First
things
first.
Hotel
room
was
decent.
But
the
breakfast
buffet
was
below
average.
Although
the
hotel
management
is
looting
people
with
absurd
policies.
It's
like
you
impose
any
arbitrary
charges
on
the
guest
on
the
name
of
policy.
So
we
booked
hotel
from
a
3rd
party
website
for
very
next
day.
We
booked
the
room
paying
in
Full.
Room
booked
was
non-refundable.
After
booking
confirmation,
we
got
a
mail
and
call
from
the
hotel
that
due
to
Christmas
Eve,
there
is
a
"mandatory"
dinner
at
hotel
charged
at
whopping
3000
per
person.
After
getting
this
mail,
we
tried
really
hard
to
cancel
the
room
with
full
refund
but
didn't
get
any
confirmation
till
the
end
of
the
day
so
we
decided
to
go
ahead
with
the
booking
and
to
talk
some
sense
to
the
hotel
management
while
checkin.
At
checkin
we
met
Meena
Jangir,
the
reservation
manager
and
Nisha
Jangir,
who
said
if
we
don't
want
to
take
gala
dinner
then
also
we
need
to
pay
3000
for
normal
buffet
dinner
at
hotel
even
though
we
said
we
won't
be
having
any
dinner
as
we
were
in
Jaipur
to
attend
a
wedding.
So,
in
short,
since
the
booking
was
at
the
last
moment
and
due
to
peak
season,
we
weren't
able
to
find
another
decent
hotel
and
had
to
pay
the
extra
charges
imposed
by
the
hotel
in
the
name
of
policy.
This
is
beyond
any
logical
reasoning
that
a
hotel
is
making
dinner
mandatory
to
extract
money
from
the
guest
on
the
name
of
some
policy
even
if
guest
doesn't
want
to
have
dinner
at
the
hotel.
