only
has
two
options:
tendon
(tempura
seafood
and
vegetables
on
rice),
or
tendon
+
daily
soup.
It
appears
they
used
to
have
udon
made
on
site
too,
but
the
owner
is
scaling
back
a
bit.
He
only
does
one
thing,
but
he
does
it
very
well.
I’m
not
even
much
of
a
tendon
fan
(my
wife
is
the
tendon
nut),
but
I
became
one
after
eating
here.
Also,
as
other
reviewers
say,
the
owner
is
a
great
guy.
He
can
tell
you
a
lot
about
the
area,
and
he’s
really
interested
in
where
you’re
from.
We
spoke
Japanese
and
he
took
notes
on
our
ideas
about
Mie
prefecture
(my
home
for
20+
years).
Other
reviewers
say
he
speaks
pretty
good
English.
That
may
be
true
but
he
was
very
patient
with
my
middling
Japanese
and
that’s
a
big
plus
in
my
book!
