. Prawns 🍤 fried rice is not testy at all. I’ve ordered mango juice, they have served it in a glass which you get by free when buy a Coca Cola or Sprite. I would not recommend for others. But I don’t have any idea about rooms and their service Service is not better.

Best service. Good customer response. Best Food. One of the best Place for photography. Small and beautiful pond is in front of this hotel. I really like this hotel and food. ❤️🙂 That's my favorite stay in Jaffna 😍🙏 I loved the rooms, having a balcony to chill, nice facilities and friendly staff.. Don't skip their breakfast, it is so delicious.. During my stay I didn't take a single meal outside the hotel. The food is superb and fresh always with reasonable prices.. I'm gonna miss the food here 👌😋 Location is ideal just next to the train station where there is an ATM. There is a swimming pool.. To be honest it could be cleaner, but I still enjoyed skipping the heat there :) 100% recommended if you wanna stay in the heart of Jaffna but without the craziness of the bustling city 🤩

Real pricing and prices displayed online are not the same. When it comes to billing, it says different prices in the message and completely different things in bill. Please keep the information on the web platform up to date. The online platform claims there are no delivery expenses because of the close proximity, but they still tack on a transit fee and a service fee. If you are adding those fees, you must also include them on the online platform, correct? I truly don't like your service. My opinion of your service is negative.

Stay for 2 days the room was very spacious and had the balcony view of the train station. Very well trained and friendly staff members the breakfast buffet was the best with authentic Jaffna cuisines. Hats off and all the best for the hotel management team

We German tourists wanted to dine here, but on the upper floor of the restaurant, there was an unpleasant smell of a toilet. The entire meal was served cold. The fries were stale, and the noodles were cold. In the beef fried rice, we found only pieces of bones. The Biryani was cold, and the rice was burnt. We called the manager and complained, but in the end, the full price was charged. A very unfriendly and unhygienic establishment that is only focused on ripping off the guests.

I went here for dinner at the restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and had good portions. It is conveniently located in Jaffna. However the restaurant lacks cleanliness. The toilets were absolutely filthy and disgusting. The hand wash area was filthy as well. The servers were holding the utensils with their hands on the area where you scoop the food. Our server noticed our spoon was dirty and cleaned it with his fingers. The table where we were seated wasn't clean and had traces of leftover food from previous customers. However, I must say we went there 1 hour prior to closure. Not sure if it was this filthy because it was near to closing time but still, unacceptable for a 3 star hotel and for the price of food.

A nice hotel in Jaffna at a affordable price. It’s right by the Jaffna railway station, so you can find the hotel’s location very easily. Rooms were clean and tidy. Food was delicious. Room services also good and fast. They don’t have a pool. But if someone ask for it, they will arrange it at their other hotel which is near by. Night time events are always there and it is little bit noisy. And the restaurant area was untidy and flies were there.Except those issues the rest of other facilities and the service was good.

Rooms are large and clean and the shower is huge. There's a decent looking lap pool but the atmosphere is not inviting and have to use your room towel - haven't tried it yet. There's no gym (in case you saw that online somewhere when booking like we did). The ladies at reception were delightful. Update: we have now tried the pool - it's cold and refreshing. We were pleased thst there was house keeping and a same day laundry service.

Room was fine but food was awful. We stayed for half-board. Dinner was at least little bit ok but breakfast was a disaster.No variety at all. It was Indian food only.

Stayed at Room number 356. Couldn’t sleep well. Had a feeling of someone moving around at around 1.30-3 midnight. Suddenly one light turned on and off. Overall service, location is super. I’m a frequent customer but this time felt something negative in the room only. These are common phenomena in hotel industry and I Hope management will resolve this soon as possible.

