I got an issue for my card access and door access, the experience to used the card was horrible, I need to swipe a card many times until the door can be opened, already swapped with new one but still same. The water-heater is not really hot, it just warm. Curtain seems never washed, there are so many dust and some stain. Wifi has good speed but not stable. The only was good just a bed and AC, comfortable. Thanks

It's not an old hotel but feels that way. Maintenance can truly be improved here. Kitchen management HAS to be better, too. My lunch order (vegetable au gratin) came after one hour, and the quickest to appear was the chicken sandwich my colleague ordered, but even that took almost forty minutes to come! Some of us, myself included, had to leave before the orders arrived as we had to go back to our meeting. The next day, apparently learning from the previous experience, the restaurant staff set up our orders -- which we sent to the kitchen in the morning before our meeting started -- one hour BEFORE our lunch time at 12, so by the time we arrived downstairs at the restaurant we got our lunch orders ready to eat but COLD. A friend ordered tom yum soup -- imagine having to eat that. The rest of us had to try to enjoy our cold steak and grilled fish -- we didn't ask them to reheat the food as we were worried it might take them too long!

Never make wedding event here. Sales and GM not accomodating AT ALL. Supposed to be a one time memorable wedding event, but they find WAYS to remove the memorable from the wedding. Please improve. Ever since new wedding sales staff joined, every response is, CANNOT! Not recommended for any wedding event.

It was a worsted experience, usually your room key working just one time. For the 3 days I changed key 12 times, because hotel really old . It’s definitely not 5 stars hotel . 3 or 4 yes maybe , if some dishes finished in breakfast u can waiting aroun 1 hour before they bring new . And if U wanna come back after breakfast U will stop on the each floor because managers who check the room push lift button in each floor on your way . After it U need to do this time couple more times because your key not working for sure . In Jakarta many place where U can find better services then here .

Bathroom is bad. Water slushes, not properly drained, when taking shower. Most electric outlets are bad, difficult to charge handphones or computer. I tried to use different outlets but none works except the one spared for the kettle. The lift is difficult to operate. I had to try with my room card many times before it worked, moving up and down to other floors before finally succeeding to select the floor I intended to go. No lift to and from the car parking basement.

This is the perfect Hotel for a weekend getaway in, I had a wonderful experience at the Manhattan Jakarta. We went to the rooftop bar and had an amazing time. The atmosphere and service were great. Definitely a must do if you are looking for a good time. The staff mas Aji, mba Dina and all great and really eager to help, Thank you! Will highly recommend to my colleagues💙

I stayed here on peak season the new year eve, the price are quite expensive but reasonable because of the special occasion. However, the hotel was not my favorite, here are my reviews after stayed for two days: (+) the staff are friendly, the security, the receptionist, the swimming pool receptionist are friendly. (+) we order the room service and the food is delicious even the price is a little bit pricey but i think it worth the price (+) love the pool, the view was amazing (-)However the cleaning service are responding lately, we ask them to clean our room because we are leaving for 3 hours, after when back the room still dirty. Then we ask the receptionist to order the CS to clean the room, we must wait for another 30 minutes before they clean it, but all of it because the peak season high load, and they kind of short of staff. (-) when we first came, the receptionist (it was a man) who serve me was really polite and nice, but another receptionist (maybe his superior or something) yells at him, i think it was unapproriate to do that in front of the guest.

I would not believe the good rating because they literally asked one of us to give a good rating for an upgrade. The worst hotel experience I had so far. I had a smelly room, then noisy room, then a room without working power sockets. They also had the audacity to ask me to pay for upgrade if I want to switch room. Other hotel would talk about compensating the inconvenience, only Manhattan would ask the customer to pay for inhabitable room.

My first experience staying here. Very cozy atmosphere. Employees are friendly and welcoming. Room condition is good and clean. Complete room facility service. Food and drinks are plentiful and delicious. The atmosphere around the hotel is lively and not boring. Travel distance is quite affordable from the airport and does not take a long time.

1..The rooms were extremely dirty. 2. There was dust in the rooms. 3..AC was never working. 4. The locking system of the door is super poor and at times door could be opened without card 5. Buffet was good. 6. Fridge not working.

