Must visit place in Jaffna. One of the best museum express the Tamil history and culture. It having three floor and worth to spent time here. Ticket price shall be Rs. 100 for adults and Rs.50 for children. Especially it having statues of Tamil kings such as king Ellalan and King sangiliyan .

This newly built museum is a great place with lot of hostorical items, vehicles, images and paintings of Jaffna. The architecture and the atmosphere of this place is very nice and cool place to spend time. The entrance itself is an example of the excellence architecture of the place and the front area is built as a water fountain which showcase the solar system which surrounded by the statues of Jaffna Kings. Its a must to go to place to get the historical glimpse of Jaffna.

Ticket price (as of June, 2023) : 100/= 3 floor building that is enriched with jaffna culture. Sculpture of all the kings who ruled jaffna were made and placed at the entrance in chronological order. Ground floor : aniques, coins, etc. 1st floor : rare photographs, news clippings, etc. 2nd floor : beautiful paintings about jaffna culture

This is a reasonable museum with a lot of potential. Very low entrance fee (100 rupees). There are a lot of exhibits but not many information signs to tell you what they are. Upstairs there are lots of interesting photos and paintings, again, more information signage would be good. Interesting collection of old cars and agricultural machinery outside.

A place must to visit. Very interesting ancient collections and unique historic collections to see.

They have a good collection of items representing tamil history. Specially the second floor with old newspapers and other historical figures. Also they are in the process of adding new items. Tickets are LKR 100 for adults and LKR 50 for children.

A place to understand the Hinduism and its history and traditions. With the black rock carving and buildings can be considered as a place to understand the concepts of Hinduism.

It is one of the remarkable places in Jaffna. Old culture and traditions, movements are protected in the form of Art and artifacts. This place is a creation of hard work of good people. All citizens of Ceylon much take priority to safeguard and develop the place.

Wonderful project by Respected Aruthirumurugan in the entrance to Jaffna . The museum contains all antique collection of Tamils and photo gallery plus art gallery by fine art students represent Jaffna culture . A recommended place during Jaffna visit.
