The chicken was beyond delicious! Easily the best chicken I tried so far in Japan. Also it is naturally gluten-free because they use rice flour instead of wheat one. Next time you go to Kyoto this is a must! I tried the Kyoto Habanero amd Pink Barbie sauce, both are super tasty. The burgers were also very delicious.

Ordered the Cheese Loco Chicken burger, and it was very good. The chicken breast was soft and the burger is very tasty. Owners are friendly and the atmosphere is comfy. Only 4 seats inside though, I was lucky to come when empty, be prepared to queue for dine in.

Top-notch quality that had the perfectly cooked chicken slipping out of my fingers. Absolutely loved it! Here's what each of us ordered: Dad- Texas BBQ Burger BF- T-Rex Burger Son- Kyoto Habanero Chicken Burger Me- Cheese Loco chicken Burger (picture)

Great place with very nice people. We ate there three times during our stay in Kyoto. The menu is available in english, the chicken is tender and crispy, the Tacos very delicious. A nice break from traditional japanese food. Prices are fair and the staff is super friendly.

Ate in once, and take out once, both times the food was amazing, I do recommend their Cheese Loco Chicken with fries and soft drink set, they put effort in everything and they have an amazing and kind attitude towards customers, as well as a pretty ambience. The place is small, so it can be filled quickly, and they accept credit card, cash, and probably more methods. Loved it, will come again. The food is picture perfect or even better than the picture haha. Best chicken!!!

Ordered T rex and Loco Chicken Burger. Chicken was so thick and still juicy. The sauce is great as well, Loco chicken as this slighty sour, transparent lemon white looking sauce that enhance the entire burger, making you wanna have more. French fries, ordered with garlic butter sauce was great too, we added some harbenara sauce into it to give it a tinge of spiciness One comment I have is the store itself, abit stuffy..

Great tacos and burgers at a very reasonable price. They freshly fry the chicken and fish, so it was really good. I really like the Kyoto Habanero and Chipotle Lime. For those who don't like spicy foods, try the garlic butter. The service was very friendly and they can speak English really well. The place is a bit small though (only 5 people can fit, maybe 6 if you squeeze more space). Would definitely come again.

If we lived in Kyoto, I think my man would be here at least once a week. We were in Kyoto for 36 hours, and he had 4 burgers here. He’s already told all his friends and fellow chicken burger lovers. The chicken is so clean, and thick, and tender, and juicy. It’s a mouth-watering combo and it didn’t feel greasy at all. The sauces and vegetables were all on point as well. Huge congrats to the team for doing such a great job with this 👏🏻

I love this place so much I want to cry. Yesterday I sat down for dinner and today I got take-out. Both we’re equally as good; and the portion size is very generous for the price. The wait wasn’t too long and the atmosphere felt special. The staff is very kind and you can tell they put their heart into their service. Shame I’m only on Kyoto until tomorrow or I’d come here every day. (My pictures do not do this place justice)

Here you will for sure get a very special and very positive food experience. I ordered their bestseller cheese chicken burger. So delicious. 😋 Remember to order a “Lucky Chicken” IPA beer to accompany the Loco Chicken Burger 🍔🐥🍺. Enjoy.

Dropped in here for a late night snack, had the Nashville burger and was not disappointed! Good flavor combination and a decently sized burger. The fries were good too and they have a nice selection of sauces

Really jealous that this place is only in Kyoto. Please open a shop in Tokyo!! The chicken here is juicy, and while I’m not always a fan of the boneless kind, the Nashville spicy sauce went so well with the chickens flavor. I got a meal set, which comes with a generous amount of fries and a lemonade. Both were fantastic. The cheese burger was great, even though I’m not a big fan of the sweet/tangy sauce they use. Would definitely order a different flavor next time. Overall I definitely recommend the place of you’re looking for a high quality and affordable meal in Kyoto that’s not strictly Japanese.

