One of the best 5 star hotel in Jakarta. Located in Jakarta's premium location, HI Jakarta roundabout. has the best view facing the welcome statue of Jakarta or facing Jakan Sudirman. It has very capable facilities, super professional service and is equipped with a restaurant with very delicious local and western flavors. Friendly service and surprises prepared by the team make guests very memorable to celebrate special moments. Breakfast has a very diverse variety of food with quite good taste, but the taste for 5 stars is a bit lacking in choice. Overall this hotel is highly recommended if you visit the city of Jakarta and want to enjoy the beauty of the city in the center of the city icon.

I rate the stay overall 4/5 I stayed here for a 7 day quarantine. Guest Service was very good overall. Staff are polite, helpful and competent. Everyone speaks good English and are more than capable of doing their jobs. Hotel Room was nice, clean, spacious. Good value for money. The only problem is the food. I’m a pretty big person and I found that the food portions were too small. For the price you’re paying, and the fact that you can’t order food from outside, I think that you should give more than enough food for guests to be satisfied. I’m a Chef and I thought the quality of the food was ok. There were no dishes that really appealed to me, and some that were not very good. The menu has a lot of options and I think that you should focus more on quality of the food options, rather than the quantity. Again, for the price your guests are paying, maybe a solution would be for you to offer snacks if guests are hungry in their room. I know room service is available, but it is an additional cost for guests. Offering something like some bread, french fries or any low cost snack available for guests at any time would be a good idea if you want your guests to be more happy with the food provided. Overall, very satisfied with everything except for the food.

Hi. Staying in MO Jakarta was very pleasing for both of us. The hotel room was spacious, the foods were delicious, and the hotel staff were very friendly. Overall experience exceeded our expectations. Thumbs up for everyone in MO Jakarta. The only drawbacks was that the hotel restaurants were closed due to government restriction during C-19 pandemy. Other than that, we savor our moment there. Thank you!

Extremely friendly staffs, some even remember my name when they saw me again 2 days later (I stayed for 4 nights). Having passion to help. Even the engineers were quick when responding to when I locked myself out. Truly world class service. However, the interior of the hotel may require some modernization to fit-in the current era of interior designs. Felt a bit like in the 90s. Other than that, two thumbs up for the hospitality.

Great experience overall! The property is very beautiful and modern and the staff are extremely helpful! The urban suite is very luxurious and club access made the trip a million times better with free meals and cocktails. When I had an issue with my mini fridge, they sent a repair team up right away and fixed the issue fast. They even ordered and coordinated the delivery of food from an outside restaurant free of charge. If that’s not service, idk what is. 10/10, would stay again in a heartbeat!

I had an outstanding stay at the Mandarin Oriental in Jakarta. The concierge's exceptional service stood out, going above and beyond to help me find cufflinks and ensuring my phone charger cord was promptly returned. The reception staff were incredibly polite, welcoming, and efficient, contributing to the overall positive experience. The room and bed were exceptionally comfortable, providing a perfect retreat. Additionally, the St. Andrew's Ball organized there was so much fun! We danced late into the night. Everything about my experience was perfect, thanks to the attentive staff and excellent amenities.

Every employee who we have met are very friendly and helpful. The access to the lounge is very nice and quite. The location is right in the city center and the room is very spacious. We will definitely come back if we are coming to Jakarta.

Especially, I loved to feel and sense of local ethnic culture from your hotel rather than just staying an international hotel franchise. The room is nice and very spacious. The bed is a bit soft. The service is quite good. Due to it location, next to the famous fountain in Jakarta, you can hear traffic noise through our room windows on the 19th floor.

