Room deco and furniture are old but functioning. All rooms are equipped with bathtub which may not be convenience to some guests, they don't have room without shower and without bathtub. Breakfast menu is very limited and not corresponded to the price. Better walk and cross to Grand Indonesia for breakfast or any meal, better and many choices.

This hotel has become my go-to choice when visiting Jakarta. It is located in a central area, and you can walk to Grand Indonesia, one of Jakarta's biggest malls. The rooms are spacious, apartment-like, equipped with a washing machine, a complete set of cooking utensils, an induction stove with a cooker hood, a water dispenser, a two-door refrigerator, a sofa, and even a hot tub in their smallest room. Although the hotel somewhat looks old, especially the exterior, it appears well-maintained. I love the smell of the aisles as well. I have stayed here on three different occasions and have mixed feelings about their breakfast. My first stay was quite good, but the last two stays were not too bad, just okay. The staff is friendly and very helpful; even the security guys brought me food from the ojek online to my room, which is not common in other hotels. Oh, one more thing! There's a tennis court where you can freely play when you stay in this hotel, even though the surface is quite bumpy, and the fence is too close to the sidelines. I had fun playing here with my friends!

👍🏻 great location, near major shopping malls, very spacious rooms with good deal price. 👎🏻 very slow service from the entire staffs since check-in to housekeeping service, had to call at least twice for everything. The breakfast food is the worst i've ever had in a 5-star establishment. The room is old and had issue with cleanliness, mine was really dusty.

I stayed here for 60 days. The food was so boring, everyday is the same. The gym is so outdated. The swimming pool does not smell nice because it was close to the sewers. I left my item in the room (a watch) and when I got there to pick it up, they took such a long time to get it, I had to wait for almost 30 minutes. Basically they dont take customer service seriously. Not to mention they treat me a thief when I came to pick it up. So gross. So disappointing, would not recommend the place to anyone.

This highly rated hotel has one side with a very dangerous sidewalk, as you can see from the photos. If you plan to walk from the hotel, you must be very careful!

We had the most amazing stay with Ascott Jakarta. I really recommend this hotel for those staying with a group of friends or family. The hotel was very clean! The lobby and the room smelled really pleasant. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and it made us feel really welcomed. We asked for extra towels, and the towels were given to us warm. The breakfast was simple, but it was enough for us. The hotel design overall is very elegant, classic, and efficient. What made everything even better was the location. This hotel is located right besides GI, meaning its location is really strategic. To my surprise, they also have on-site minimarket! Would 100% stay with them again when I visit Jakarta.

very nice place. pet friendly. staff are good people. clean and stylish breakfast (gran slam) is mid. 100k for 1 slice of bacon, not fully cooked whites eggs, laughable sourdough, cold greacy hashbrowns and ok tomatoes ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but there is Grand Indonesia mall just across the road with all kind of great food

I had a small accident nearby and on return to the hotel, the staff were fantastic. They thought I should be seen by a doctor. They provided a staff member to go with me. She also waited until after I had the results of the scan. The hotel didn't even let me pay for the taxi to and from the hospital. Two senior staff came to check that I was OK next morning. Amazing service!! Plus, I needed 5 separate rooms. A 3-bedroom apartment + 2-bedroom apartment gave me that for about the same price as a good hotel. I was with students and their reaction walking in was Wow and to take photos to send to their friends. What more can I say.

Central location and walkable distance to Plaza Indonesia. Pleasant stay at this fine facility with spacious suites. The breakfast spread was more than adequate, and the staff very courteous.

I had a great time stay at Ascott Hotel. The room is perfect and so cozy. The staff is very professional and helpful. During this pandemic, they are very restricted and I feel safe to stay at this place. Highly recommended to stay here.

This place is located right in between Thamrin City and Jakarta Grand Mall. Overall, I am pleasantly pleased. However, the furnishings need to be refurbished. Other than that, I will definitely return in future.

The man ahead disrespected my wife and shoved her and my dog into the staff elevator along with suitcases. In addition, I had to cancel two taxis because he convinced the taxi drivers that my things would not fit into the car and tried to do the same with my third taxi until I made a remark to him. As a result, we left in the third taxi and he was still smiling with mockery when we left. Please have a conversation with this person, he does not act in the interests of guests. The hotel itself is excellent and the other staff is very polite.

Nice comfortable rooms that are priced reasonably. The place is a little old and the decor a little antiquated. The gym has fairly old and under-maintained equipment. Food from room service leaves much to be desired though - food came cold and taste is underwhelming. Staff service at least is pretty decent.

great hotel great location with excellent service. We enjoyed staying for three nights at this lovely located hotel near the biggest mall grand Indonesia, and everybody was helpful. Specially, Miss NATAISH and Mr. Mohammad Aref. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. They would call us twice a day and ask us if we need any amenities. We cannot find this kind of service anywhere else We’re going to miss staying here and we are looking forward to our next trip .

Superb customer service at the Front Desk. Staff are very friendly. One female front desk officer even gave my 1 yr old son a cute Ascott stuff toy. Too bad I forgot her name but totally commendable. Also, hotel is just right across Grand Indonesia Mall. Nice hotel, very friendly staff and speaks good English.