The hotel is located in a very convinient location. Malls, Offices everthing is nearby, the hotel also has a rooftop Indian restaurant which is like cherry on top. Chef Siddharth is really friendly and overall all the staff even at the reception Ms. Gia very friendly and exceptionally helpful, always ready to go that extra mile. Overall good value for money.

A GOOD EXPERIENCE, a week ago I stayed at this hotel, there was a delay in the check-in process so they gave us a welcome drink in the hotel lounge. The interesting is that the staff in their lounge are very pleasant, I also met a man whose name I forgot and Yvonne (I only remember her name) they were both very pleasant, offered us drinks and really cared about our situation because we still couldn't get a room. they both also offered and explained some of the cocktails they had, shoutout to Yvonne, you have succeeded in making my husband and I have a good impression while in Manhattan. we promise to come back!!

The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at! I have stayed at dozen of hotels in Jakarta. This was on the top of the list of best experiences ever. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine especially to Mas Aji and Joko, and also Mr. Pram as a GM and a humble Leader that treat us perfectly and i think this was a big plus. What a disaster hotel, will never go there again and we would like to warn everyone not to go there. First when we arrive no one at the door to take our luggage and we had to wait for 10 minutes in the rain next to the luggage until someone came to us after trying to find a receptionist to help us Second the reception people have no idea what they are doing Then we went to the room and the baby cot was not setup and we had to wait with the door open for 15 minutes for the housekeeping to setup the bed, no pillows or cover for my baby boy The room is completely dirty and not acceptable for ONE star hotel with all the pictures attached, I hope there was minus stars to give them - 5 I went to the reception to ask for the manager on duty and all what he did was I will inform the manager tomorrow as no one here, what a disaster I request to speak with the GM 3 times and for 3 days he was not available and no one came back to us The following day we went out from 9am till 7pm and when we came the the room was not even clean or setup and not even one towel to use, I had to go down to the reception to ask for clean towels as no one answer the phone when we tried to call 5 times. The entire hotel is dirty and most of the area are closed and been left with no attention or even clean, no staff to do anything and the one available has no idea about hotel business Not in any way recommend and we will never be back there again

I think this is my worst experience staying at 4-star hotel. The hotel is clean, cozy, the views was amazing, but they didn’t provide mineral water. I am not sure why.

Worst check in experience ever. I should register and queue three times in reception. First I need to queue just to register and pay the deposit. They said that the room still unavailable although it's 2pm already and we should wait and queue again to get the room number. Then after got the room number we need to queue again to get the key because the room is not ready yet. It takes 2.5 hours check in process just to enter the room. Definitely not recommended. The hotel also old and dirty.

I'm sorry as much as i'm rooting for you because of childhood memories i shared with this hotel (my dad often brought us there for work session and its not like what i remembered much today) from the last check in i had yesterday i have to give review as exactly as it is because i hope this will give Manhattan management some insights as well as for other visitors. The access card for lift and room is often error. Had to change room once for it. And then the day after change, i still had to come to receptionist to repair the card and i have to stay in the lift for some time because the card is not working.. I didnt get soap for my room. And i was too tired to ask because of the card problem.. And when i come for receptionist and asked them to repair the card for several times, they didnt even say sorry for inconvenience.. i understand maybe you guys are tired, but i think also that's the basic thing for a front officer? But it's fine for me though. This is just a question and might be an advise from a friend..p Please repair the basic first.. i understand you guys and other travel related business have been impacted by travel restriction here and there and other stuff.. but can you please sustain the basic.. thank you :) I have quite a pleasantful visit and memory recall though :) The food is good.. the room is standard for the price.. thank you, nonetheless.

We like this hotel and while there is a chance will come back. Price is reasonable. Room is fine, breakfast is excellent. This hotel also near shopping center reachable by footwalk. Unfortunately we have no time to swim during our stay therefore don't know how is it.

Cleanliness can be improved. Bed quality to be improved. Breakfast variety is lacking. The desk phone in the room was not working and when the technician checked, he informed me to just dial '0' for any section.

Stayed here for 1 night with my family. The room provided 2 water bottles, and the extra bed came with the amenities. However, the ac is not cool at all, the room is dirty, and the hot water is not working. The worst “5 star” hotel room I ever had in my whole life.

