Very high on cleanliness. Not crowded. Large waiting hall. And as always, all ferries are dot on time.

Fast, clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

There are some shops in this terminal and you can buy souvenirs and local products such as tuna jerky, miso made with locally grown black rice, preserves, fruit jello, sun dried fishes etc. I saw a sign of cafe but I didnt have time to check.

Slow ferry

2024.01.31 The entrance to Tokashiki Island, located on the east side of the island. I've been to the island several times and have used the port, but I've never spent time relaxing at the port because I had to get on the hotel's shuttle right away. It's a weekday in January, so it's empty, but in season, the ferry itself is full.

This is the port we arrived at when visiting Tokashiki Island from Naha. The closest remote island from the main island of Okinawa? I don't know if it's because of this, but I really liked the unique feeling of being on a remote island.
