Seeing other positive reviews we figured we would give this place a shot. Now I wouldn’t even give them one star. Waited over 20 min just to order. Finally, when we were able to place our order, the lady was uninterested and not helpful at all. We ordered cheese pizza (originally wanted jerk chicken pizza, but they didn’t have that any more) and ice cream. Once we got our table number, we waited another 15 minutes just to get our ice cream. No one addressed us, we had to ask multiple times if someone was coming to help us. Then, we went to a table to wait for a pizza. 35 minutes went by and we still hadn’t seen anything. So we went to the counter. The guy said he’d go check on it and immediately brought a cheese pizza. To describe this “pizza,” it was cardboard tasting frozen pizza. I can’t even say it tasted like pizza. It was cold and very terrible. I’m not one to write reviews but I would never recommend this to anyone. The ice cream was okay but I’m deeply disappointed overall.

I must honestly say the food was off the chain. The fish was bigger than my head lol I sure did enjoy it... customer service was very warm and welcoming.

Are here twice. The first time was underwhelmed with the pizza and was a take it or leave it. The second time more than made up for it. The whole fish was just unlike anything I’ve ever had. I could have eaten 2. Lots of locals so definitely not a tourist trap. Gotta go try it.

Came for the beach and had some soda to help take off the heat. They also make alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for those who want a drink. Not the biggest beach but it's a beautiful spot. There are also showing movies on Thursday night and playing music on other nights. Great little spot in this resort town that is gaining popularity.

I liked the down to earth, unpretentious, rustic feel to the place. I went on a Saturday so it was very busy. The beach was clean and not as rough as other beaches in Treasure Beach. The service was okay. It's not bad. Be prepared to join long lines to order then wait a while for food as most things are done to order. The place is popular. The menu has variety too. I liked the fish that I got. It was cooked expertly and it was just right. I started to eat then I took a picture midway to post for the review. I like the artwork and the decor around the place and the grounds were clean. I would go back.

Amazing beach view, delicious food at reasonable price. Good for a family day out. For all fish lovers you should definitely try their Jerk fish🔥 that's one of my favorite on their menu. Good customer service and friendly staff with great live music💥

I didn't stay here, I stayed up the street and walked here for breakfast a few times. I had coffee and the Jamaican breakfast a few times. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced too. It was also located right across from the beach and had a very cute set up. I would highly recommend this place if you're in Treasure Beach.

It is a lovely place to eat. The food was amazing. They also have a bay area so u can go swimming. The water has alot of stones in it but its a good place to spend time with friends and family. There is also a bar.

Love treasure beach. Love the people in this small community. If you haven't visited, make sure it's for a night or two. One day will have you leaving with regrets. You have some great homes, villas, shops and restaurants in the area. Most are in walking distance from where you may stay or less than 10 minutes drive. Jack sprat is a spot you need to visit. The food is amazing the beach and the atmosphere is perfect. The time to get your food? That's the issue, it takes too long. Lucky for them they have the views and beach. Make sure you take a swim while you wait for the food, the beach is great.

The view alone is worth 5 stars! The staff are extremely friendly and the service is prompt. I ordered the Large Red Snapper Jerk and was surprised at how large the fish was!! My husband is a Jamaican who is a critic for cooked meals outside of his own, and he had very little negatives for this outing. The atmosphere is fun and of course the music is great. It is worth the trip to Treasure Beach. I look forward to visiting this establishment again.

Great tasting food. The steam snapper fish was great. The oxtail is always awesome, best tasting ever. My third visit and I will continue to return while I am in the area for lunch and or on a dinner date. 👍👍. The waiting period is reasonable compare to the Kingston restaurants that offer similar service. Keep it up, Great job guys.

I've been to Jack Sprat twice and it's a great restaurant overall. Food is good, staff is nice, surroundings are absolutely lovely! There is a nice little beach there and a stage that has beautiful steps that can be used as a great photo spot. The area is well-kept and spacious and just has a lovely vibe to it. It's great for private and group meals alike. They have seafood offerings including fish, shrimp, conch and lobster (when in season), in many different styles- jerk, garlic, coconut curry, curry etc as well as pizzas with cheese, vegetables, sausages, pepperoni and full house toppings and jerk chicken and wings for the meat lovers. There is a bit of a long wait for food, as can be expected from a place where food is done to order, so don't go with a completely empty tummy, if you can't wait for long 😊.

At time of visit late afternoon place was not crowded. Atmosphere was kool with workers ready to take your order. Meal was great even thou they only xlarge size fish.