Overall just ok for this class of hotel, because the room is too small for executive triple, no sofa, bad electrical setting, bathroom also small without separation between bath tub & shower so we showering inside bath tub. Slow respom from staff when i ask for iron, towel even a cup of coffee while breakfast. Good things is many choices for breakfast menu, nice lobby and nice doorman & security very helpfull. hotel facilities are old Changed linen 3 times but to no avail, all of them were not clean. The bed sheet had blood stain and pillow case, towels were also dirty The hotel staff was friendly but still, I do not want to stay here another day. The view is a city view and the room can be noisy if your room is near the road. Room card for the elevator and the room, did not work several times. Breakfast was fine and lotte mart is nearby. This cannot be a 5 star hotel.

I stayed in Mars double room, the room is awesome. It's quite spacious, I think around 62m2. My favorite is the bathroom. The bathtub is unique and it has a view of Jakarta city. You can close the window next to the bathtub if you want :). The service from receptionist, the restaurant staffs are all nice and professional. The breakfast spread is great and yummy. I didn't manage to try the swimming pool as it's quite packed with kids that weekend. The fitness centre is fine, too. Location is great as it's just 2-3mins walk to Kuningan city mall. I'd definitely recommend this hotel! Thanks, Manhattan hotel team for the nice stay!

Best choice hotel when you are traveling to JKT for biometric VISA appointment. The location is just next to Kuningan City Mall, you just need to walk to go there. Spacious room, best city view from the bathub ( I got Mars & Venus room, very recommended!) . A lot of variety for breakfast, and you also can get Ice Cream ! Overall satisfied with the service.

I stayed with my wife, the service was very good. Starting from the receptionist until I checkout. The rooms are clean, the hotel location is strategic. The breakfast is very good (I happen to be Muslim, and the meal starts at 03.00), and the service is very good.

I was given a smoking room even though I booked a non-smoking room. Offered aromatherapy solution, but I waited for more than 30 mins in the room without anyone coming. I had to go out and promised the aromatherapy should be done while I'm outside. Once back, I don't feel any difference, the room still smells so bad of cigarette. Next they offer to ozone the room which I appreciate. Checking with the room service if that's safe with me in the room, they mentioned it's ok. Double checking in the internet suggest that ozone is harmful to breathe in even 4 hours after treatment, so I decide to turn off the machine and ask the staff to do the treatment the next morning when I leave the hotel. The bathmat was also not provided initially, so I had to call for room service to get the bathmat. The next morning, the hot water ran out and I had to bathe with cold water.

The ballroom looked very old, the tablecloths were full of stains, and looked like years-old. I liked the dimsum. The meeting packs were cheaper than average meeting room nearby. The buffet was good. They had plenty options, from Indonesia (mie ayam, sop tulang, siomay, gado-gado, etc), western (pasta, grilled beef, etc), Indian, dessert. Ice cream, etc. The restaurant staff needed to handle full restaurant better.

The room was okay with city skyline view facing toward Rasuna Said street and Malaysia Embassy and it has artdeco architecture with modern minimalist style furniture and it was kind a okay for this recent time. The smells of orchids was very impress in every corner of lobby and elevators

All staffs are friendly and helpful. A great variety of food to choose during breakfast time, food is nice. I saw Gia, duty manager, every morning at the cafe, taking care of details including food quality, food variety and customer experience. Would definitely stay here again for My trip to jakarta

I have been coming to the manhattan for many years always returning due to very pleasant stays. Unfortunately on this occasion the service has slipper. Check in took almost 15mins, coffee and food was cold and the room was dated and shabby with a cracked TV screen. Sad to see but maybe covid and the difficulty of hiring staff as created this drop in standards

I am a little disappointed to see an average room setting for a reputable hotel like Manhattan Jakarta. TV was old-fashioned in the LED era and not even fixed to the wall. My biggest disappointment was to see the rotting toilet door and the toilet door lock handle hanging loose from its fixures. The biggest WIN aspect of my stay was the food and its variety, the welcoming staff at the entrance. Coffee at the lobby bar/restaurant was good and highly recommended.

Great Hotel for Business and family. I stayed with my family and a child, this hotel have the facility that we need especially nice swimming pool its very cool on the rooftop with beautiful scenery and friendly for children. Good place to stay for business , right in middle of the city. They have sport center and swimming pool as well. We can do sport walk around the hotel. The pedetrian track was good, nice atmosfere in the morning or evening. They served me good meal for breakfast, so many option you could try.