Just had a very pleasant stay at Mandarin Oriental Jakarta, and let me tell you, it was an experience worth sharing :) From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service from the entire staff, and there were a few standout individuals who made my stay truly memorable: Vollyn, Mathias, Tami, Indi, and Stephanie. 🙌 They went the extra mile to ensure that my parents' anniversary celebration was nothing short of extraordinary. The Oriental Suite we stayed in was beautifully decorated, and they even hand-drew the mirror with sweet and congratulatory words. And guess what, they also surprised us with a lovely hand-drawn frame along with our photos! It made our celebration even more memorable. 🥳 So, to sum it all up, warm and attentive staff, incredible room decorations, delicious food, and the cherry on top, the amazing club lounge access. I booked a deluxe room, but unfortunately, there was an issue with the door and bathroom. I informed them and they offered me to change the room. I was expecting the change was to another deluxe room. But, omg, they upgraded me to a suite and the room was amazing. The staff is friendly. The service is superb and top notch. The experience at your hotel was excellent, from the beginning to the very end. The service quality exceeded my expectations by far and I can honestly say that it is, in my humble opinion, on the same level as your sister hotel in Bangkok, which is in my view the highest possible praise. To get a room-upgrade to a fantastic suite didn't make the experience worse;-). Amazing experience here. Probably the best hotel staff in the world. The warm welcome is just the start. The rooms were large and well spaced. Great bath and showers. Food was fantastic. Good coffee. Malls are very nearby and easy walking distance. Make sure you turn left when exiting the hotel to get to the mall. The staff though are what make this hotel magnificent. Wonderful.

We had moved from a four stars accommodation to here. It has been a much more pleasant experience here! The room has a beautiful view. Well thought design and layout. How things are placed makes sense. It feels clean and well maintained. No visible stain anywhere. The staff speak English well. They are friendly and observant. They placed an extra pair of kid size bathroom slipper for our little one when they did housekeeping the next day. ❤️

Wow, Wow, Wow. From start to finish everything was above expectations from this hotel. There is absolutely nothing that I could complain about and some of the simple touches just went even beyond my expectations. I wish I could give 6 stars. Firstly we got an upgrade (which of course is always nice), but it was more just the little bits where the staff went above and beyond that made the difference. Been years since my last visit to MO, and it is no fail in maintaining the same quality. Time indeed eats the facilities, but with the overall experience being clean and hygienic, I do not have something to complain about. For information, my allergy can create problems when staying in alien spaces. Take my family along this time, and the experience remains the same as I had years ago. Keep up the good work on maintaining quality, truly came from discipline in procedures.

I require high end hotels to have higher performance than budget hotels. In the case of the Mandarin Oriental it meet and exceeded any performance standards. Everyone knew my name and greeted me. They arranged reservations. The food was excellent.

Our stay at the Mandarin Jakarta was incredible and was made even better by the thoughtful staff at the hotel. The hotel itself is the height of elegance and luxury, with great facilities including the gym and pool. Our room was beautiful and always kept impeccably clean by the housekeeping. The staff did everything they could to make our stay even better by leaving lovely notes, providing bookmarks for my books, offering suggestions for my trip etc. We celebrated my partners birthday here and the staff did so much to make it special - including providing cakes upon arrival, notes on our mirror and even a cake at breakfast! A special thanks to Tami and Salvina for making me and my partner a tag for my travel backpack - it is such a personal gift and we will keep them forever. I can’t thank the staff enough. I will definitely be returning to stay at the MO group.

No dustbin in the toilet, we have to asked first. No tissue in the room, so we get one from the vanity room and we asked for more the guest service. But overall our stay is very2 enjoyable. Definitely will come back again. Thank your for the very excellent hospitality and friendly staffs.

Luxury 5 star hotel. Very attentive and helpful staff. Very professional and efficient team. Everyone from the security staff, the door attendants, the reception staff, the concierge, the gym staff and the restuarant staff made me feel very welcome staying in the hotel. Clean room. I made this reservation on behalf of my parents as they were in Jakarta in January to attend a wedding. And it so happened that my mum's birthday had just passed, so I thought it'd be a nice belated present for her. I am really impressed with, and appreciated of, the room & concierge team for helping to pull of the mini birthday surprise in my parents' room, complete with a really cute birthday cake towel and a few photos decorating the place. Warm hearted hospitality i never experienced before. We had spent two nights in Jakarta. A night at MO and another at a well known neighboring hotel. On our next trip to Jakarta it will be two nights at MO. We celebrated our daughters first birthday. All the efforts of the team deserves a special page of memories in our family journal. Salvina, Venny, Elvina and Tami gave us such a beautiful experience. Beyond our expectations. It touched us. The room were spotless, room service perfect, everything in the room worked well. Special points for the high pressure on the taps. Filling up the bath was quick. It helped us to bath our baby girl.

Staff named Maya provided me with a luggage holder upon seeing that my suitcase is placed on the floor. Appreciate the gesture. Room was kept very clean. One slight improvement to be made to ensure that room is ready upon check in. When I went to the room, the staff of an opposite gender was still getting the room ready.