Today was a special treat! My boyfriend and I had lunch at Jack Sprat Restaurant in Treasure Beach and I have to say ... the food was amazing! We both ordered Jerk Chicken; I had it with rice and peas and my boyfriend had festivals. Both were prepared to perfection. This is authentic Jamaican cuisine. Not everything on the menu was available so be mindful of that. They don't have menu's at tables, so you have to go inside the restaurant to order, then go to your table. Added bonus ...! Treasure Beach is attached to Jack Sprat so you can swim then eat. On special nights you can enjoy live entertainment. When you're in Jamaica, make sure you reach Jack Sprat! 🇯🇲❤️✨️

We watched the Super Bowl last night on Jack Sprat's bar big screen. As always, wonderful venue. Covid safe outside with tasty, jerk chicken wings, a fully loaded pizza, and well cold Dragon Stout. The classic, comfortable Jamaican hospitality made this KC native's evening delightful, even if a great team lost. A visit to Jack Sprat is a must if you are in Treasure Beach. Don't miss the opportunity to experience this South Coast treasure.

Scenery, beach, ambiance, it's just a great place to unwind and relax, however be aware it's a bit of a drive so be sure you have great company

This is a very nice chill spot, it provides a wide array of food to choose from, everything done to order with not so reasonable prices . The staff aren't very friendly and seems to be chickens without heads. They messed up my order then attempted to argue with me . The customer service is poor and no one apologize for this. The area is very good to enjoy a nice meal however the attitudes of the employees are just UNBELIEVABLE! All in all the environment is clean the restrooms are also clean and functional. The staff needs training.

An oasis on the south coast. Great food and drinks, excellent for hanging out and events. Please walk with insect repellant, my only draw back was the mosquitos at certain times of the year.

Great service with a smile and has improved over the years and the food is good. Could not believe the size of the fish they were serving - huge. Seating areas have expanded so perfect for social distancing and many rocks removed from the shallow end of the beach so perfect to paddle and swim in. Only complaint, waited too long for my cocktail, about 20 minutes, but I know they were busy.

Went for my bday dinner and I absolutely loved the food and vibe if the place. There was a rude cashier who I didn't allow to ruin my evening but customer service training needs to be done with her. I would recommend.

One of the place I use to have my dinner. I eat seafood only, so I need to go there quite often. It is one of the good seafood restaurant among rare seafood restaurants in Jamaica.

nice beachside moment - i got the garlic lobster since i (unfortunately) can’t eat spicy jerk but it was great! my boyfriend had the jerk chicken and fish and loved it but did prefer the fish over the chicken since it was more food for the serving — the brown stew fish was also a good alternative to the jerk! love the FESTIVAL 💚💚 good vibes 😎

Just get the Jerk Fish and thank me later. Bathroom facilities are available, lots of space to have a nice private meal for two or for the whole family. Lots of options available! I got the jerk fish and it was BOMB!

Not joke... my last trip to Jack Sprat for the 1st ever Rum & Food Festival '23 was the most fun I've had in Treasure Beach that didn't involve skinny dipping after dark. The Bar crawl was the highlight for me but the food was amazing and the vibe was beyond compare. Thanks again to Linda & Jason for facilitating a fabulous birthday!

Stayed only for a short while Didn’t have any food Drinks are reasonably priced Love the setup as there were pics of old time music contributors and other artifacts representative of the Jamaican culture. At the front there’s a scotia ATM - that was a big plus for me They seem to have a beach attached as there were changing rooms on site

First, let me get it out of the way, the curry snapper was one of the best meals I’ve had in my entire life, the sauce was amazing and the fish cooked to perfection, I’ll come back just for this. The beach here is beautiful, darker sand and beautiful blue water. Only bad part about the beach is there are really only 2 natural tree shade spots on the beach so maybe bring an umbrella if you want to hang out on the beach with shade, if not there is plenty of space on the lawn with shade and tables/chairs. I had a great time here and it’s a great way to spend the day.

Very cool place. We ate there a couple of times during our stay. The conch was a favorite of our group. The pizzas were great too. Good variety. And super fast on the pizza, other foods took a while. Definitely recommend.

Jack Sprat was an experience that I absolutely recommend to anyone in visiting Treasure Beach. The place seems to be always busy. Despite this, staff kept on top of things and ensured we were attended to and served our order timely. The food ...OMG! It was an absolute delight. That Full House Pizza is a must have. The sandwiches were great too. I'll definitely be back.

I liked this restaurant, very convenient location for Treasure Beach. I loved the Jerk Chicken pizza and their fish tea soup; it was so good. It’s located right on the beach as well. I hope to go back to try more of the menu.
