Keller-olut näyttää olevan tärkein olut, mikä on harvinaista Japanissa. Se on voimakkaampaa kuin japanilainen olut, mutta älä huoli, siihen tottuu, kun sitä juo. A nice change from Japanese food, good German food and a good selection of beer. The proprietors are friendly and helpful. It's in the historical area of town, nice area to walk around on the way to and from the restaurant.

We had a business party here with about 20 members team and it was a life time experience. They serve German beers and other alcoholic beverages. The foods are mostly European and very tasty. Make sure you try their sausages, they are simply mouth watering. In a place like Uchiko, a dinner here will be memorable. The hosts are extremely good, the service is excellent, the place although small, is highly recommended to all.

Our guesthouse (Sen Guesthouse Matsuyama) recommended this place. Located on a beautiful historic street that resembles the old streets of Kyoto. The couple that owns it were working there and very friendly. They explained that much of the food they serve is made with locally grown ingredients. they get their meat from is a local guy who trained in Germany and is a Meister. We ordered a bit of everything, sausages with mustard, potato dish, bread, mashed potatoes and schnitzel. The owner/cook is from Germany and delivered the authentic taste for each dish. They serve a really thoughtful selection of beers. This place is worth the drive from anywhere in Ehime or Kochi.

I absolutely love this restaurant! The owners are good friends and very friendly. Jens is an amazing cook and Chisato a wonderful hostess. Anyone who visits Uchiko should definitely check them out! You can converse in English, German, or Japanese with them!
