The room is nice because it's new and also spacious. However they don't have anyone to deliver things that you order online to your room. It's not even midnight or 2AM, it's still 9PM. So far, from all 5 stars hotel, especially a global chain in Indonesia, this is a new experience where you can't have anyone to deliver things to your room. Unless hotel that have restriction to order food from outside like Mulia Jakarta

Almost perfect hotel. Services are good, foods both quality and varieties are good, hotel atmosphere is good, and location is great. The hotel is connected to 3 malls, which is a convenient to find foods and stuffs. Room is spacious and amenities are good. The only feedback is the pillows, not to my liking - too soft and shallow. Hence night rests were not good. Hope they can change the pillow or have options to change them. But overall quite decent choice in Pondok Indah area.

They have a poor concierge service. Stayed there in November 2021. They were rude and unprofessional. One of the incident was related to ordering food from the outside, with a policy of not delivering it to your hotel room due to COVID-19 contamination. This policy is silly to begin with, as the food was sealed. And to make matter worse, i was in the middle of an important call when the food arrived. And after rudely told me that i have to collect the food by myself, they didnt even bother to follow up with me with the food. I purposefully wait, when will they follow up of the food. None.until i checked out. And i have raised this on tripadvisor, and the director of communication gave a very generic and template reply (i doubt it was her that posted the reply, most likely one of her team member). Then when i wrote her an email, no reply came in. So I guess, this issue is pervasive throughout the organization

The check-in process was smooth. I came at 11.30 to leave my suitcase and have lunch at the mall. They processed my check-in and called me at 13.30 to let me know that my room is ready. The room is exactly like in the photos. I got the room as per my note requests on booking. Breakfast : crowded and hectic. The female clerk at the counter told us to sit waiting at the sofa across their desk because all the tables were full. But then they forgot about us and instead letting guests who came later to get a table first. Always loooong queue at the rice-udon and egg-sausage sections. And some of the food has run out when I asked. Not much variety but the taste is good.

Really love this hotel. Staff are very helpful and friendly. From the front desk, house keeping, lounge until the pool attendant, all of the are amazing. You can see mountain silhouette from your bed room window, the bed are firm and nice. Spacious, elegance and comfortable at the same time. They have an oversized bathtub, which is great for people with above average height like us. They have a nice kids pool and play ground area also. Oh, i forget to mention that their pool is heated.

This is the best Intercontinental hotel I have ever stayed. All the staff at the lounge was very attentive remembering my name. The day before check out, one receptionist kindly asked me about the departure time and if I would need any breakfast bag, after knowing it is too early for breakfast. The staff in general has good smile and made me happy. I can’t wait to come back here.

Stayed here several times. One time I had a room with a good view to the road, and another I can only see a roof top of the next building. The soundproofing is really good. Breakfast was over the top but taste-wise it may not be suited to the regular Indonesian palate. Our host during breakfast was Cindy. She was very hospitable and served us coffee and pastry to go, thank you!

An all-around excellent experience, making it a preferred choice for both business and leisure travellers. Definitely my go to hotel in Jakarta. Would not stay anywhere else.

Fantastic place for staycation, connecting to my favorite shopping Malls, everything was perfect from the check-in our spacious, clean, comfortable room. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our family enjoyed the swimming pool. Breakfast was fantastic from traditional authentic Indonesian food to International such as Western, Japanese, Indian (love the Aloo Gobi)

I have to stay for a few days for midyear evaluation workshop at this hotel. Stepping through the lobby, i was immediately struck by the beautiful and friendly reception area. Light, airy and very spacious, very welcoming atmosphere. The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They always greeting and smiling to us. The breakfasts were amazingly complete. The location of the hotel is great. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials i need like hairdryer, ironing board, complete with well-smell toiletries including the bath tub. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

The place is stunning, paintings are really beautiful and give a special touch to the the hotel. Everything is qualitative, food, amenities, glass bottle of water, hand written note, I really enjoy my stay thanks to all this details. Rooms are impeccables. And a special mention to all the staff from the cleaning team, reception, pool, breakfast who do a remarkable job, they are very warm, polite and nice. As cabin crew I travel a lot and can definitely say it’s one of my favourite hotel on earth, hope to see this incredible team soon.

Hi , I flew in from KL Tuesday and checked in late , service at the counter was great. People were very friendly and polite. However the same evening I wasnt able to adjust the air con and make my freezing room warmer. Every single time I increase its temperature it would decrease again and eventually I realise that it would take some time for it to adjust to the temperature that I was comfortable with and I was freezing and dying to sleep and so I switched it off and then I could sleep, but then in the middle of the night I had to get up because I got really hot and this happened for two consecutive nights. The next morning I needef to iron a cotton shirt desperately and the electric plugs would not accept the electric cable from the iron. The electric cable with like a misfit and so every time if I would press it down the electric will flow, but the minute I lifted my hand there was a disconnect, and therefore the iron was completely useless for me. I was not able to iron my shirt that morning and it really really annoyed me because obviously I just came and have limited clothes and I needed to wear that green top that day. I did not have many alternatives and my schedule is extremely tight. Now today, Thursday is the only day that I get to have some rest I’ve been having a hectic schedule and I was looking forward to resting in the room, but today I had time to ask for a technician to come to my room to check the plug the electric plifg and also the Aircon problem. Finally, on my third day, my room and intercontinental had a temperature that was suitable for me. Before this, it was freezing all the time, but guess what ? more trouble was coming my way. I stepped into the bathroom just an hour ago and there is water half of my bathroom floor is wet and the cubicle which has the toilet bowl half of it is also in about 2 cm amount of water because there is major leak from the ceiling. I immediately called the duty manager. Still waiting for a solution. I have a guest coming at around 8 pm and I’m faced with this situation where I don’t know are they going to move me out of this room? Are they going to give me any sort of compensation am I going to have technicians and plumbers coming into my room now the only day where I can rest. ???

