I've used this location for many events, office retreat, office work groups, repass, wedding receptions, you name it and Alhambra has a space that will suit your needs. Book with confidence. The service and food are top class. The menu offerings are diverse enough to suit all. The conference rooms are good, ask for the large conference room it's my favorite, as you get the room and the balcony. The location is good and the surrounding landscape takes you back in time with the antique decor which can definitely stir up a discussion or a memory. Keep it up team Alhambra, ask for Karen, as she is one of the main movers and shakers that keeps the machinery well oiled.

Great brunch on Sundays. The hotel itself is very boutique. If you're looking for a secluded quiet spot, this is the place for you.

As at the time of this review, they serve brunch. $3k per person. Family and I arrived at 9am but that was too early. I believe they were ready by 10am. The breakfast spread had ackee, corned pork, callalloo, kidney, fried bammy and dumplings, boiled food, fruits, desserts etc. It was good. Pleasant enough staff most of whom are 'big people'. No youngsters. I suppose that'd mitigate against any negative attitude towards customers. Alhambra has a vintage/rustic theme to it. A good amount of greenery punctuated with street signs and posters from the 70's and 80's. Signs from JBC, Red Stripe and others. Theres a pool around the back that can work for children. Its also an inn where rooms are available for visitors to stay. At the top of Mountain View (across from the national stadium) which makes the drive to the Norman Manley airport about 15 - 20 mins.

We loved our stay at the Alhambra Inn! It is in an amazing location - close enough to everything, and yet quiet and peaceful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We loved the balcony off of our room, where we enjoyed the Independence Day celebrations and fireworks from the comfort of our room. The hotel is built around several courtyards and has a lovely, airy feel. The staff was wonderful and quite accommodating, and the meals at the hotel restaurant were delicious. We'll be back!

So the company I work for celebrated 'Secretaries Day' and decided to book this place (so we didn't book any rooms, no need). It was great, the little garden outside of the seating area was really nice. It has a really vintage look when you get inside, with cabinets filled with vintage ware of what persons who lived a while back in Jamaica would be using. Would recommend for staff functions.

Had breakfast at 11am . Food was cold and just ordinary. Took us 30mins to get a cup of coffee, and another 15mins for the sugar. Had to go to cashier to pay my bill. Went into bathroom and had to get out so fast. Sorry to see the deterioration

Had a meeting there. Place either old or vintage. Could use a face lift garden lift service lift. Staff fairly decent. But place needs renovation or some care

Beautifully decorated space to have luncheons or dinners, especially during Christmas. The food was also delicious. The space can also be set up for workshops. Close to the national stadium and arena, with access to public transportation

The hotel doubled as a museum of antiques, which was pretty cool. The colonial setting definitely brought my old history books to life.

The exterior is more appreciative than the interior. Upgrades can be seen lets hope that they continue on that path. The vintage theme is lovely.

This place needs alot of renovating, nice location, only spent the night, the first room we got had a real bad musty smell then we got the presidential suite which was better but if renovated this could be a great place to stay.

I checked in and had to change rooms. Both rooms smelled old as if no one had been in them all year. The AC smelled dusty and was more like a fan than an AC unit. Dinner was amazing tho and the grounds are pretty but the rooms need better care and cleaning and maybe some updating too.

(Translated by Google) We were there only to eat on Sunday noon and not to stay in the hotel. The restaurant was really great, we ate Jamaican food there, and we are delighted. The service was very pleasant. I highly recommend.