Wow. You may be thinking how silly it is to eat something that is not Japanese while in Japan, but you certainly won’t regret it once you’ve had some fried chicken from here! This spot was recommended to us by the owner of Cavalier (amazing cocktail bar nearby). This place is a no frills fried chicken joint. They’ve got fried chicken platters, sandwiches, tacos, and wraps with many customizable flavor options. I got the Kyoto Habanero Chicken Sandwich, but I’m sure any of their options would be stellar because the chicken is the real star of the show. The chicken was huge, tender, and juicy, with flavor permeating throughout from the overnight marination I’m sure. The batter is different from the normal country fried style so it’s not as crispy, but the flavor and chicken quality are top tier. The spice wasn’t too overwhelming either, just a nice light burn. This is now in my top 3 for fried chicken. I lived in Nashville for 4 years and since then, I’ve been looking for fried chicken that’s on par with Nashville fried chicken. You would think you’d be able to find it in the NYC area, where I live now, but nope! I’ve found the best fried chicken in the most unlikely places: Big Island, Hawaii and now here in Kyoto, Japan. It’s a super small spot, but you can do takeout. When we got there at 11am on Thursday, it was empty. We got our sandwich in 5-10 mins and were on our way. They take credit card. Oh and BONUS, the sandwich only costs 980 yen!!

What a great spot that specializes in majorly creative chicken burgers with a Hawaiian twist. Super juicy Japanese chicken breasts piled high with an array of toppings. Slightly unusual in that chicken thighs seem to dominate in Japan, so a breast is a treat indeed. The problem is trying to decide which means repeated trips are required. Fresh hot fries as well as tart matcha lemonade in a compact four seater restaurant awash in Hawaiian decor. The owners are super nice and clearly are passionate about their chicken.

Little gem of a shop. Can only seat 5 people so spacing is limited. The food was delicious - the tacos are discounted on Tuesdays which is a bonus.

Honestly pretty amazing. I was not expecting to find a good fried chicken sandwich in Kyoto. We tried the Nashville & the Spicy Chicken. Highly recommend both. In terms of spice level they were maybe a 3/10, so don’t worry about it being too spicy. Owners were super friendly. They take cash & card. Just a heads up if you’re dining in there were only about 4 seats total.

This place has amazing fried chicken for Japan! Their chicken is entirely gluten free, although their buns for the sandwiches are not. The sauces all tasted great and there is a huge variety. We also had their lemonade and it was super good. If you are gluten free, check this place out, I had a wonderful experience!

Incredible friendly English fluent team! The burgers are way too good. So do not hesitate to visit! The matcha Limonade is a must try. The T-Rex is spicy but medium spicy so you can continue eating with pleasure. I will visit frequently. Thank you for your kindness, greatfood and service!

A chicken burger restaurant in Kyoto. I ordered the Kyoto Habanero Chicken Burger and it was fantastic. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the breading was delicious. The toppings were fresh and the fries crispy and good. One of the best chicken burger shops in the country. The shop accepts a variety of payments.

Tender juicy chicken burger with Korean and Texas influence! Has the drink Matcha Lemonade which was refreshing. Had a small hiccup of one of our burgers tasting kind of glassy and it was slightly undercooked, told the chef and replaced it with a new set. There is very little seating of 4 so most people do Ubereats or takeaway. It is our good’s friend favourite joint so we waited for about 30 mins. Other than the hiccup we enjoyed everything thoroughly.

Best chicken, burgers and fries. Try the lemonade too. Menu and flavors do not disappoint. Freshest and flavorful ingredients, array of salsas with delicious layers of flavor. Space is small and worth the wait, only seats 5-6. We waited and host apologized and let us sample the lemonade. The chef and host were so warm and inviting. Special place.

I got to-go box of Poke and chicken plate. it includes rice, potato salad, poke and 2 pieces of chicken. you can choose sauce for poke and also for chicken. (looks like poke is seasonal or not regular menu) I thought only 2 pieces chicken may not be enough but when I opened box I'm quite surprised how big chicken piece is! you can choose sauce for chicken per piece. my choice is Hawaiian salt and citrus tartar. salt is simple but the best. owner(excuse me if not)is very friendly, explain every menu and made recommendations. English menu is available. Credit card is accepted. highly recommend! :)

Lucky Chicken beer was the special beer. It’s a red IPA and it was delicious. Went great with the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and the fried chicken. I wanted to try all the sauces!