Horrible experience at this hotel/restaurant. Rooms were unkept the moment we got in and the restaurant service is even worse. The rooms were falling apart all together with cracks and scratches everywhere. The bath towels given were extremely dirty along with the actual bathroom. The toilet has a “sanitized” sign strapped to it yet the brown and yellow spots all over the lid and seat beg to differ. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Jaffna, instead you can stay at Jetwing or Northgate.

Had lunch immediately before and after the train as it is just close to Jaffna Railway Station. First day a boy from Nuwaraeliya amazed us with his service and communication other than Tamil language which prompted us to come for the second time. Their Valampuri Special Fried rice is really good and value for money. Rooms should be good as we had other place to stay.

Today I just go and order the food for tomorrow . Very friendly staffs and they give the good hospitality service for me

Restaurant Service is bad Last December 14 we went to lunch in valampuri hotel. They charge my bill twice in my atm card. After getting my complain.it takes almost 20days to refund my money. Is this a hotel management? They don't no how to swipe a atm card. After many phone calls and complains it takes 20days. Poor management. Worst customer service.

We called in for lunch during our stay in Jaffna and the place was packed. We only had nibbles which were great, the menu is well priced and varied, we would have come back to try more if we had the time. (They did put hot milk on our tea which wasn't great but we should have specified black). Location is right next to the station, so if you arrive in Jaffna hungry and want some where air-conditioned to refuel and organise, here would be great.

I recently dined at this restaurant and tried their Hyderabad mutton biryani, prawns kothu, and chicken pulao. The mutton biryani was a delight with its rich taste, while the chicken pulao was acceptable. However, the prawns kothu left me unsatisfied. The prices seemed a bit high considering the portion sizes. Overall, a mixed experience with room for improvement.

The hotel is situated next to Jaffna railway station in station road. The white high rise building is a hotel with restaurant. There are ample parking spaces to park your vehicles. I have never boarded in this hotel. However, I have visited the restaurant few times. The foods are delicious. Most importantly the price is better compared to the other leading hotels in Jaffna town. Due to the value for money, the place will be mostly overcrowded. Especially during the lunch time. Hence, the food preparation will take around half an hour. Do not worry about the seating, there are ample space for seating. The food items include native foods, Chinese and Indian cuisines as well. You can obtain milk shakes, fruit juices even pudding as dessert. It is better to order deserts together with the main course as the hectic order may delay in obtaining your delicious deserts.

We spent about a week. We found the staff were very helpful and courteous. Good selection of food for Breakfast. Food was reasonably cheap. Rooms were clean. It is worth for the money you pay compare to the other similar hotels in the area. We would use them again.

I have been here few times with my friends for lunch. Amazing & most delicious dum briyani varities they have. Staffs are friendly and poor in customer service. And I can see staffs treat costomers with double standard. My request to serve beer with lunch refused but nearby table person who wear coat and suit allowed to take beer :) .

If you're looking for an hygienic and a hotel close to the railways station this is it ! Service of the staff is Exemplary !!! Food is surely worth the try but can improve a bit. Ample parking space and atmosphere is very neat.

When you're looking for a HB package it's noteworthy, coz they have the simple menus (only 4 item for dinner) you have to choose but if you're willing to order separately they have a good food verity. So better to have a RO/BB (room only / Bed&Break fast)

Location is perfect. Breakfast is cheap and the best in town. Staff good. Neat. Disliked · Wifi worked part time. Engineers knew the problem but didn't have the management's backup to solve the problem. They pretented that they were trying to solve but never came out with any. It worked total of 12 hours during my 6 days stay. Getting things done by the reception is so unprofessional. Needs more training.

The place was dirty and full of flies as well as mosquitoes. Disgusting!! Even our drivers weren’t treated properly. The rooms were dirty and we were given a Triple Room the size of a shoe box !! The door to the balcony didn’t even have a lock! Extremely disappointed in how they handled it all. The staff was very unprofessional, and lackadaisical. Food was HORRIBLE! They served the SAME THING for breakfast everyday! A lot of wear and tear at the hotel. Disgusting, absolutely disgusting and horrifying. We will not be coming here again. If you are looking to stay in Jaffna, please stay at the Jetwing or Thinnai instead.

