Absolutely recommend, the food is scrumptious and extraordinary, especially the tomato curry, I am obsessed with the sweetness of the curry, it doesn’t taste extremely sweet just like other normal Japanese curry, the sweetness is just right for me. And it is more spicy than I expect which I do really love it 😋😋 Additionally the owner is extremely hospitable, it further enhance the whole experience and I would definitely visit again if I have the chance 😌😌 (To the owner: Thank you so much, you are one of the kindest person I have ever met, and I would like to say that this beautiful photo cannot be taken without your wonderful decoration, so once again thank you so much and you have make my day a lot better 😊😊🙌🏻🙌🏻)

Really nice curry! I personally like Dasaifu Curry more. The staff is super helpful. Cause I don’t understand Japanese, she’s trying everything to make me understand. Very welcoming. Atmosphere is also very nice. Relax and chill, local community vibe. Love this place so much!

An amazingly quiet, stylish cafe with pleasant jazz, wonderful tasty curry, and extremely friendly staff. The owner was an office worker until 52 years old, but inherited an old house and realized his long-held dream, combining two hobbies: making curry and jazz music. He opened the cafe in the midst of the pandemic in 2021, and luckily the cafe was able to survive these difficult times. There are only two curry options here and both are quite spicy. I recommend taking the option when both curries are served on the same plate. One of them is quite hot, but both are very tasty. And the coffee was served to me in an old-style 'Ko-Imari' cup. It's very close to the Dazaifu temple, which is very convenient. I recommend visiting for lunch or for a cup of coffee.

After visiting Dazaifu and getting hungry for lunch, I came upon this place and what a great surprise! I loved the Dazaifu curry. It had a fruity/sour taste which was delicious and different from the normal curry. I also had a chai which was one of the best I’ve ever drank. I think everything was ¥1200. I also liked the ambience of the cafe and the owner was so nice and patient with my poor Japanese, ありがとうございます!

Had lunch here after visiting the temple. It was very nice and quiet. The shop owner was very friendly, and we manage to communicate despite the language barrier. The curry was very flavourful, not the typical Japanese curry, definitely worth a try. Overall it was a pleasant experience. Thanks for the amazing food and hospitality. 😊

A beautiful, traditional cafe and restaurant. It was one of the nicest places I've visited so far. The ambience was wonderful, the tea was great and the owners of the restaurant were very kind and sweet :) It's not far from the tenman-gu temple either. 100% worth visiting!

Lovely tatami floored house, owner's wife was so nice and hospitable! Food was great, and the best thing is the atmosphere of the house.

After visiting the nearby shrine, we decided to stop by for lunch shortly after they opened.Between the unique setting, relaxing music and superb food, it made for an unforgettable dining experience. Highly encourage anyone to go and support their business with your patronage. The Dazaifu curry dish will leave you planning a future visit. 5 stars is not enough for this place. Thank you Sawa we will see you again!
