Ebisu Tower Ferris Wheel is the symbol of Osaka and is a really fun ride to see the Dotonbori area from above. The ride is 600 yen per person. The people who work there are the kindest we’ve ever met in Japan. Once we reached the ticket area we realized we were short on 200 yen. The owner there still let us take the ride. We came back by night time to take the ride again and also to pay the missing 200 yen. The owner guy did not want to take the 200 yen and he even gave us a discount of 200 yen for the next ride.

An interesting and somewhat nerve rattling experience. To find the place you enter via the stairs on the river side boardwalk up 3 levels. Each pod holds 4 seats, I am a large male and fitted in the seats and his in bar ok (just but comfortable). The ride takes about 15 minutes and the view from the top feels quiet high. The series of gerrrrrrrr, tink tink, bump bump and bang can get the nerves flowing!!!!! A good experience well worth the 600 Y each.

Nice experience, great view especially at night, the music though could be better, good staff very friendly, inexpensive and quite the experience, well worth a visit when you are in the area thoroughly recommend trying it especially if you are there in the night

Pleasant experience with the family. The queue was a bit long but it was moving. Everyone enjoyed it although it did feel quite high once you’re at the top of the wheel. Not too expensive and will recommend as a fun activity!

The first and only oval ferris wheel in the world. Great experience and super nice view of southern Osaka from the top. The cabin will rotate 180⁰ after you board to face the outside of the ferris wheel. Went on a weekend with moderate queue. Waiting about 30mins to ride, and the staff will always try to sit the cabin with your travelling partner/s only, hence, the privacy. Highly Recommended for the experience!

Awesome view of Osaka! Perhaps a bit pricey for a relatively short ride at ¥600 but a steal compared to the asking price of some of the skyscraper observation decks, and arguably this view is more interesting because it's not too high up!

Nice view, not so expensive — about 1200 yen for two people

Solo ride for a bird’s eye view of the Osaka skyline. The quirky safety videos kept me entertained during the wait. Nice quiet alone time as I had the capsule to myself.

A bit scary, ¥600, regular admission, other options available like VR for ¥1200 per person

The perfect place for a retro future experience. Think Blade Runner, Brazil with some Jetsons thrown in for good measure. Upon arrival you will be greeted and seated in what feels like a seat from a disused fairground ride. Don`t fear! You`ll soon spin around to reveal the window in your new enclosure. Remember, this is not your typical ferris wheel so you`ll be ascending for what seems like forever. Eventually you`ll hit the top and the views will be worth (or possibly enhanced by) this bizarre contraption. The rocking and squeaking will not make it feel secure. But what it lacks in safety, it makes up for in charm If you`re looking for brief respite from the crowds of the Dontonburi this si certainly an option.

A little nerve-wrecking especially when it stops halfway. Quite crowded too in the shops. The wait for the ride was short and the experience was quite good nonetheless!

It has good but not great views. Ticket price is fair for what it propose.

Very unique Ferris Wheel. Not a very long ride, but when you first sit into the capsule, the whole seat will turn 180 degrees to face out. When you're at the top, the whole capsule will progressively rotate to level itself while it travels up the curved top. Took it for the kids. But if the queue is long just skip this... surely you can live without taking this. I don't think it's worth to queue beyond 30mins for this.

Iconic ferris wheel in the center of Osaka and next to the river. Great for photo shots. Recommended!

The experience was pretty good. And the top of the wheel is quite high too. I like how the cabin turns 180 degrees to off/on board the guests. Pretty smart idea.

Beautiful night view and especially interesting when the Dotonbori cruise passed by.
