Great and comfortable waiting area. Conveniently located near Yamato Museum, one of the popular attractions in Kure City. Remember one day that, for some reason, the ticket staff said I didn’t need a Ferry Ticket when I tried to pay with my pre-paid Hiroden commuting card which only allowed me unlimited streetcar access within limited area in Hiroshima City. Surprised, I consulted with two other staff members and got the same answer. Presenting the pre-paid commuting card at ferry boarding gate also allowed me to pass without problems. Eventually I got a free ferry ride back to Hiroshima City. Still don’t know exactly what happened. The ferry ride itself was smooth, comfortable and pleasant.

This place is a ferry terminal for Etajima, Hiroshima and Matsuyama. Besides these ferries you can take a sightseeing tour boat from here!! You can see around the Kure maritime port from the water!! You can see military ships and huge cargo ships!! It’s super amazing!!! This terminal is connected from JR Kure station through pedestrian deck so it’s easy access!! There are 7/11 convenience store in this terminal!! It’s nice and you can buy some souvenirs here!! Looks like no credit card to pay for the ferries. Enjoy!!

It's Kure ferry terminal. There are normally two services, one is speed boat and another is RORO ferry. The ferry takes double the time of speed boat and half the price of speed boat. There is 50% discount for foreigners, but they check the passport. Reservation is normally not required and you can just drop-in and buy ticket.

Port where you can access to Eta-island, Hiroshima city and Mastuyama city. Has large waiting room at 1st and 2nd floor. There's also an observatory at 5th floor where you could get 360ºview of Kure city and Kure bay.

Spacious, comfortable place to wait for ferries going to a good variety of destinations. Needs free WiFi.

フェリーの行き先が多く賑わっているターミナルです。 展望デッキやテーブル付きの休憩スペースもあります。 広島港までのフェリーもあるので 広島観光で広島への往来は電車・バスも便利ですがフェリーで移動するのも港町ならではで観光として面白いかもしれませんね！

呉から出発するフェリーのターミナルです。呉港の海上自衛隊艦船巡りの受付もこちらです。艦船巡りは３０分１５００円。 ターミナル内にセブンイレブンがありちょっとした飲み物、お菓子等購入できます。 2Fは少し展望スペースが有り呉港を眺められます。

歴史ある呉の中央桟橋ターミナル。 昔はここから四国や宮崎方面に新婚旅行に旅立つ大型客船が泊まっていたのです。 大晦日、新年の瞬間は周辺に停泊している船舶の汽笛が一斉に鳴ります。横浜港の新年の汽笛には及ぶべくもありませんが、それでも汽笛を聞く価値はあります。 2階の待合室兼自習室はひろしま無料Wi-Fiも使えます。日や時間帯によっては自習する高校生に占拠されます。 一階のセブンイレブンで珈琲を買って2階のテラスから眺める呉湾の景色は何ともいえません。観光で行かれた方も是非おすすめします。
