Tourist attraction Nature preserve

👍👍 Gureghar natural trail is definitely some place you might want to be at if you want to find solace and be away from the rush/hustle-bustle and unload yourself. It's a half an hour hike one way and is full of greenary on either side. Thanks For Reading 📖 People often mention trail, point, view, walk, visit, Mapro, Mahabaleshwar, Nice, nature, garden,

Triveni Point is a look-out point at the top of an elevated watchtower from where you get one of the best views of the Panchgani-Mahabaleshwar plateau. Most of the tourists visit Mapro Garden and overlook the Gureghar Nature Trail, just across the road, and hence miss one of the most beautiful points of Mahabaleshwar, the Triveni Point, which lies at the end of the 1 km long trail. It is an easy to do the trail by people of all age groups. We started on the trail at around 11 am and were back on the highway at noon. We did not encounter any other tourist on the way. We had only the birds and the bees, trees and forest for company. It is a beautiful place to experience nature at its best. Do remember to wear your trekking shoes and carry your camera when you visit, and not to litter the trail with your garbage.

The location on map is incorrect. The starting point of the trail is opposite of Mapro Garden at Gureghar Mahabaleshwar & not at Wai. A nature trail which reaches to a scenic spot & an excellent observation point. The trail starts barely across the road opposite of Mapro Garden. Inspired by the description at the entrance, we went exploring the same with interest & many expectations. The trail ends at Triveni point. This point is an observation deck. The place is at a substantial elevation. From here one can view the confluence of three rivers down the valley. Likewise, the visitor can appreciate a distinct view of many points at Mahabaleshwar & Panchgani. The path moves through a thickly covered evergreen rain-forest. A paved pathway is there. However loose pebbles & dust on the uphill walkway makes it very slippery. Further, after some distance the way becomes narrow & gets covered with foliage, therefore making it almost undetectable. So after walking for half an hour, we gave up hopes of reaching the designated spot & returned. Expected to have direction boards and also signage indicating how much distance is left to strike the target. Amazingly, there are other signboards indicating names of the trees and also warning against littering. But the boards which would have been valuable to the chance visitors, are missing. Benches are there en-route at several locations. But tall grass has grown around them. As a result, making it difficult to use these. So the intention of the trail administrators seems to be to inhibit casual visitors. Hardcore passionate trekkers only can dare to visit this.

I think this point is great. The view from here is the best view in mahabaleshwar. It's sad that it hasn't received the recognition it should, but one must visit triveni when in mahabaleshwar. You can see three Rivers from one spot! It's amazing!!

If you enjoy a bit of hike, then this is a must visit when you are in Mahabaleshwar. It's just opposite to mapro garden. It will take roughly 1-2 hrs + whatever time u wish to spend when you reach uphill.

It’s a good walking trail surrounded by dense forest. There are birds( mostly Bulbuls) in the dense forest however it’s not a great birding experience . Triveni Point Gureghar trail lies exactly Opp to the Mapro Garden on Panchgani Mahabaleshwar road and not on wai Panchgani road as the google maps suggest

Loved it,,, actually while entering we didn't knew anything about it,,, we just reached their by 7am,, bought a ticket,, 25rs per person ,,, and started walking.....Very soon we came to know that,, ohh wow it's a nature trail of about 2km,, the road we walked was just covered with many big trees, vishesh and grass,, as we went their very early morning, no one was there and we could experience the morning jungle trail, the rising sun. Had to walk the little slope and it made our morning cardio with nature,,, after about 25min of walk we finally reached trivedi point and got stunned with the view around

25 to 30 mins nature walk. If that is what you enjoy. The view from the top is exaggerated.

I just had time left for bus so I went there but its an awesome point specially at sunset time. It's stairs in between jungle and reaches you to top point. You can have good peaceful time up there as it's not that crowdy.

Awesome place, surprisingly it's just opposite to crowded Mapro garden but very few people visit this place. Went there just to see what's there and found a peaceful 1 km trail upto the top, the view was awesome, place was peaceful & Yes was fortunate to see giant squirrel. MUST VISIT.

The Highest point in Mahableshwar! You can see around 10 points if the sky is clear. The walk up is beautiful as well.

Follow the nature trail for around 1.2kms and you'll get to see some spectacular views from one of the highest points of Maharashtra. You'll get to see 360 degree view of all the highest peak and magnificent valleys of Mahabaleshwar.