All are excellent, the service are delivered in a high standard of quality. Its all 10 out of 10. But, if I have to provide feedback to increase the greatness, I think you can consider to make the ambiance brighter especially in the living room area and also the glass of the window is quite dirty, it little bit bother the city view. Adding kids club and kids pool also will be good ideas. Last, as a conclusion, I will repeat this experience for sure. Great job!

I have enjoyed a stay once or twice in a MO facility in Washington DC (which is no longer an MO property), at which time I learned that MO hotels are among the best hotels in the world. My stay at the Jakarta MO was a wonderful experience during which I was most impressed with the efforts of the hotel staff to meet my every request, some of which were indeed special requests. The quality and excellence of service at MO Jakarta cannot be overstated and it must be by design! This type of service has won my loyalty and I intend to stay with MO not only on my future planned trips to Jakarta but whenever I travel to other MO locations.

The Services was excellent. The rooms are neat and comfortable, the ambience was perfect. Mandarin Hotel location is on the bussiest area in Jakarta. So the noises from outside can be heard from inside but it doesn't made our stay experience become bad one

There were some glitches from the Club staff on Club benefits, and it was really disappointing. But Grace from Guest Relation fixed this quickly by setting up a magnificent lunch at Li Feng. The service is beyond expectation. The hotel staff help finding a lower level room and escort my parents there after the earthquake stops. Just in case if the earthquake continue, it is easier to evacuate my parents. The wifi is super fast, with super big smart TV.

Fantastic experience. Every interaction conveyed care and hospitality. Multiple extra touches of special welcome felt genuine. What made this all the more impressive is that they were fully booked and yet they still thoroughly conveyed that customized attention. Beautiful property adorned with tasteful and diverse art. Breakfast and room service cuisine all delicious and fresh. Deluxe room was nicely sized with ample storage, very comfy bed and bedding, and large lovely bathroom. It was wife and my first stay at a Mandarin Oriental and we will certainly return.

MO have perfected the Jakarta hotel quarantine to make it as smooth and comfortable as possible. Thank you to Shara for such a friendly welcome after a long journey. Room was spacious and the Wifi is fast and reliable.

Transfer from the airport to quarantine was fast and flawless. I have very enjoyable stay at MO Jakarta. The room was very spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the office desk was very useful to get my work things done. The room, front desk and restaurant services were excellent. The bentos are good, but it can be tiring when staying in quarantine for 10 days. Perhaps consider refreshing the menus weekly. I appreciate the Christmas lunch and the opportunity to try the Cinnamon buffet at the last day after clearing the quarantine. I found that I had to make the room very cold (19 C) to get comfortable under the blanket. Maybe consider providing summer cotton blankets? The pillows and the bed were excellent. Overall I’m impressed with the hospitality at MO Jkt. Thanks very much for looking after us during the quarantine.

We did our 5 days 4 nights repatriation / quarantine package at the Mandarin Oriental back in October. It was an excellent experience, starting from pickup at the airport, checking in, facilities in the room, and the view (we had the monument view room)! Internet connection was as speedy as claimed (even up to 118mbps). The meals were really good. Absolutely recommended! PS: We loved it so much that we decided to extend our stay after the quarantine. So I have to add that the pool, gym, and breakfast buffet are also great! Plus a walking distance from Grand Indonesia ;).

Best hotel. Cleanliness is so perfect. Love the bundaran HI scenery from our room. Suitable for family with children. Hotel service is good at implementation of CHSE. Very obedient. The swimming pool depth in this hotel is 1.8meters but there's a life guard for reminding you about time limit (since covid only 1 hour/person) and safety of course.

wonderful, I was looking forward to this night in this hotel. dinner at the Lyon restaurants was good. the room is big and clean. very comfortable, as you would expect from a 5 star hotel. the staff is friendly and tries to correct any mistakes. the breakfast is with a lot of choice of food. the hotel is located in the center, within walking distance to the mall. compared to other western big hotel, very good…. thanks for the experience

Indeed it was so enjoyable staying in a very spacious and clean room. The children were amazed when entering the room which has a different layout (kind a new to us) compared to some of 5 star hotels we've ever stayed. Checking-in into the room and out of the hotel were done kindly and professionally with care. Thank you!

The best part is member's benefit, I can do early check-in and late check-out, only very few hotels that will offer such perks. I just had awesome stay there. Can't wait to be back!

