Very good Javanese food here. We enjoyed the goat satay and ox tail soup, while I also ordered the “Lontong Cap Go Meh” or mixed rice cakes. Fast service as well

The place is nice and serves a variety of great Indonesian meals. The ambient is friendly but can get a bit noisy when the place is full. The waiters were friendly and attentive.

This restaurant chain serves a modest variety of Indonesian cuisine. Food here is all above the average, you can definitely find the much better taste at street food stalls version out there. The spot is located at Kebon Sirih just behind of American Embassy and intersect with the famous Jalan Jaksa (Bule spots). Satay is a must try, there are a few version, sate ayam with peanut sauce, sate kambing with sweet soy sauce, sate lilit ala Bali, sate buntel (minced meat). Food presentation is great, an elevated street food style. Certain ethnic and core flavor elements are noticable. I loved their Lontong Cap Gomeh, Nasi Liwet, Nasi Uduk, Tongseng Kambing, Nasi Bali, and Gado-Gado.

A restaurant that serves delicious Indonesian, majority Javanese, cuisines. I think I can take any dishes here with satisfied. The entrance of this place is nice for old person like our mother. Will be more favourable if the ladies room manage more properly.

Affordable Indonesian food with many locations. I felt the satay was ok I was expecting the chicken skin to be crispy like the Japanese yakitori sticks but it’s chewy like what you’ll find on Hainan Chicken Rice just dosed with lots of sate sauce. Tahu Telor was too sweet for my liking and they ran out of beansprouts but the Nasi Bali was flavourful and great for a one person meal. My surprise finds were the pre meal crackers. I bought the Tempe, Paru and Belinjio crackers to go

Basicly, I love it. Food is amazing and waiting time was quite fast. Atmosphere was very noisy since many people ate there on lunch time. Not recommended when you want to eat in peaceful. I asked to servant to get soy sauce but it never delivered to me.

Soany items to choose from but my all time favorite: tahu telor bumbu kacang and gurame pesmol. Hard to find better Gurame pesmol. Super recommended!

This legendary satay restaurant has been around a long time, and serves the same delicious satay. And they serve beer too, so it's good for having a casual drink. The prices are not expensive.

Sate senayan never fails. Yummy indonesian food. The place is cozy but the service is rather slow i think. Overall recomended.

Sate Khas Senayan is one of the best place to have Indonesian cuisine. Though its name has "Sate" in it, sate is not the only culinary delights they offer. They offer various traditional dishes almost from every part of Indonesia, from Nasi Bali, Nasi Liwet, Nasi Uduk, Nasi Bakar, Soto, Sop and many others. This place is quite roomy though will only hold a limited amount of people due to Covid-19 health protocol restriction. It's usually almost full especially during lunch time. I had their Nasi Liwet for lunch. What came was more than I had expected. The meal was presented beautifully. Though Nasi Liwet is a common meal, "Sate Khas Senayan" has managed to elevate the dish up several notch. The plating has made "Nasi Liwet" feels classy. Loving today's lunch. My favourite is the fried chicken served in Nasi Kuning Campur. I chose Wedang Ronde as my drink today due to sore throat, and the ronde(s) are so tasty! Of course, the Sate Ayam always takes the spot here.

Good size place with many patrons when I arrived. I had vegetables in coconut milk and squid sate. I had sweetened Jawa tea. Everything was excellent. The service very good and everyone I dealt with was polite. There was both a seafood and non-seafood menu. It wasn't cheap but it was good.