Spacious room with nice view in the center of Jakarta, the breakfast buffet variation is sufficient. Very near to Kuningan City & embassies so quite convenience if you need to arrange for visa

Got this hotel at a great price also an upgrade from Exec.King Room to Mars & Venus Suite. Really enjoyed our staycation during pandemic. Room was dated yet It was spacious, comfortable bed, great city view, all amenities you would need plus more. Loved the bathtub with city view in the large bathroom. Great strategic location. Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and hope to return after their renovation, use the pool and other facilities next time.

Hygiene and cleanest is number one priority need to be taking care off ....especially in pool area so dirty ....bfast need more variety on f and b ....GM hv a lot of list need to be check ....

Good location & near to the shopping mall, the room is so good n clean for suite type room. Check in process is taking too long, i think the system just had a problem. for receptionist or front office officer, they need to learn to improve hospitality and be more friendly to guests.

The hotel room is old. Hot water broken. Breakfast dishes are not good. Tasteless fried rice. Menu is not varied. Not according to the price offered 2 million per night. It's enough just to stay there once.

Me and my family very happy to stay in Ambassador Suites Manhattan Hotel. The room is soooo comfy, clean, great view with city lights and the infinity pool really nice. And also staff service very helpfull 😃✨

First things first. I originally booked the cheapest room available for around 700k. Upon check in at around 8pm(It was a long day, so i checked in late) they told me that the standard rooms that were available were the smoking rooms left. I’m a non-smoker so i get bothered with a the smell of smoke lingering, but i was like, fine, its alright i guess. But then, out of nowhere, the receptionist gave me an upgrade to the Manhattan Suite🤩🤩. That literally made my day!!!! Thank you soo much manhattan hotel. Everything is on-point here. The facilities, room-service, price, staff. Thank you and a miliion thank youuuu. Oh and dont forget to prepare 500k deposit. They’ll return the money upon check out!!! Once in a lifetime experience….

Stayed at 27th floor at the corner room. The view was amazing, having baths at night with city light views are especially relaxing. But during my stay there were dirty rooms left open on the same floor, so it's a bit unsightly to see. Check out was very crowded on Jan 1st.

Super wonderful experience. I got a special price from traveloka, and couldn't be happier. The room was clean and comfortable. But unfortunately, due to this pandemic some of the speciality restaurant was close. But above all, the crew was beyond amazing, helpful and super friendly. I'm gonna book another time. A relaxing long weekend for my wife and I, my wife needing to get away for a few days. The staff were attentive and friendly, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the facilities were more than satisfactory. One or two little niggles, but overall a very pleasant stay.

Breakfast is good! But i have to leave some comments for the accommodation. I made reservation in Agoda before check in. I was told receptionist can't process my reservation even though i showed receptionists my reservation number. Finally there was no choice, i had to pay offline because it was very late in night and this cost nearly 40 minutes. Had a sleep on one TINY bed without taking shower because No Hot water even through pouring water long time. Dust on the shelf and musty smell.

All staff are really friendly. Fast check in and delicious food. Cozy restaurant and cozy lobby. The things that need to be fixed, the room without carpet. Only one electric plug in the room near TV. The shower curtain has stain black ink. Usually shower room with glass door.

It's not my first time here, but it's very bad experience for this time. Update : I got contact from Guest relation officer, very nice person with apologizing. I hope everything will be solve ! 1. I found cockroach inside toilet in my room with a bit wet floor before i used. (Suddenly inform at front, she just check but no change the room) 2. In bath tab still remain long hair and dirty. 3. WIFI cannot use all 3 devices. (Incorrect password shown) engineer of hotel come in room to support without take shoes off 🥲 and walk inside the room in front of bed. Until now i cannot use WIFI. It's may effect from Covid pandemic, but you should renovate and improve before restart.