I don't usually stayed at fancy five stars hotel as I only stays in a hotel to get some good night sleep. But staycation at a nice hotel has become an option for our family to spend weekend. The hotel is strategically located in one of the famous shopping center in South Jakarta with abundant parking space. The room is spacious and quite fancy. But as my room is not that high up, our view is quite limited, facing to the Pondok Indah Mall 1. My family and I loved the breakfast as all the menu we had, are delicious with vast variety of choices. Whether it's traditional Indonesian delicacies, oriental and European. The served fruit juices are all freshening. The service is also satisfying. Swimming pool is considerately small, but as there were not many people are using it, we can still enjoy it. We definitely will visit this place again. Highly recommended.

Very good service. Very nice food. Quick response with anythings we need. Very organized route for regular guests and quarantine (repatriacy) guests. I will recommend this hotel if anyone need to serve quarantine days or even to stay for business or holiday while in Jakarta.

Excellent. Luxurious hotel with top quality service. Outdoor pool on the 8th floor was very nice. Enjoyed the breakfast but I missed fresh fruits and salads. Maybe I had too ask for it. Otherwise no complaints.

Took a staycation with my family here in January 2024. The room space is big and clean. My son love to eat the various food at the breakfast and also love the staff and service. Close to PIM, just a walk. It was happy times for us! :D

Super comfy. Especially the bed, pillow and bed linen. My sleep score is 98! Room cleanliness is top notch. Staff also very attentive since we arrived, check in and checkout process very smooth. Last but not least, the breakfast is fantastic. Will be back for sure! Thank you.

The room is spacious. Love the room details. Amenities by Byredo. Guest relation officer was generous by decorating the room for my birthday and gave us bday cake. Breakfast was excellent, lots of variations and tasted great. Definitely would come back and stay in Intercontinental again next time.

Not the biggest, not the fanciest, but definitely one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Service is excellent where everybody is sincerely warm and helpful. Breakfast, room service and the lounge are superb. This is the hotel to stay in if you're working (or holidaying) in the area.

The hotel is so clean, all the staff are so nice & helpful. I love the breakfast, tasty food & lots of choice. And it's in Mall Pondok Indah 2. So if u need something, it's so easy to find the things that u want. Because just a second to get to the mall. The swimming pool area is soooo windy! Not too big for the swimming pool area, but it's quite nice & again it's clean. They have a kids playground on the same floor as wellswimming pool area.

Thoroughly enjoyed my short stay in Jakarta at this fabulous hotel. Everything about this hotel is stellar and truly sets you up for a comfortable stay; the rooms are beautiful and quiet, great dining and drinks, helpful staff, and beautiful views! Super convenient location next to a nice mall with endless shopping/dining. Hotel is well maintained and secure; easily one of the best InterContinental's I have ever stayed in! Forgot to take the photos as it was a busy day. I stayed for two days here. And my response is great! The service is excellent, they will always try to fulfill your needs. The breakfast is superb. A lot of Indonesian and international food is available. I have tried an authentic english breakfast before, and what they have here is quite similar to the one in the UK. Overall, I am pleased to stay here.

Great hotel with great service. I was there for a meeting and some of my colleagues stayed at the hotel. They said that the rooms are nice, great service with great value. The foods are delicious and what makes it better, the hotel is at the same building as Pondok Indah Mall, so you can find literally anything within the area.

The room in this Intercontinental Residences was spacious. It would be enough to accommodate a family up to 4 persons maximum while someone had to utilised it's sofa. The room was clean and well maintained. The residence provide us plenty of in room facilities such washing machine, stove, microwave, TV in the living and bedroom. Enjoying their heated pool, so we don't have to worry about swimming early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Breakfast was tasty but only provide a handful of choices, it would be better if a 5 stars hotel have plenty of food choices.

I came here for lunch with my co-workers at Sugar and Spice. I and my friends a bit confused with the entrance then i asked to security, then he guide us from lobby to 1st floor with nicely. What i really like from Sugar and Spice is the service (the manager and other waiters/waitress), the area are so clean and The food are great, tasty and fresh (seafood varieties are so many). Will definitely come again in another good time. Cheers

Good experience in good location. Suite and lounge experience are worth the money. A bit overbearing in service (answered a question of anything needed once with a "no", does not require to be asked anywhere 2-3 times). A bit rigid rules in the lounge, such as dress code that I have not seen in other intercontinental hotels to that extend. Rooms are good but electric sockets a bit worn, so that some are loose and plugs don't get power or slip out easily.

Stayed here for about 10 days.. in short - hits the 5 star expectations every day. Minor suggestions below, but generally a solid consistent hotel. The breakfast was amazing - really enjoyed the premium nature of the juices, varied local cuisine & just the random optional extras you could find. Gym was small but manageable, the people working there remembered you and remembered what preferences I had in the sauna as an example... Probably should swap free apples with bananas in my opinion Pool was fine, definitely needs more places to lay down.. there is a heavily underutilized area on level 8 that simply needed cushions to be usable... Rooms were bright & modern.. could hear noise but not alot.. would be ideal if there was more room to store waters.. but hey. All staff went beyond to help & use of english was very strong - even the cleaners had decent english Lastly I just appreciate that Intercon is going to read this and respond to my review... Shows that they are focused on customer service - well done!!

After issues with the booking , our 3 nights stay has been amazing . + friendly staff + nice and clean room + excellent gym + really good breakfast - pool setup can be improve - the noise from the motorbike in the street can precent a good night sleep .

It was an excellent experience for our family. A very clean room with wonderful city view and the great services from all of the staffs, right from the moment you stepped out from the car until you enter your room. They were all very helpful.
