This bed and breakfast was a fabulous experience for our family. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Location is very convenient. Hostesses were very welcoming and provided amazing breakfast. Their coffee offerings were top notch and the affogato was out of this world. Highly recommended if you can reserve a stay when on Naoshima.

Everything is great. The rooms are very nice and stylish the location is very close to the bus stop and to the bike rental. But most of all, the people here are amazingly friendly. In our whole trip of Japan this was our most friendly welcome. Definitely a recommend! Ps. The breakfast is very delicious as well. The best breakfast for us so far!

My partner and I spent 4 nights at Francoile in June. The rooms are comfortable, stylish and clean. Breakfasts provided were great. Location is very good, there's a shuttle bus stop just outside of the accommodation. But above all, the hosts are lovely people who made us feel welcome and provided all the information and assistance we could need without being at all intrusive. A stay at Francoile is a real treat!

Francoîle is a relaxing, beautiful, excellently managed, and family-operated bed and breakfast. Spacious (super clean) room and bathroom with reliable/fast wifi. Great place to rest after biking on the islands. Close to the bus station and a great dinner option called Cafe Salon Naka-Oku. Breakfast and coffee were amazing!

Delightful, modern spacious room. Huge shower, no bath. Good WiFi. Wonderful hosts with a good command of English that was very useful for restaurant bookings, transport advice etc. Very good coffee and English tea. Delicious Breakfasts. Recommended without hesitation.

Without a doubt (one) the best of all stops in Japan. Very nice and helpful owners who roast and prepare a superb mixture of coffee beans. Naoshima is a friendly island with even more friendly people. Do not forget to visit th Chi Chu modern arts museum. A fantastic mixture of modern minimalistic architecture, beautiful and interesting use of (sun)light angles, Monet's paintings and a great scenic view of the sea at the bar's terrace.

This fantastic pit stop is run by a lovely couple. We had a whitebait sandwich which was delicious, matcha late and a flat white which we seriously enjoyed. Highly recommend taking a visit.

Highly recommend Francoile for your stay!! The couple that runs it is very accommodating and helped us book a restaurant for dinner since choices were very limited. We also did not have much time for breakfast so the owner offered to drive us to the port so that we did not have to rush. The room itself was spacious and very clean. I appreciated all the little touches and the price is also very affordable. Felt like a home away from home. Location on the east side of the island does make it hard if you want to go to the ferry at the main port. We took the boat to the Naoshima port and the bike rentals were all closed in the area so that was a little bit of a bummer. Overall, I am happy I stayed here.

One of the best bed and breakfast that we've been to by far. Breakfast was pretty darn good. Location nearby the bus stop if you wanted to head to the west side. Rooms were spacious and clean. Outlets in the room were only in one spot. Water pressure was excellent. Toilet paper was only 1 ply. The hosts were wonderful and some of the nicest people I ever met. If I ever get the chance to stop by this island again, I'd stay here.

Great stay right by the Art House Project. Large and stylish rooms, delicious breakfast, super helpful host and great coffee. Can't ask for more.

👍 All the food was delicious and kind. The atmosphere is good and I would like to visit this shop when I come to Naoshima again. I couldn't take a picture, but the fish was delicious. I'm glad you explained how to eat it.
