Noel's
presence
lingers
in
every
room,
even
though
more
than
40
rears
have
passed
since
he
died
here,
alone,
in
the
bathroom.
The
house
is
as
he
left
it,
unchanged,
unvarnished.
Firefly
takes
some
effort
to
find,
but
if
you
want
to
meet
the
man,
you'll
find
him
here.
So
do
it.
Whether
you're
a
fan
or
not,
you'll
enjoy
connecting
with
the
past
and
with
a
bygone
age,
an
age
with
more
time
and
maybe
less
intrusion.
He
found
this
place
you
know,
in
1946
when
driving
around
with
Ian
Fleming,
whose
'Golden
Eye'
is
about
10
miles
down
the
road,
although
these
roads
are
so
rutted,
you
might
think
it
feels
more
like
50
miles.
It
would
be
a
pity
to
visit
the
north
coast
of
Jamaica
and
not
come
here.
