Some of the best sushis in town, most popular joint amongst locals for a reason. Expect a long lineup but a wonderful experience overall

Fantastic sushi and well run operation. Even before stepping into the restaurant, you can tell it's a very well run place with people directing parking areas. We arrived at 11.45 (45mins into opening time) and the restaurant was already full and we were the 25th group waiting for a table, so it shows how popular it gets. The sushi was absolutely delicious with local fish as well, and the English menu had most of the dishes. Our favourites were the ootoro of course, the local fish, the fried stingray (have never had anything quite like it) and the cuttlefish. The uni was a letdown - not a creamy consistency and not flavourful. We went through a solid 22 plates for about ¥8000, not bad! Highly recommend if you're after some solid sushi.

Very nice sushi place. The mayo burned dishes were amazing. I tried the piripiri aji tuna for a kick. Lots of shichimi so didnt disappoint. The majority was tuna when i visited but the salmon is equally tasty. The fin was a bit chewy but tasty. They offer their own soy sauce and a sweet version. Be sure to check out all their menus and not just the English one.

Fresh fish and seafood as their ingredients, the sushi restaurant has pretty high quality dishes and good atmosphere even during weeknights. There’s quite a number of tourists these days. You May want to avoid ordering, as they put only the freshest ones on the conveyor belt.

This conveyer belt sushi restaurant is a complete mind-blow for someone like me who lives in Los Angeles. The quality of the fish is on par or better than any high end sushi restaurant in LA. The sizes are big and the prices are so cheap. A huge selection too. A fun atmosphere and friendly service. I ate so much, I was completely stuffed and the bill was like $20. I wish I could eat here everyday.

First sushi train experience and it was unbelievable. Made to feel immediately welcomed and there weren’t any communication barriers (English menu provided). Store was vibrant and clean, and the everything you’d hope for in a sushi train (service robot included). We had about 10 plates and only paid 4000 Yen, so worth it! We went at reopening at 5pm so there wasn’t a line, but it did fill up quite quickly. Enjoy :)

It was lunch time and we were hungry when we came from the ferry but we had to queue abt. 15min .. The sushi dishes were so delicious that I forgot to make photos. We left the restaurant full and satisfied.

So good! Not to be missed when in Kagoshima. This is the sushi restaurant you want to go to for super fresh excellent sushi without ruining your travel budget. Big conveyer belt full of sushi to choose from, with colour code plates for price per plate. Also very clear English menus available with the same. Directly opposite the fish port & market, so shorter supply lines for fresh products impossible. Hugely popular with locals, but being a big restaurant, the waiting time was limited to 15-30 minutes on a Wednesday 18:30. Although we each had a plate of Bluefin Tuna with the 3 types of fatty flesh, their most expensive at ¥1030 per plate, all other plates were between 250-600, so we left very satisfied for ¥2375 per person. One of the best sushi meals we ever had in Japan and abroad.

We visited at around 2 PM on a Friday. The restaurant is still quite busy. The waiting time was a bit less than half an hour. We loved the food there. Fresh fish and nicely prepared sushi. The service was responsive and polite. Plus that they provided two types of soy sauce. The traditional one is a bit salty to my taste, and the sweat soy sauce is just fine for me.

Excellent festive fun full atmosphere because of the colorful costume the sushi chefs are wearing. The fish quality is above average for sushi train shops. Excellent service . Long queue if don’t go early. But they provide a panoramic view of Dolphin Bay for you stare at while you wait!

Arrived at 1:45pm (last order 2:30pm) but the shop only allowed us to make take away order as the dine in queue was so long. The sushi was fresh and tasty. The waiter can speak English.

A sushi boat place. They are westerner friendly. The sushi is very good. Custom orders are delivered very quickly. The beer robot is a hoot. I highly recommend this establishment. Great sushi at a reasonable price and very good service.

Large conveyor belt sushi restaurant. There was a queue but it went pretty fast. Self serve drink bar (take a plate). English menus and bells to get the chefs attention, but tons of selection from the belt. Good quality and lots of higher tier options. Delicious otoro!

Excellent fresh conveyor belt sushi, fast service off menu (only ordered a soda though) and self service hot water and matcha and ginger. Must request wasabi separately. For 2 of us, we only spent 3000 JPY. Lots of diff toro fatty tuna options, my favorite. They tally up the plates and costs at the end. Highly recommend!

Possibly the best sushi I had on a three week trip to Japan. Fresh and delicious !

Very delicious. The fish all tasted very fresh. It was ¥3300 for two of us. You can take plates off the converyor belt or order something from the chef.

Great sushi, I asked them if there was a gluten-free option, they immediately understood what I meant and brought an allergen document, you can eat the rice and fish that are without sauce, so I ordered Nigri

A lovely sushi place with great food. I really liked the center isle seats where you can observe the chefs at work.

Excellent and wellmade sushi, fresh ingredients with lovely presentation! Had a young server who spoke good English that was assigned to take good care of us! Tiptop service to boot!

Great sushi place! I especially liked the buri and kanpachi here. There's an English menu for tourists too, which is very helpful

Really great sushi considering it's conveyor belt (which I would have normally avoided if not for the fabulous reviews). Kid friendly place with a small section of toys and books for the little ones while they wait. High chairs available. There was a line when we first arrived, but the crowd moved fast. Well worth the short wait. Service was good, the chef noticed I wasn't eating my giant raw shrimp head and offered to fry it for me at no additional charge. The various tuna cuts were delicious ! Location at Dolphin port was nice, the atmosphere was chilled out with space for kids to run around after dinner.

It is good but not the best in Japan. The store manager is very friendly and energetic. We asked for wasabi but didn’t get it after a while. The manager caught the word and asked if we needed Wasabi and immediately prepared it for us from the bar table. Seafoods are fresh. Please expect to wait for 30 minutes during meal time👍

Great food, great atmosphere, great area and great staff. A huge variety of food items available, including both raw and cooked items. A nice touch was the conveyor belt is two tiered, the top serves the sushi and the bottom holds cups and sauce dishes. There was an impromptu selling of fresh tamagoyaki in the shape of a heart, given I was with my girlfriend, we were offered a plate. They have a cool system that tabulates your bill, just by stacking your plates and they move a wand over the plates and your bill is automatically calculated!