Oh wow everything has definitely exceeded my expectations. The food? Superb -- and at times, divine. The service? I was treated like a king. Everything was immediate, all my special requests catered to the best of the staff's capabilities. The room? Spotless -- and the bed is so, so soft. So we decided to take Mandarin Oriental as our wedding venue. And it was one of the best decision that I ever made. Indonesians have a thing against "old" hotel. I find this hotel to be very clean, experienced staff in service and standard. Got upgraded to higher room with club access. Now work puts me here for our trip. Great walk to MRT and the shopping malls across, restaurants, or just walk in the nice area. Safe.

Can't wait to return to Mandarin Oriental! My mandatory quarantine felt more like a restful staycation. The staff treated me with joy, warmth, and enthusiasm. It made a huge difference to spend 8 days in a room where everything works optimally and with a panoramic view of the city. Meal times were always special due to the excellent menu choices, the in-room dining menu, and again the hospitality of the staff.

Really a first class establishment that boasts good restaurants, well equipped rooms and an excellent staff. Location wise, it is walking distance to the Grand Indonesia and other malls. Staff is welcoming and helpful. The club lounge also provides a quiet and scenic view of the area.

Everything about this hotel is fantastic except the noise from outside. It only has single glazed windows and the traffic noise is non-stop. We were on the 20th floor with an amazing view and the staff were the most well-trained, customer friendly that I have come across. Without exception they were always looking for ways to go the extra mile.

This hotel may not be the most modern and new hotel in Jakarta, but it certainly the warmest. What I mean with warm is the experience. You will feel the warmth of your own home here, the staff were exceptional, the facility is sparkly clean and in good condition, the food were great. Recommended for people who want to feel at home right in the center of Jakarta.

The service and hospitality was exceptional. my experience staying here was very impressive. All staff welcomed us warmly, especially Ms. Tami, she was so nice, my son remember her for giving him popcorn. my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary, Ms. Tami & Ms. Grace set up our room very nicely. they even gave us a photo that they took on the day of our arrival as a souvenir.

overall this was my second stay at the Jakarta property. Service was excellent. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. special mention has to be made about Billy, Farhan at from desk who would always go above and beyond to assist guests. The chef at breakfast really went out of the way to accommodate special dishes with my dietary requirements. That really felt special. When landed there was a slight issue with the concierge, who was supposed to arrange the VIP service at the airport which was not present. I called the hotel after much difficulty and it was promptly resolved. I guess mix up like these can happen. the room manager miss ria cam and apologized to me while checking in. she was very professional and accommodating and understanding. I was very happy with her professional and curious attitude. Rooms and location of this property are amazing and you cannot go wrong. Lastly some places of improvement : 1. the room did not have any laundry bags which I had to ask for separately, it is a simple thing that is expected to be in a five star hotel room. 2. the kettle in the room wasn't working, I mentioned it to the house keeping staff who assured me that they would look into it but it was not changed and I didn't bother following up again. these small things are expected to be checked in the rooms , specially for a hotel of mandarin standard. they can improve here.

I revise my review since hotel team already contacted me throught their manager and ask for apologize for the inconvenience during check in process. Besides that, I appreciate the gym and fitness facility and staff who on duty there, they are very nice and proactive. For the view and scenery itself, frankly speaking MO has the best view of monument in the center compared with other hotel in that area, but they don't have direct access to mall (you have to across the road to the mall). Overall i appreciate to hotel service to solve the problem. Breakfast is nice but the variety of food is not too much. I love they provide a lot of fresh juice anyway.

One of the best either authentic hotels in Jakarta especially Hotel Indonesia Roundabout/Circle (Bundaran HI). Great access to public transport and has a great parking space which is Mall Standard. Need more enhancement in Food Quality but still niche and fancy. Nice Job!

Everytime we stay at Mandarin, we always have a wonderful time. Our last stay was no exception. We were there to celebrate a special day and we definitely made the right decision. The staff were exceptional as always, they were very accommodating and also very thoughtful. They definitely made our special day even more memorable. Other than that, the in room dining was fantastic and it's one of the best reasons to stay there.

Not to mention that the rooms are spacious, very clean, the food is good etc. Especially the super friendly and talkative crew in the 21st floor make you want to come back asap and stay longer.

The hotel facilities, staff and services exceeded expectations. We were very pleased. Proximity to central roundabout was visually stunning, but a bit noisy. Two first class restaurants. The very best professional staff. This is what a world class luxury hotel looks like.
