I had a great experience here. Outstanding customer service. Our orders came pretty quick and the portions are good to share. My favourite absolutely the Nasi Goreng Kambing! The fried chicken really good too. Love all the chillies on the side ..

Always loveeee Daun Muda! They always impressed me by serving divine food! This definitely top 3 Indonesian restaurant in my bible 🥰 I’ve also tried Daun Muda in Menteng, I think I like the layout/interior in Menteng more than in Woltermonginsidi, but both have very small and narrow parking space. Staff also very friendly and during weekdays, they are not packed at all - Stuffed tofu 8/10 (would be better to add more filling - veggie fried rice 9/10. Love it love it love it! It’s al perfectly balanced - bitter gourd tuna 9/10. I don’t usually eat bittier gourd, but this one is exceptional! - sambal matah 9/10 - sayur lodeh 7/10 - beef tongue fried rice 9/10 - Daun Muda signature veggie with raw fish 5/10 - smoked beef tongue 8/10 - grilled shrimp rica 8/10 - grilled shrimp balado 8.5/10 Quite pricey but it’s worth it!

They serve indonesian foods, it tasted good especially their spicy ribs sambal matah I love their interior, it's industrialist but have warm ambience, oiyaa they also have smoking room on their second floor I recommend you to go there before lunch or have reservation before, so you won't wait that long.

The place is nice and suitable for families and for meeting up with friends. Food also tasty. Nasi goreng is best. Their tahu isi, buntut and pare are also nice. The taste is light and simple. But for those who like stronger taste might say that it's a bit bland. I love all the sambal, and the character of the sambal is all raw. The drinks also good. The only downsides are the parking space is too limited and menu is also can add more option to the menu. And also they need to improve the desserts. The cakes were dry and not fresh (taste like fridge so I guess it might be a week old!) Also the pudding was not nice at all..

Modern ethnic ambiance shrouded by vegetation in the corner of a busy street. Food was great and the Price was okay, knowing its location in one of the prime dining area of south jakarta. Recommend to book a table ahead.

We share experience during the Ramadhan Month, the place was full and in a joyfull atmosphere foor Buka Puasa. We rrserved table and pre-ordered ourfood selections via their wa number, Ms Retno was handling our order. She was very promt, our foods was on the table as ordered and as the time requested. The food was great in taste and quality. The portions are big enough to share up to three people. It would be nice though if the music turned down/off during the Adzan Mahgrib. The servers tried their best to distribute Tajil, while I must fetch our own at the counter. No big deal. Resto highly reccommended !

I felt blessed to be able to eat the Seafood Nasi Goreng here. Their portion size is huge as well, and everything I tried here was absolutely delicious. 10/10 recommend!

It's my first visit although I heard good review/feedback from folks about Daun Muda or pass by the restaurant back and forth so many time. The location wise very easy to find, on a busy Jalan Wolter Monginsidi before the traffic light towards Jalan Trunojoyo (you won't missed). One of best Indonesian fusion restaurant in South Jakarta. Menu wasn't complicated, simple food and beverage which represented best Indonesia culinary tradition. Food/Beverage presentation, the dessert, freshness, taste, everything was sooo delicious and all comes with big portion. My favourite was Juice Durian and Es Kopyor Durian.. yummy!! Restaurant itself very clean and spacious (except the parking areas). Great ambiance, I like the open kitchen idea :) Price wise was ok, a little pricey but I think it's fair enough since the service they provided and how amazing the food was. Definitely reservation is needed just to make sure you got proper and nice spot. When I arrive restaurant it was only us (our group) well quite early tho around 6pm-is but later number of guests start picking up and mostly big group. Thank you Daun Muda - see you soon! 😊

Came here for the office dine out yesterday, the place is cozy and the food is awesome, but I (and most of us of 8++ people attended) agree that they need to improve the service quality to provide best experiences to guests, more smile and hospitality will be great. Or maybe we just came at the very wrong mood-time? Frankly, we did not feel welcome here, not to mention the price though. And also, the parking management is terrible, no vallet? Nonetheless, the food is awesome, I’ll consider to re-purchase but just take-away rather than dine in.

