Breathtakingly gorgeous! Feels worlds away from the Japan you're used to. One of the most beautiful scenic spots I've ever seen in Japan. Will have to come back in a summer season to experience the island when everything is lush and green. Loved it.

Once in a life time experience. If you like hiking and amazing scenery view, you should definitely visit here. They don’t have a public transport to reach here and it’s very far from the port. So waking seems unreachable. But you can rent a bicycle or a car. The road from the port to cliff is very steep, even if we are sitting in the car. You can choose to hike from bottom or from the top, it takes about 1.5 hours (slow walk).

Awesome place. Truly the highlight of nishinoshima. The day we went it was very very windy so we couldn't enjoy it that much but nonetheless it was good.

My American friend was so impressed by the view of the island, it became the highlight of our trip. If you like hiking, this is a great place to visit. Photographs will only tell you a little about the great view.
