Genbaku Dome (Dōmu) es el único edificio que quedó en pie tras el primer bombardeo atómico sobre Hiroshima. Sus ruinas son el Monumento a la Paz de Hiroshima.

It’s a great preservation and remembrance of the bomb. They’ve done a great job

After the end of World War II, Hiroshima preserved this building and registered the Hiroshima atomic bomb site as a World Cultural Heritage in 1996 as a negative World Cultural Heritage.

The dome was designated a world heritage monument. I enjoyed reading the tablets and viewing the dome myself. A very surreal experience knowing this is where the bomb fell.

You owe it to yourself to see this if you can.

Beautiful place even with the Sad past. Is a must visit place in hiroshima

Already posted about the museum, but a highlight of the entire 3 week trip. You must go, you must. It's worth it.

Awesome to visit the beginning of the end for humanity. It's humbling and I can't say I'm upset with my country for doing what it did. Glad they did keep something from the A bomb for us to remember the capabilities we have in destroying ourselves.

Today there was a strike due the G7, altho place is neat, makes you be aware of history and all the almost 100 years of US bombing other counties

To see this remnant of one of the most important historical events send chills down my spine.