The food is delicious and can't fault it. The service however needs to improve. There were plenty of staff but it's like they are allocated a certain job and certain table and they will not do other tasks. There were staff waiting around and some were even watching cricket on the TV but they wouldn't serve us when we called. That in my books is not looking after your customer. For the price paid, the service needs to improve.

The food and beverage service of this hotel is the worst experience I ever had. They took 30 minutes to take the order, 40 minutes to prepare, didn't deliver even a bottle of water to the table. They didn't even provide cutleries, no sides. We had a group of 80. There was no buffet. Just like a 'Siwar' hotel they prepare each order separately. In the menu there are so many choices but when we ordered, only three choices. The buffet they provided in the morning had only one or two items to select from we had to wait nearly 30 minutes to get something to eat from the buffet.

Had a party last night with nearly 70 participants. But their organization was not up to the standard. Even they didn't have ice cubes They went to shop to purchase ice cubes only after we asked for it on the party. And they supervisor was bit arrogant when we asked whether it will get delayed. And not much friendly. Servers and the basic staff were active and friendly. But not the supervisor.

This place was a place where we had some delicious combinations. However, quality and attention have deteriorated over the time. Very recently ordered Jaffna style mutton and crab curries which came as totally different flavors. Not recommended anymore.

Good place to have a dinner for reasonable rates. Alcohol served outdoor restaurant area. Food is good and has less wait, staff is helpful. Not suggesting to bring little kids.

I have stayed here last December. Just left to Jaffna station when you exit from station. Rooms were spacious and nice ambiance. But room cleanness was not that much better. Breakfast buffet was very tasty and variety of options was there. Indian, Sri Lankan and English breakfast foods were great. Dinner time was overcrowded because outsiders also came there to dining. Because foods were comparatively cheaper than other 3-4 star hotels nearby and tasted better as well.overall positive experience.

Many staff hanging around not paying attention to Guest and mostly they are not knowledgeable ..One advantage close to the Railway 🚃 station & to the Town.. My remakes to employee, Lavan & Mithra very helpful & Thanks for their support which made my stay okay & Memorable....

The most unprofessional service I’ve ever seen .. I came up with incident for the very first time in my life. I called to call the room service to ask for a bottle of water which took me 30 mins to receive and finally a man knocked on my door and had two water bottles and i took them. When I was about to close the door the man was asking for my personal mobile number …! I said NO then whatsapp I said no and asked why would you need my number ? He barely spoke any English And said i like boys I was like what? Then He kept asking personal questions I wanted to close the door and make up my tea then he was asking for my Facebook .. he was keep saying that he likes boys.. thats was soo disgusting and soo unprofessional I wonder whether they had ever any hospitality training..I then closed the door having serviced the most awkward service ever.. This is very poor service and very unprofessional.! Only one plus points.. Its a good property but just forget the service….!

I am sorry to inform you about their service.They were charged additional more than 5000 for a few hours staying. When we were check-in the man who was in- charge there was told the cost was only 10 550.00LKR. But when we were check-out the same person said that they must charge additional 5 250.00LKR. It should be ethical way to inform to customer when they ask about room charges. In the worst thing is they was mentioned our arrival and departure in two difference date even we were checked in and check out for same day and our stay was only for 5 hours. They must be honest when the customer asking the prices. The room services were quietly bad as bed sheets were not clean, there was no power, the bathroom items were not sufficient for two persons and allocated for one person even we stayed deluxe room,some coffee packets, milk powder packets were already opened and spoiled. Shame on your service!

Worst food available in town. The area is beautiful but the food doesn’t live up to first expectations. The food has no seasoning or proper salt. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP AT ALL!!!! Money was spent a lot but after we went to a cheap street food shop to fill our tummies. I will never come here again.