I enjoyed my one night stay at this hotel. The check-in process was quick, they gave me coupons for welcome drink, wifi password and 2 room keycards. The Ups: (1) The room was huge; AC, lights, water, etc works perfectly. (2) Nice touch with the microwave, three sinks, La-z-boy, big safety box, and jacuzzi! (3) The facilities; pool, gym, restaurant, sauna, etc were great. (4) Wi-fi was strong, able to watch youtube and netflix with no probs --from laptop. (5) They have smokers friendly rooms. The Downs: (1) the room was a bit dated; the furniture, wallpaper, color, and style. (2) The TV was old fashioned with very limited channels. (3) Selections for in-room dining was very limited. (4) There is no direct elevator access to parking lot in the basement. (5) The view from the room was fantastic, but they should consider automatic curtain opener.

The room is spacious, even the interior is old style but clean and neat. The city view is beautiful. I love the infinity pool, even small but enjoyable, the scenery’s also gorgeous. The breakfast has varieties menus, also delicious but it would be great if there are some cakes like cheese cake, chocolate cake or other for the desert. It would be perfect! Recommended for budget hotel at Kuningan.

When you think of important things in a high end hotel, not running out of hot water on a weekday morning, and having elevators that make it regularly from the upper floors to the lobby and back again probably aren't the first things that sitting to mind, because they're such basic functions. But Manhattan Hotel could not get these right. Also take note that although they hotel location is good, getting a car is an extended nightmare because the entrance is complicated to get too and cars cancel pickups when they can't figure it out.

Manhattan Hotel Jakarta located in Kuningan area this is not a new hotel. It's quite a strategic location for business travel. During my visit there's many foreign tourist stayed in this hotel. The price rate is not too expensive beliin 1 million. There's also meeting room here. The food is OK. The waitress is helpful but rather slow response.

The location and service is great, as was the breakfast. I would definitely stay here again, 4 stars instead of 5 as the room I was in was a bit tired, some renovation is due. Still it is refelected in the price. Recommended

I used to stay in this hotel in mid 2000's, it was a very decent hotel back then. I'm not sure is it because the pandemic or something else, but the hotel seems a bit off. First thing you notice when you enter the room is the smell, the old grandma's house kind of smell, something like that. The carpet & furniture didn't help much either. And the bed, it's way to firm form me. Forget about taking a hot shower, i took a late night shower and the water was just lukewarm, regardless i open the hot tap at max. At this point there was no use having a bathtub in my room. Breakfast. This could be a turning point, but again, it doesn't. They delivered breakfast set to your room, that's a good thing to do, but the taste was so generic, i belive they prepared it a while a go so it was a bit cold when it was delivered. Nevertheless they still have a large room, a good location near malls, and a fast elevator. For the same amount of money you can get a newer hotel at a better location. It will be a smaller room though.

Check-in was smooth. Room looks dated but everything works and in order. Food quality for room service was less than satisfactory. Mini bar was not available even it was included in the booking, it was later stocked up only upon asking. Daily breakfast was fine but food quality can be improved. Checkout was just as good as check-in. All staff members were polite and professional. Overall, it was a good experience during the stay of 4 nights.

Was a fine establishment in south jakarta. Staffs were friendly, check in was fast. Room was spacious although i can tell its already aging. Bed is big and quite comfy, amenities are great. Generally everything was fine.

While check in, there's some queues, but it's okay. Facilities was good. Welcome drink, swimming pool, sauna, gym bar, cafe, and so on. Came here with my family, and the location was good, in the middle of Kuningan business area, so you can easily access everything here. For the room, I think for 5 stars hotel wasn't so good. The furniture and bathroom was old, some dust while check in, there's also smell in the AC when checked in to the room, but it vanished along the time. The corridor was very smelly, like bathroom smell. I didn't know what happened there. Also, the card reader in the lift not so sensitive. The room wasn't so large, but the view was great. You can see city view to mega kuningan or Rasuna Said. Staff were nice and helpful, room service and housekeeping were good, I requested some stuff, responds time around 10-15 minutes.

Amazing food. PERIOD. Service is always perfect, food is on point (specially their Indian food are the besssttt) , the city view from our room on 26 floor are awesome and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. My kids looove the tent tht been set up in the room also their kids playground near check in counter is very helpful for guest with two kids under 3 yo like me, at least my kids won’t be bored or hassled me during check in time 🤭 Always looking forward to this place with my family ❤️

This hotel is one of the best I have ever experienced with. The price, good location, good food good facilities; nonetheless, staff was full of hospitality. They always give great smiles at me. Now I love Indonesian people so much. Two thumbs up!!
