CHOU UMAI! Good atmosphere, delicious food, and very friendly staff. They even taught me some Japanese. Would recommend!

Was looking for some BBQ and this was close to my hotel. The owner speaks English and was very nice in explaining the different dishes and how they should be eaten. Definitely recommend and I will be going back the next time I am in town.

Lamb was nice!! Do note that the restaurant only sells lamb, but the kind lady will teach you how to cook it :) Expect 3100yen per person for lamb set, and another 450 yen at least for first drink order.

Come to enjoy one of the best genghish khan in Hakodate, and the Japanese omotenashi that comes a long. Super friendly owner who will help you grill while talking about many things. The A set is quite great for 2 people. The lamb is super delish, firm with a tender texture and gamy flavor which is strangly refreshing compared to beef. A little Japanese will help you enjoy your time here to the utmost. Thank you owner san, I'll surely come again next time when I have the chance.

Overall, it’s good place with friendly staff and authentic BBQ style, but not recommended. Need to order set meal for each. Downside is that meat without one plate is a little bit gamier than others so I added garlic to the source in order to mask the smell. On top of that the price was around 10000 yen for two with 2 set meals, two glasses of alcohol, and one soft drink. Here isn’t reasonable.

Very disappointed! I saw the reviews are good and I wanted to try. Owner was friendly when he saw me and asked me if I speak Japanese. He started to look for a table for me then I told him we traveled with a wheelchair. His attitude changed all the sudden and told me it’s fully booked today. Terrible! Terrible! Discrimination!

Simple and delicious. I didn't eat much because I was trying to eat A LOT in Hakodate, but what I did have was very nice.

Great food, great service. I’m glad that this was my first meal in Hakodate. Awesome dining experience.
