Stumbled upon this place by chance. Best gyoza. Well priced especially if you go for a set gyoza x side plate x drink option. Would highly recommend Mr Kachan's restaurant!

Have a really good time there. The restaurant owner is very kind and can communicate well in English. It's good to have a friend on a snowy friend. The Chili Sauce make dumplings special. Such a Sapporo hidden gem.

Wonderful (Oishi desu) izakaya with superb Gyoza served up by a lovely husband and wife Team who speak near perfect English who enhanced my Nihongo in the process. Highly recommended at around ¥2300 per person for drinks and a good feed. Go chi sou sama deshita

One of the best meals I had in Japan. The food was delicious. The owners were so lovely and helpful. They spoke great English and made some recommendations for activities. The whole vibe was amazing and really comforting. Felt like visiting a family members home. I left very full and happy. The gyoza are divine as was the miso and salad. They have a lot of great sauce options and delicious kimchi. Had some amazing fresh grapefruit juice as well. Highly recommend everyone should make a visit and enjoy some amazing food and nice conversation

An amazing and welcoming place. The gyoza (and all the food really) was delicious! The dough was one of the best I’d ever encountered. The owner and cook are so sweet and the music is just on point. We are having a blast :)

We were craving gyoza after a long day of snowboarding and happily came upon Sapporo Gyouzayasan that was close to our hotel. With only an hour before closing, we hurried in and were warmly greeted by the owners. We ordered a beer set menu (included a bottle of beer, 6 pan-fried gyoza, and small portions of mapo tofu, cucumber salad, Hokkaido-produced edamame), a highball, a lychee sour, pan-fried cheese gyoza and boiled gyoza. What a treat! The homemade garlic and ginger chili oil were also the perfect pairings for the gyoza. We’ve never had gyoza with cheese before but it was mouth-watering deliciousness. The owners were incredibly welcoming and sweet, and even spoke some English. You can tell that they love what they do with all their hearts 🥹 He was gracious enough to sit down with us after our meal and taught us some Japanese phrases to help us along on our journey. This is a perfect example of why we love this country so much: warm and kind people with delicious food & drink to match. We can’t wait to come and visit again on our next trip! Randomly chanced upon this small eatery selling gyoza. They were big and juicy. Tasted excellent with their homemade garlic or ginger sauce. Or you can go with the traditional vinegar too. Very convenient outdoor parking just beside the shop.

The owner was so friendly and the gyoza and side dishes were all very very delicious. His homemade garlic and ginger chilli oil was yummm, would definitely recommend and come back any time!

it is a hungry and curious traveller’s dream to walk into a treasure of a place that offers good food and friendly service with genuine charm..! for susukino, this dumpling place is the one. just order the cheese baked dumpling and pair it with a good drink (try the sake) and your world will just light up and you will be sauntering home with a full belly. thank you, master..!

I love gyozas and this was one of the best I've had. The gyozas are hand made and contains a very nice balance of flavours. I would recommend getting all three types (the pan-fried, the soup and the cheese one) to try, and to order more of the one you like after because they all blew me away. The owner speaks a bit of english and he runs the place with his wife. They were both very attentive and helpful which made the atmosphere very warm and hospitable! Must-try!!!

The most friendly owners ever who spoke great English. Went on our last night in Sapporo and it was one of the most comfortable experiences I had in Japan. Delicious gyoza - the rice set was very worth it. Highly recommend visiting this place! Ta :)

These are the best Gyozas I’ve had in my life! All the food was so delicious! The service was amazing, and it’s even better to find this hidden jewel. This restaurant is run by the most adorable couple :) you have to was try the boiled gyozas and the cheese gyozas (out of this world!) Great sake tasting too! A wonderful experience

We had a great Time here! The Owner is friendly and speaks english. We tried the Sake/ Gyoza menue and ordered the 2 other Kind of Gyoza also. They were all delicious and the apetizer were awesome as well. For the Sake i took the chefs recommendation and that payed off, very good! We also chatted with the owner and he taught us some japanese and we taught him some german. Awesome owner, deliscious food and a super evening, would recommend!