Our siblings hv been patronising ASR everytime we visit JKT being situated nearby PI/GI n Thamrin shopping mall. Just love everything about this hotel so far! Very beautiful n clean. Big rooms, luxury. Update: 1 thing is breakfast ...the taste is off, egg benedict tastes like vinegar, fruit not fresh(ripe). It has been mentioned a lot and you really need to take care of this. It just doesn't taste good...at all The other, the horrible smell at the pool! It smells like sewage.

Located right in the centre of the city. Had a room with amazing view and very pet-friendly. Highly recommended for people who wants to bring their fur friend for staycation.

Big rooms with all the appliances to cook and wash. Great for business stay or longer stay. There is a shop just next to the breakfast location to stock up on necessities.

Superb service by the team! Super clean and cozy! ----- Stayed here in a 2-bedroom room, complete with a living room, kitchen, and even a washing machine! Everything is really clean, and provided for my family of 4. I brought my dog as well. Dogs need to enter through the backdoor, they can't enter through the lobby because of some religion issues. Breakfast was good, even though we've never got the croissants that we ordered 2x and always gotten a very dry sliced white bread 😂 Staffs were very polite, friendly and accomodating. 5 stars! Pool is very small, with the 120 cm pool being a bit bigger than the top 160 cm pool (which I figured is more around 170 cm. I'm 167 and still submerged completely when I touched the floor). The part of the fake rocks that is submerged in the pool is covered by green moss. Kinda icky. Room was very cold and cozy! I was staying in the 8th floor but I do wish I had gotten a higher floor. Within 5 minutes walking distance to Grand Indonesia (GI) Mall, which is right next door, on the opposite building. Very convenient. Overall 5 stars, but some aspects could be better 😊 Thank you, Ascott team!

Very nice and spacious apartment units with great prices. The location is central and accessible by all types of transportation as well as walking. The staff is professional and extremely helpful. After a few days in the hotel, my wife and I returned to Ascott Jakarta at the end of a busy trip around Indonesia because we simply loved it.

Great service, Great location - opposite of Grand Indonesia. Rooms are big, high ceiling. They have a proper dining table. Lost something valuable during the stay, they kept it and returned. Giving 4stars because Couch and arms chair are dusty, Pillows are not fluffy.

Located in the (culinary) heart of Jakarta. Walking distance to Thamrin City, Grand Indonesia, Plaza Indonesia, and to the joy of Car Free Day Sunday. It's quite old but very well-maintained, with spacious unit - specially the bedrooms and living rooms. We had the swimming pool for ourselves even on weekend. Best of our experience was with the staff/service. We visited with 2 young kids, and everyone from front desk, concierge, janitor, security, etc. was extra helpful ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

Family oriented hotel. Great, helpful and accommodative staff. Especially Fajiri in the admin. The hotel is nicely positioned opposite the expensive Grand Indonesian Mall on one side and less expensive Thamrin City Mall on the other. Breakfast was very mediocre.

Good location to stay , opposite Grand Indonesia Mall . All staff friendly, especially Aldo ( housekeeping) room very clean & tidy . He never missed to replenish shampoo and body wash everyday . He make me & my family feels very welcome with the towel deco. Very cute and creative . He also suggested us to try nasi padang serdahana, which 3 mins walks from hotel . Ascott Jakarta is a good Place to stay 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Recomended .

I enjoy the experience, smooth check in and check out, friendly and helpful staffs. The room is spacious and nice, although it smells a bit old. The bathroom is also very spacious, it has a bathtub, but unfortunately the shower is attached to the tub (which can be a bit inconvenient if u wanna have ur shower standing). The bed is super comfy, but the pillow is not fluffy (which makes my neck a bit sore when I woke up).

I’ve seen mixed reviews but as a frequent traveler with work, this place trumps everywhere else I’ve stayed. Apartments are huge, nice sized kitchen, double sink in the bathroom and the choice of a shower and bath. My kitchen was complete with a washing machine too. I’ve seen comments about the gym being outdated. Yes the machines are older, bought in 1995 to be exact from the stickers on them, but they are very well maintained. As someone who visits the gym on a daily basis, the gym here has everything you need, if not more and it’s often very quiet. The swimming pool is also lovely I honestly cannot recommend this place enough

We rented the 3bedrooms for CNY staycation. Place is spacious, services is excellent. Only complaint is the room have no window at all. Swimming pool layout is abit weird. Staffs and security is helpful and friendly. Location is directly behind GI and PI so its pretty convinient.

Great place if you're on business and want convenience. Breakfast definitely need improvement as I usually skip and only had eggs and fruits because rest of stuffs doesn't taste good even though there is variety. The pool is small and only good for dipping and not proper swim. The housekeeping staff - Aldo is exceptionally good. Compared to all my very frequent travel across many hotels that are 4-5 stars Aldo make sure the room is super clean and very attentive to detail. He is very polite and always carry a smile with him even if it's end of day cleaning so many rooms are getting tired. He will make sure the stay is comfortable whenever you walk into the room after his cleaning and makes you feel like home. He will be able to gauge what amenties you need after staying for one or two nights and he will ensure those amenties are in the right place and make sure everything is neat and in accordance to your preference. One of the rare good housekeeping staff of this hotel. Deserve a recognition by the hotel. Lastly this place has a fantastic GM Patrick who took swift action and pay special attention and spend his time to take care of all needs of loyal customer.
