This is the Jakhama route trek. This is the point from where the Dzükoü trek starts. You will have to deboard from your vehicle at this point. Although the vehicles can still go to an upper point pertaining to weather conditions and road conditions.

The view is worth of the hardship that requires to climb up this height. Through Jakhama village it is 4 hours very strip trek but for an ameture it might take 6 hours. There is another easy rout through vesma point but that takes even longer time.

  • 4/5 Rohan S. 5 years ago on Google
Very nice and picturesque view of the valley. Flowers blooming all around and greenery everywhere. But it is a bit tiring and you cannot complete it in one day. Plan for 2-3 days, there is a small guest house on the top or you can also camp in the caves or in the open if it is not raining. Be prepared to walk a lot and docarry some energy drinks like red bull or glucon d. Also carry some biscuits and cakes or sandwiches as you will not find anything to eat on the way.

I usually visit this place as it is a memorial created and implemented for our great leader and father who dedicated his life to making Nagaland a better and more United State. But despite of this value for me, I write, to the best of my knowledge, that which is truely a fact about this place. It covers not so much of the land at secreterait colony, but gives us a feeling of genuine freedom when we enter the compound. People from all walks of life can come and relate to this place as it is a symbol of freedom especially for the Nagas, who had been demanding what is rightfully ours and or late from fighter Mr. A. Z Phizo has contributed to the foundation of the sense of freedom for his people despite of the lack that's we have. It is beautifully made with the symmetry of a circle into which the memorial is integrated flowers covering it and the boundary walls which does not limit the view either from the inside not from the out the memorial stands proud with great height and beauty, trees surrounds it giving it s natural look which portrays the nature of freedom and gives hope to people who visit it but it truely depends on the individual. Over all it is one of the most valued possession along many which are spread all around Nagaland. I love this place but it needs a lil bit of rework.

The view is heavenly. The treak is not difficult. Climb up from Vishwema and get down from Jokhama.
