Really good coffee! The Drip Coffee and Café au Lait were both excellent. There is a kind of small gift shop inside the coffee itself. It is kind of fancy. Toilets available at 1st floor.

We popped in here after a jaunt to Kiyomizu-dera in the morning and after stopping by the Starbucks around the corner. I was attracted by their hand drip coffees but when I got to order, they had just sold out. Seeing that they had cold brew in big siphon globes and ice cold water slow dripping into it, I decided to chance their cold brew instead. Oh. My. Word. This was a cold brew that changed flavour as you drank it. No hint of bitterness, with a flavour of rum and a sweetness of raisin. It woke me up better than anything a Starbucks drink could do and it was incredibly refreshing after the morning trek uphill. We also got the coffee milk but that tasted bland compared to the cold brew. There was also a bit of an exhibition going on and they had stuff in store to sell. There is an upstairs seating area for paying customers but with limited seats. It was so good that we went back for a second cold brew literally 15 minutes after finishing the first. Highly recommended.

This is one of my new favorite shops in Kyoto. They have a delightful assortment of well made items, plus the coffee is delicious. I had a cold brew and it was one of the best I’ve had in this city or any other.

A tiny coffee place with home goods and Kyoto souvenirs. Seating is available on the second floor for customers who have bought coffee. It's just next to Yasaka Shrine so load up on the delicious blended coffee before moving on to Gion.

Stylish shop for Japanese goods in the basement and a quite tiny place for relaxing on the 1st floor. Take a good coffee downstairs and sit down upstairs hide away from tourists mass. I can recommend the cold brew!

Found this lovely shop while exploring. Bought myself a Kinto thermal flask as a souvenir. Maybe next time will try out their coffee.

Highly recommend the au lait glace. It's coffee layered over sweetened milk. Something I've not seen or had anywhere else before. I had this a few years ago and was glad to see the place was still in business and coffee just as good as I remember. They even give you an instruction sheet on how to drink it correctly. A must-try if you're in the area!! Service is great too. Not too crowded despite being in a busy area, did not have to queue to get served.

Get pieces of nice art here. Staff is so attentive, well explain in details. Even went extra miles to find boxes and wrap nicely for air travel. thanks for the excellent service ❤️
