I love the place. The statue of lord Ganesha is really very beautiful and precious. I went there with my family, It was the first rakshabandhan of my daughter Sriti and she tied the Rakhi to Ganesh ji. I was really happy to see the cooperation of the temple management and the blessings of the lord Ganesh. Jai ganesh

When you visit Jaipur don't miss this Ganapati Mandir. It's maintained well, however parking could be little challenging.

It's a super busy temple. People from many different places were there to pray, they brought their new cars there for blessing as well. The outside of the temple, on the street was full of people and vehicles. We got in line and waited for our turn to go inside. People waited in line patiently. The thing I liked was that no one stepped on your shoes or kicked your shoes away when you were inside. People got in and out really quickly.

Jay ganesh Nice temple in Jaipur Moti dungri temple in Jaipur is located on a small hill and is bordered to moti dungri fort in Jaipur Rajasthan .Lord Ganesha is worshiped before starting anything new. Lord ganesha clears the obstacles and disappears the way for us to move forward in life. Moti Dungari in Jaipur is one of the oldest temples of lord ganesha and is famous for its divine power. Thousands of devotees participate in the preparation of festivals and pay their regards to the lord ganesha. The temple is a popular tourist attraction in the city. To celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi, devotees bring home idols of Lord Ganesh to worship the deity, eat good food, enjoy with friends and family, and in the end, immerse the idols. Additionally, temples offer prayers and distribute sweets such as modaks because it is Lord Ganesh's favourite. The festival marks the birth of Lord Ganesh, the god of wisdom and prosperity. It falls in the Bhadrapada month of the Hindu calendar.

Jai Ganesh 🙏🙏 Embark on a spiritual journey at the renowned Moti Dungri Ganesh Temple in Jaipur, a sacred abode with a rich history. This age-old temple stands as a testament to Jaipur's cultural heritage and is revered for being one of the city's most iconic landmarks. As the first deity worshipped, Lord Ganesh, Vighnaharta, holds a special place in the hearts of devotees who seek blessings for a smooth and obstacle-free life. Jai Ganesh! 🙏

Moti Dungri Temple is located near the Birla mandir in Jaipur. The temple is more than 300 years old and was built by the rulers of Jaipur. You can take a taxi or an auto to this temple. I would recommend you to visit the temple in the early hours as it gets crowded as the day proceeds. Also a fun fact if you donate 50 ruppes or more then you can get the tasty ladoo Prasad. I recommend you to visit this beautiful temple.

One of the most believed Lord Ganesh Temples in the northern part of the country. Well maintained and decorated worship place which happens to be one of the 4 dhams of Jaipure ( other Three being, Tadkeshwar Mahadev, Thikana Govind Devji and Chandpil Balaji). Other than Wednesday's there is a moving queue and you will get to get deity in no time. Walking distance from Birla Mandir which can be another stop spot for a spiritual yet divine experience. Shree Ganeshaya Namah!!!

It is believed that newly wed comes here for 'ashirvad' after marriage. Students before exams visit this temple. If you purchase a new car you visit here. This has been proven to be an auspicious temple from many years just like Govind Dev Ji temple. Ganesh Ji is usually offered Besan laddos and here in Jaipur they are very different in taste from Delhi or Lucknow. If you notice orange pillars at the beginning of the temple, you can put orange tilak on your own from those. Orange colour is always present in it in the form of tilak, this is mesmerizing.

When you are on Jaipur City tour, this is a must visit place. Very peaceful and well maintained. The parking is big issue but can park in the parking allotted to Birla Mandir. You can cover 3 to 4 temples nearby when in this area.