Had a fantastic experience here. Thinking to bring my overseas friend to try various Indonesian cuisine and this restaurant really delivers. The fusion menus are not complicated and still stick to the root of Indonesian cuisine (spicy!), tried Nasi Goreng, Sate, Kerang Kampak, ikan, tahu - none fails! Recommended and definitely will remember this place

Amazing, they definitely set the bar high for modern Indonesian cuisine. Love every detail of this place. The menu may not be extensive but everything was so flavourful, serving size was perfect for sharing.

This restaurant is truly a remarkable one, located in what seems like a small coner on Walter Monginsidi street, right beside the Volvo dealership. But upon entering the place, it opens up into a rather spacious and cozy place. They offers selections of traditional indonesia food, selected seafood choices, all the way to dry aged beef wagyu as to cater quite a wide variety of delicasies. And believe me, they are all delicious. So supherb infact, that I only managed to capture photos of the interior, exterior, my beverage and a few appetizers. Once I realized, everything else are already gone. They also offers a selection of coffee, using Indonesian beans. They have milk based, filtered and even a few fancy ones if I'm not mistaken. Owh.....they also sells the beans for you to enjoy at home. The sofas are very comfortable, but seating for a party larger than 5 person is a bit tricky considering the table is rather small. Well.....perhaps it's just because we ordered too much. 😋 You can also opt an outdoor seating if you want to smoke or just enjoy the see through the meat dryaging and preparation room which offers a variety of beef cuts.

Great Indonesian food, and great service as well. I always order any of the nasi goreng, the boiled clams, and sate ayam Manado. I love the fact that some of the dishes can be ordered in half portion (because most likely I come and eat by myself). Even half portion is still generous and fulfilling. And when with some friends, I’d order rusip, and any of the seafood menu.

It's always delicious and I would recommend it to everyone. The seasoned grilled beef goes really well with the sauce. The steamed clams are also very tasty.

Fried rice portion is huge, sop buntut is pricey, with the meat doesn't seems fresh, slightly sour than the usual. Kangkung portion is too small. The coconut in the es kopyor has weird texture. Overall, not too satisfied with the food with the pricepoint.

Easily the best in service, foods, and atmosphere. Located in a corner of Wolter Monginsidi street, this place serves Indonesian foods but with a more luxurious touch. Believe me, when i say there are no bad foods here. All of the menus that i have ordered turned out great. Their fried rice are the best, wether seafood or using a beef's tongue, its just delicious. Their satay and squid is also a must order. Been here numerous times and will always return. Do keep in mind, that this restaurant doesn't have much place for parking spots and can get full quickly during peak hours. So plan ahead Definitely recommending this one!

Finally, a place that serves creative/more modern Indonesian food without overdoing the modernization nor disregarding the traditional roots of the food. We were a party of 7 and ordered 2 nasi goreng kambing, 1 beberuk, 1 rusip daun muda, 1 ikan kerapu bakar bujang gadis (with separated rica sambal), 2 ayam goreng (each portion was half bird so we basically ordered 1 bird), 1 iga bakar hitam manis, 1 sop buntut. We ended with es campur and es campur durian for dessert. From the kerupuk appetizer to every single carbs and protein dish, they served different types of sambal which I am very amazed with. Each of the sambal tasted different, and tasted really well-paired with the dish that they're accompanying. For me, the highlights of the order were the rusip, beberuk, nasi goreng kambing, and kerapu bakar bujang gadis. These dishes (except for the nasi goreng) are quite regional/niche and not easy to find in a typical Indonesian food restaurant in Jakarta. Daun Muda’s version of these dishes were well executed with great ingredients, techniques, and bold flavors. Prices are expensive, but with not too much choice of serious, modern Indonesian restaurants (at least that I know of) that elevates and reimagines regional dishes, I would still say that Daun Muda’s prices are worth their value.
