We had a terrible experience yesterday at this store. I bought apack of strepsils that contains 12 tabs. She entered it for a whole box. Thank god I checked the bill after the purchase and amended it .what if a customer unaware of this , 99% of us won't double check the bill on the spot

They don't have choices. In ice cream they only have their own Cargills and Kotmala In tooth paste I only saw Clogard In flour 7star. After they keeping brands separately and I miss too see other brands? Or they are purposefully hiding them to sell their own and particular brands? They have vegetables which are not available locally such as thumba karavila red cabbage, parsley. But they are not taking out the non fresh ones. One should carefully inspect the freshness before buying them. I love their staffs they are friendly.

Today I went to buy vegetables and I'm shocked to see the quality of vegetables at Cargills food city..they want to sell something they don't bother about the quality

If you have anything to clarify any issues about items you can clear through the branch manager …,Supreme place for shopping groceries , vegetables, fancy items, sea foods,fruits and pharmacy related items. Very friendly staffs. Possibility for having good meals at KFC which is located 2nd floor after the heavy shopping 😀😀… Situated just infront of Jaffna hospital facing hospital and click tower road., It is a shopping complex consists of super market, food court,e electric/ electronic shops and cinema., Cargills Cinema has 3 different theatres., Very good AC theatres & great quality of sound system available., Once we watched 3D films too & screening Most latest films.( Mostly Tamil & few English films too), Basement parking available.

This Cargills Food City is place in a massive building. And this Food City is also a very big Food city. If we talk about the parkings, there are parking slots for bikes in front of the Cargills and in the underground (basement) there is huge parking area for cars and etc. If you parked you car in the basement, make sure to use the lift to go up.

Situated in the Cargills square, they have a variety of groceries like other Cargills do around the island. I'm dropping a star due to the unavailability of basic communication options (hard to find English/ Sinhala speakers) to buy the exact items from the supermarket.

Typical food city super market you can find island wide. Times it gets busy during evenings. In my couple of visit I could see staff were trying their best to keep the place clean, sometimes you feel they can do bit better though. I find myself spending more time at checkout than it took me to roam around the store, checkout staff needs some training (but I’ve seen worse in Sri Lanka, also I must point out; as far as I noticed most of the food city checkout staff are quite slow).

This was beat shopping mall in the Jaffna city. Newly built with high quality cinema, shopping and food outlaws. Parking facilitated under ground and side of mall.

I really love Cargills in Kandy. Prices are good service us great there's a wide variety of fruit and veg. Service is very good. It's always bustling..However some Cargills are less good in other parts of the island