This enchanting temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha is a revered site for both locals and tourists, and my visit left me awestruck by its charm and significance. The temple's name, Moto Dungri, translates to "Pearl Hill," and it's easy to see why. Perched atop a small hill, the temple is a striking white marble structure that gleams in the sunlight. Its unique and exquisite architecture is reminiscent of a Scottish castle, with turrets and domes adding to its regal appearance. The intricate carvings on the temple's exterior and the stunning craftsmanship truly showcase the artistic brilliance of the builders. As you climb the gentle slope to reach the temple, you are welcomed by the soothing sounds of bhajans (devotional songs) playing softly in the background. This serene environment sets the tone for a peaceful and reflective visit. Inside the temple, you'll find a beautiful idol of Lord Ganesha, adorned with vibrant flowers and offerings from devotees. The sanctum exudes a sense of tranquility, making it an ideal place for meditation and prayer. Devotees from all walks of life come here to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles. One of the highlights of visiting Moto Dungri is the panoramic view it offers of Jaipur city. From the temple's vantage point, you can see the city spread out before you, with the iconic Nahargarh Fort in the backdrop. It's especially breathtaking during sunset when the sky transforms into a palette of vibrant colors. The temple is not just a place of worship but also a cultural hub. It often hosts events and cultural programs, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the local traditions and festivities. These events provide a deeper insight into the rich cultural tapestry of Rajasthan. In conclusion, Moto Dungri is a captivating destination that offers a delightful mix of spirituality, history, and scenic beauty. Whether you're a devotee seeking blessings, a history enthusiast exploring Jaipur's heritage, or a traveler in search of picturesque views, this temple has something special to offer. Moti Doongri TempleMoti Dungri is a small hill, centrally located in the city of Jaipur. Moti Dungri means Hill of Pearls. The hill houses a palace and a temple. The temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesh. Most of the residents of Jaipur begin their day with a visit to Lord Ganesh ji of Moti Dungri temple. This temple has people from all religions coming to worship the Lord Ganesh Ji. People of Jaipur believe in extending the first invitation on every occasion to the Lord Ganesh Ji of this temple before inviting anyone else. Every newlywed Jaipurite starts the first day of married life with a visit to this temple. All new vehicles of big or small size and type are brought to this temple for good wishes and safe drives. HISTORY OF MOTI DOONGRI TEMPLE Monti Doongri templeAccording to the senior citizens and priests of the temple, the king of Mewar was carrying this huge idol of Lord Ganesh ji in a bullock cart. He was supposed to build a temple at the site wherever the bullock cart stops the first time. And then the cart stopped close to Moti Dungri and the temple was built there. A business man known as Seth Jai Ram Paliwal took the supervision of the temple construction under the guidance of the chief priest Shiv Narain ji. The Moti Doongri Temple, Jaipur is popular for its marvelous location and exquisite architecture that surprises every visitor. This temple has been built in accordance with a Scottish castle and is really a marvel of architecture. Today this hilltop fort is the residence of Rajmata (Queen Mother) Gayatri Devi. In the past, the place was a small fortress called Shankargarh (Shiva’s Foot) but was later changed by Sawai Man Singh II on the conception of a Scottish castle. It became the venue for his innumerable parties attended by the top socialites of his times afterwards. A beautiful Palace is also constructed close to the temple on the hill which is known as Moti Dungri Palace. The Palace is modeled as a Scottish Castle. It was occupied by Maharaja Madho Singh’s son and the Palace still belongs to the royal family and is not open for public. Rajmata Gayatri Devi and her son, Jagat Singh was living in this palace till recently.

Moti Dungri ganesh ji is one amongst the famous ganesh temples in India. We were lucky as when we entered the mandir, the Aarti started. There’s a Hanuman ji temple also just diagonally opposite to this temple. Good Vibes and positive energy is what all I can say.🙏🏻

The temple's unique architecture, resembling a Scottish castle, adds to its charm. Devotees can offer prayers to Lord Ganesha and seek blessings. The temple's calm atmosphere and scenic location make it a lovely spot for introspection. Moti Doongri Ganesh temple is believed to be the most renowned ganesh temple in the city amongst the various others. Wednesday is considered as the day of lord Ganesh and hence on every Wednesday, lake of devotees visit the temple for offering their prayers to the almighty. The statue of lord Ganesh is huge here. Covered in Sindoori orange colour, the statue is sitting on a platform. His two wives Riddhi Siddhi stands on the entrance of the inner door. This temple is situated right next to the Birla Mandir temple on JLN marg, opposite to JDA building. The road to this temple is normally open all other days except for Wednesday when the devotees are huge in number. On Wednesdays people park vehicles in front of birla mandir and walk to this temple. This is the temple where all new vehicles come after leaving showrooms for worship, as a sign of taking blessings from lord Ganesh on the vehicle to avoid any accidents. It is believed that all your wishes are granted by the lord.

In india, Lord Ganesha is known for seeking his blessing before strting or initiating any new good things. That is why, this Lord ganesha Temple is famous in jaipur & has been known to many. The visuals during Ganesha Chaturthi & devotion from people in order to offer worship & seek blessing from Lord Ganesha on the day makes one awestruck. Since childhood days, I have been going to offer worship to Lord ganesha & seek his blessings in everything I do. One feels blessed upon seeing him & offering prayers. The famous besan ka laddoo in his prasadi is something I crave for & haven't found anywhere. We went there early morning so little rush and were very fortunate to attend aarti
