Its awesome here! The people are very lovely, the decoration is also. And the soy meat was the best one I've had so far, it is insanely good! Recommended for everyone who likes vegan or just tasty food. :)

The owners are incredible nice and the restaurant was such a cosy place to relax. The food was very great, healthy and tasty as well. We had a great evening with two other fellow vegans that we met next to us. I highly recommend this place and it’s wonderful owning couple.

One of the best places in Kyoto! All vegan and all delicious. The BBQ bowl is to die for. Also don't sleep on the lemon pound cake. Mini and Taka are geniuses of their craft, and are beautiful and wholesome souls. Can't wait to come back as much as possible!

The restaurant is very cozy and cute. It was quite full when we arrived. The staff was really nice and the food is really amazing. We got bbq don. it’s probably the best vegetarian don I have ever had. Definitely worth for the wait. Thank you so much. :)

Magical oasis of vegan delights with zero waste as a bonus! Delicious food, great menu, welcoming owners. Reservation’s recommended, although we walked in without a reservation, however we were a party of 2 and arrived minutes after opening. Latecomers and or larger groups will be waiting; this is not fast food.

We had a great meal in Tu Casa, super tasty! Yummy desserts and the strawberry shakes (with homemade strawberry jam) were to die for! We came back a few times even if it was just for a smoothie and scones :-) It's a cute little place and the couple running it is lovely and friendly. Highly recommend <3

Delicious veggie spin on Korean food. The bibimbap was fantastic. We added on the bbq soy meat which was super tasty. The drinks were also lovely and refreshing. I would definitely check out this place again. It doesn’t have too many seats, but we went at opening time and got a table right away.

We came in at 5pm on Sports Day and were seated immediately. The atmosphere was very nice, and we loved all the little eclectic touches. We got the Rainbow Kimbap and the Bibimbap, with a Whiskey highball, and it was all delicious. Mini and Taka are providing a lovely oasis in Kyoto and we look forward to visiting again on our next trip!

Food is very good, portions are relatively big for low prize, no drawback on quality, though. Really enjoyed the place. You can also stay over, but we only ate there, very recommendable. Only downside is, that there are very few choices on the menu, but as a vegetarian / vegan, you will be very satisfied regardless.

Best vegetarian BBQ rice bowl and bibimbap ever! Love it so much. We order another BBQ bowl after we finished one. The vibe is also cozy. I like the indoor design very much. We also baught all the vegetarian tuna cans they have in store.

What a lovely place run by lovely people. I popped in by chance after wandering around looking for a place to eat and it was a night when the usual menu wasn't actually being offered because a special event was being run and the place was full. The owners were so kind that they offered to cook for me anyway and seated me upstairs in the guesthouse they run (which was very comfy!) because it happened to be unoccupied that night. They really didn't have to go out of their way, but as a tired and hungry traveller I was really touched that they did. If I'm ever in Kyoto again I'll definitely be going back! The vegan bibimbap was great :)

You have to come here! Lovely atmosphere, the hosts are so kind, and we enjoyed our dinner so much. Very delicious Bibimbap and Korean „sushi“ rolls. Extra veggies and kimchi was great. The seaweed soup and dessert (lemon pound cake and chocolate tartine) were amazing. Reservation recommended.

Beautiful little Korean vegan & eco friendly restaurant. It smells amazing as soon as you walk in! Fairly small inside so be prepared to wait a little while if it's busy, however the delicious, fresh & tasty food makes it well worth a visit. The owners / staff are lovely & made us feel very welcome and I enjoyed having a chat with them about Korean food! The rainbow Kimbap especially was superb and so flavoursome. Loved it here :)

Amazing Restaurant! The food is very good and the owners are even friendlier. The prices are very fair and even if you are not vegan I would say its well worth a visit!

This is one of the best vegan restaurants in Kyoto. If you happen to be in the Higashiyama area and want to have vegan , this place is recommended. I had tried the gimbap and the soy meat bbq bowl. Both were good. I was surprised as to vegan Sushi could be made delicious as well. The owners are also nice folks and interact with customers. They speak English so it’s great to have a small conversation while enjoying a vegan meal. I liked the hot lemon ginger drink as well. Last but not the least , the ambience is also nice. Only place to improve would be more comfortable seating I guess.

I had a wonderful time at Tu Casa! The food is delicious, the staff is very nice and fluent in English and the atmosphere is very relaxing. It isn't only a vegan restaurant but also a zero waste store with lovely interior decor. Highly recommended to go!

Really nice minimalistic place. 😍 And the food was delicious. Went there with my brother, we both had the Korean BBQ and shared a plate of Kimbap Maki. It was a feast! On top you can also buy vegan products such as vegan curry paste or dried soy products (without packaging). I bought the vegan Tsuyu -looking forward to use it once I'm back home ! 😊✨

Very affordable and delicious vegan food! Korean restaurant with instagram-able dishes 😊 The food was not given to us at the same time and sadly one of the dishes was sold out.

Wonderful food and atmosphere. Can only recommend! Especially the bbq bowl :) The plant based bbq “meat” is the best one I have ever had, and I’ve been vegetarian for 10 years. Thank you so much!

WOW!! This spot was seriously amazing! Everything from the vibe, food, and the two sweet owners. We came here close to the closing hour but ended up chatting with the sweet couple owners past closing time. They genuinely love what they do and you can tell they care. We ordered the BBQ bowl and the black bean noodles (both were BOMB) and it reminded me of my childhood when my mom would make similar dishes that were meat-based. It’s difficult to come by amazing vegan food in Japan but this was one of them! 😊 Highly recommend! ❤️🫶🏼

When we came place was almost empty, guy at the door asked if we have a reservation I said no, and he said so we are full, so go wait outside (it felt a bit rude), they had refill jars 🫙 and some organic products I was looking at and I asked if maybe we can have a look at them and not stand outside. After some time woman came to us and said we can sit at the super claustrophobic table jammed in between 2 walls it was maybe 45 cm wide, we squeezed in somehow and that’s it, for next 15 min nobody came to us, then she said to a guy give them menu, he did and left. So we were sitting and waiting and waiting while she was chatting with the guy at the bar in a more then a half empty place.. so we got up and left as it was just a complete waste of time and felt super disrespectful. If place is working only on a reservation basis or you need to reserve to get any service or a better attitude, maybe mention it.

Loved their amazing food and the sweet lemon grass tea! I also am impressed by their zero waste initiatives including have a food box outside to deposit food items you don’t need but can still be used by others! Lovely place but would recommend making a reservation to get a table :)

Really nice, quaint spot. Very friendly owners. The Korean BBQ bowl hit the spot. Didn’t miss the meat at all. The Rainbow Kimbap is a great way to get your daily serving of veggies in. I wish we had this place in the States!

Fantastic vegan and eco friendly restaurant in Kyoto. Everything was so tasty. Not easy to find a place like this in Japan. I would recommend making a reservation in advance

I’m vegan but my husband is not and he gave it a 10/10! So, so good! The Korean BBQ is delicious and the texture is unreal how much like meat it is. The gimbap was soooo good. We only came here to snack or else we have ordered double of both! Aesthetic is also on point!

Had dinner at this unique vegan eatery for my four days homestay in Kyoto. Food was deliciously superb and services friendly. I & my family highly recommended this cafe 🍵 for best experiences. My best vegan meals so far. Will be back to Singapore tomorrow and wishes both ( I believe owner ) the best and stay in business always. Bye and take care
