This place is a real gem. We were a bit sceptical because we thought it was going to be too touristy. It was a hot day and we desperately needed a nice cold beer. We went on the roof top and enjoyed the peaceful view with the whole terrace for ourselves. We decided to order food (pasta and a paneet wrap). The pasta was delicious (better than in some parts of Europe) and the wrap was exquisite. The staff is also very nice and welcoming. I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful view by the lake and great staff. We just went there for drinks but the food definitely looked tempting on the tables next to us! They were also playing the fifa finals on a big screen and you could see the laser light show from side :) It’s great for going out with friends or family or on a date!

Great location! I was walking by Gadisar lake, just finding the best spot to sit and bask in the beautiful sunset. Stumbled upon Tathastu, which had opened a couple of weeks back itself. It has an internal sitting area (also with a view but covered) and a roof-top area. The rating is for the location entirely. The service was slow, a cup of cold coffee took 45 minutes, the bill took 40 minutes - it was perhaps because it was suddenly overflowing with people and the folks working there were new. I don’t have a complaint as such cuz I had all the time in the world, and its a good spot to work from in the evening. I even got to witness bits of the light show from there. Hoping the service time gets faster which it seems was the issue for everyone. I didn’t order any food so can’t comment on it. Overall: The owner was nice, everyone was exceptionally polite, and the view was great. Also has a projector set up for the folks who wanted to catch the match. Very nice property.

Great place to spend the evening and dine by the Gadisar lake. The musical water fountain is right in front of you if you come here around 7:30(daily music show time). A couple Chhatris also sit idly next to it. We were tended by our amicable and considerate server, Waqar. Food is delicious too by the way.

The food was very tasty with modest portions. Our server Zakir Hussain was very polite and prompt. The owner and the rest of the staff made sure we were comfortable, and taken care of! Lastly, as the reviews mentioned, Sharukh Khan's coffee was definitely worth trying, especially the cold coffee with ice cream!

We came for coffee and we ended up spending the entire day here!✨ Tathastu Cafe is simply the best place in Jaisalmer, they absolutely nailed everything we order! 🤩 I'm Italian and to find a good coffee is like finding heaven for me and the cappuccino here is just what you need to start the day right! ☕ I also tried the Malai Kofta, which is a delicious vegetarian meatballs cooked in a curry full of flavours...I ordered mild and for the first time in Rajasthan I actually managed to get it done as my liking!!!😍 And the cheese naan there is the best one so far in my 6weeks travel in India 😋 We spent a beautiful relaxing afternoon, drawing mandala and drinking beers! They even do cocktails!!! We tried Classic Daiquiri and Espresso Martini and they were both super yummy 🙃 perfectly done like if we were in Europe 💃 Also the staff is amazing, special mention to super host Manolo! 🙏

We were fortunate to celebrate a special birthday dinner for four recently. Very nice, on the water, pleasant ambiance. Wonderful service, most attentive, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed cocktails, brought our own wine and paid corkage, enjoyed delicious crab cake appetizers, split salads and each ordered an entree. Everything was delicious. I was

We came at sunset sipping tea by the lake. It has a top floor balcony and it had beautiful views of the lake watching the boats in comfy sofas. Raidin khan gave us wonderful service & we sat with bats flying over our heads - totally magic !

It's a nice place in Jaisalmer to have your Multi continental needs. They serve all kinds of food with good taste. Ambience is nice along with the lake view from their cafe Best time to be here is sunset time. I given 4 stars because 1 star i want to deduct of their service. It's too late. But i like the taste of food that's why i given 4 stars.

Dinner there.. Positive: + Foods are not really good but not really bad. + Drinks are good. + Waiter is polite. + Free of crispy roti. Negative: - Table, dishes, forks, spoons are quite dirty. I need to take my tissue wipe to clean it. - No fan in the restaurant is really hot. - Waiter is polite but forget anythings and needs to come to us again to take an order.

Excellent pasta, fantastic view, excellent staff. Highly recommend, to keep in mind this is a pure vegetarian restaurant like most in the city.

I am a tourist and went for my birthday dinner here. And it turned out to be an astonishingly amazing place for late evening with lake view in Jaisalmer. Service 10/10 and food is 10/10. The music and vibe here is also 10/10. The prices are also reasonable for a great taste. The food served is hot and fresh, with water bottle free.

Offers breathtaking views of the Gadisar Lake, which you can enjoy relaxing and sitting in a peaceful atmosphere - But that's all this place has to offer. The food was not good - we had manchow soup and hara bhara kebab, and both items were subpar in taste and quality. The service was also not so good.

Beautiful restaurant by the Gadisagar lake. This overlooks the lake and is a good place to come early and see the light and sound show from. The food was pretty good especially the pizza and pasta selection. Also a great place to have a drink and click some amazing photos. The night ambience, the warm open fires and the relaxing view of the lake is definitely a must do on your Jaisalmer trip
