This restaurant was such a nice experience. I loved the food! Their gyukatsu was simply amazing. Looked amazing and was very flavorful. Loved the fact that you could cook that beautiful cut of meat to your preference. Arrived on a Friday morning about an hour before they opened and was among the first group to be seated. Seating was quite limited as most small sized restaurants are. Glad I showed up early cause the restaurant line was seriously packed as I left. 5/5 food service and atmosphere.

Queued over an hour on a public holiday just to get in and was richly rewarded with the best beef cutlet that I have ever had in my life! The beef was flashed-fried in breadcrumbs and comes out to you raw so that you can decide how well you want your beef to be. You then cook it over a hot stone and pair it with the dipping sauces that are provided. However, I like it best with a little bit of wasabi as it cuts through the juicy fat with that tinge of refreshness! Come prepared to queue and enjoy!

If you're reading this while you're in line outside the restaurant, stay in the line. It is worth it. We stood in line for about 1 hour before we were seated. Despite the very quick service, queueing took that long because the restaurant had very limited space and there were a lot of people who want to dine in. The menu contains only gyukatsu in different serving sizes, so you know they're confident about it. Gyukatsu is beef coated in breading. And the one they serve is glorious. The beef is soft as butter. But that also depends on how you cook it. The beef will normally be served medium-rare. You will be provided a stone grill to further cook the meat, if you want. Grill it for just the right amount of time, and you are bound to have one of the best meals of your trip. The sauces provided elevate the experience, too.

A tiny restaurant on 2nd floor offers the best beef cutlet I ever have. The restaurant only has 10 seats. Hence it’s around 1 hour wait to get inside. I’ll say the wait is worthy as the beef cutlet is amazing!

Long queue. Recommended to arrive restaurant before opening hours for waiting because the restaurant can take around 12-15 persons per round. If you missed the first lot, you need to wait around at least 1 hour. It's not expensive but in my opinion, the taste and quality of beef are just average. So, it's not worth to waste time for waiting.

Amazing food, honestly worth coming to Japan for. Just for this. We always try to eat here twice every Japan trip, and it never disappoints! Always get the biggest one on the menu. You will not regret.

You need to spend one to two hours queuing. Quite big portion. Taste good for meat lovers.

Absolutely delicious!!! 10/10. My only regret is - I should have ordered two slides of cutlet instead of just one. Will definitely come again next time I am in town.

Delicious meal! Katsu is served on the rarer side so you can cook and adjust the taste based on how you like. Servers are extremely nice, and used to hand language when you need water, etc lol. If I can have feedback on other things, I would recommend to adjust the ventilation as it is extremely smoky inside.

It's a small shop and there are only 12 counter seats. It opens at 10am. 40 minutes before the restaurant opens there will be a long queue. The staffs are friendly and able to speak English. Their service is already very fast but I still waiting for about an hour. The Gyukatsu is tasty and very tender. I like to dip it garlic sauce and eat together with their rice. (Second bowl of rice is free) But the side dishes are horrible. The shop is small, so it get a bit smokey. It accept cash and cards. It's a unique experience, I don't think you can find a nicer beef Katsu.

Best meal in Tokyo! Meat is wagyu by the way. It comes only fried so you cook it yourself on a small stove. Staff is great and place is small so expect a line if you come during typical lunch/dinner hours. We came at about 4 o’clock and had to wait 20mins but by the time we left the line was twice as long. Cabbage dressing was a banger and I wish they sold it, would definitely buy!

Simply amazing. They only serve one thing, breaded wagyu beef that is served rare and grilled at the table. When eaten with wasabi and soy sauce, the taste and texture are incredible. I much prefer it to tonkotsu (pork). The meal also comes with lots of other goodies: - Barley rice - Cod roe - Grated yams - Miso soup - Warabimochi - Some small pickled vegetables - Shredded cabbage - Some condiments like wasabi and sauces Be aware, this place is pretty popular so there will likely be a line. The space can seat around 10.

Came on a weekday 12pm. It’s popular. Waited half an hour to enter. Staff is efficient and polite. Beef is good. No matter how long you cook it, it remains soft. Will revisit if possible.

We got the beef cutlet set that includes miso soup and iced high ball. The cutlet itseld is crispy and crunchy and the outside while the meat inside is tender, moist and flavorful. The sides are good too. Our only minor concern is the tight seating.

Since the food is oily and fatty, it will taste very good in your first 5 bites. After that, you won't enjoy it as much. Nonetheless, i think everyone should give this a try

One of the best Gyukatsu out there and there is no surprise there is always a queue from the very 1st min it's doors open in the late morning. Do note all sets comes with 3 side dishes ( can't recall all but refer to me pics. ) and you can request to have them removed at -100yen per side dish. In the menu it states a set that comes with a pint of suntory beer or highball but in reality, the cost is the same as adding then as ala carte, thus there is no need to order alcohol at the start ( although who does that ? ) :) Most outlets have its main seating either basement or it's 2nd level, thus there is always steps. You can't sit on the steps as well, so do take note if you are coming with your elderly. Food wise, there is really nth to complain except they could give more meat LOL! You can request for 1 free top-up of the barley rice 🍚. Place accepts IC and credit cards so eat it fuss free! Staff mostly knows how to speak English, or most to most just point. It is very very straightforward as there is only 1 type of meal! In the span of 10 days on Japan, I ate this 3 times. I would have eaten more times if not for the queue. Please cater at least 45 to 1 hour wait time at all times of the day.
