I highly recommend this dental clinic. Out of all the dentists that I’ve been to in Tokyo, this is the only place that I can say that I’m 100% satisfied with. Their treatments never hurt and they always make sure that you’re comfortable. I’ve had cleaning, whitening and filling done with them and I only have good things to say about it. They don’t pressure you into treatments that you don’t want and will just answer your inquiries and leave things for you to decide. The atmosphere reminds me of my clinic back home, where you look forward to every visit and it doesn’t feel like its just a business. The staff are really friendly, they don’t rush you and they always make you feel welcome. Something that’s not so common with dental clinics in Japan(atleast for the ones that I’ve been to). I love this clinic so much that I’m at the point where I’m conflicted on leaving a review because it might get too popular and I won’t be able to book reservations anymore. Overall, I’m really glad that I discovered this place.

Wow! I’ve never had such a pleasant experience at the dentists! The team at Smile Hills were absolutely wonderful, all of them were informative and attentive, and the service they provided was incredibly professional. My teeth feel amazing ( despite not having a check-up in a long time due to being worried about doing it in a foreign country ) and I’m really looking forward to coming back! I highly highly recommend this dental clinic - I couldn’t speak highly enough of their team and how great their treatment was! Will be recommending it to anyone who is looking for affordable but high quality dental care in Tokyo 🦷💜

This is such a wonderful dentistry. All of the staff is friendly and professional. They speak fluent English and Japanese, and offer excellent services. You can speak to the receptionist in English on the phone (rare here in Tokyo), so communication is always easy and Dr. Nao is able to explain everything medical in very clear, natural English. They accept Japanese National health insurance, but also offer many optional services that go beyond Japanese National Health Insurance limitations. They are great with my kids and with us as adults. The office and equipment is clean and modern with a lot of cutting edge medical technology. I cannot recommend Smile Hills highly enough. They really are exceptional, especially for an expat like me whose Japanese isn’t very good. It takes about 2 minutes to walk to their office from Nakameguro station, so it’s very convenient.

Unbelievably pleasant. No pain or discomfort (cleaning + whitening). Consultation was a cruise, loved their tech. The staff were very kind and spoke perfect English. After avoiding the dentist for 5 years, my perception of dental visits has changed thanks to this clinic. I wholeheartedly recommend them to friends and family.

Smile Hills is the best dentistry I have had. I am quite picky about my dentist so I have never been a "regular" at a dental clinic until now. The clinic looks very new and stylish and is up to date technology wise. This ace is great especially if you are afraid of the dentist. They use aroma therapy and I felt like I was in a spa. All the employees that work here are top quality and speak great English. The receptionist is friendly and polite, the hygienist is gentle and thorough at cleaning and Nao is the best! She patiently listened to my concerns about my teeth and suggested procedures to align them as I had always been self conscious about the gap in my teeth. I never felt I was being pushed to do unnecessary procedures and my teeth look much straighter and more beautiful than ever before! She is also very kind hearted and recommended me to see her mother who is an eye doctor on the first floor. Now I can get my eyes and teeth checked in the same place! I recommended her to two of my foreign coworkers and they really liked this place as well and I know you will too.

I struggled to find a dentist in Tokyo that cared about dental health as well as appearance but Smile Hills is so great! Dr. Nao is really great and very personable. The office is really nice and relaxing, and the aroma therapy is a nice extra touch during procedures. They also use the latest technology, and there’s a large monitor at each seat so you can clearly see X-rays and before and after shots. They accept credit cards for dental work not covered by insurance and everyone is so friendly. I actually enjoy coming to the dentist now! Highly recommend!!

They provided very comfortable customer service in a completely private room! All the staff seem to be fluent in English and there seem to be many foreign patients☺️ It's been 3 years since I last saw a dentist, but I regret that I don't go to the dentist regularly🙈 When I said it before, it was beautiful, but now that I don't go there, it seems like I have some pigmentation! It was cleaned and looks great! ! I had my first dental appointment in Japan here. The dentist, Nao-sensei, and the dental hygienist, Junko-sensei, were both amazing. I will be coming back here for all my dental needs!!

Not a fan of dentists normally but staff made the end to end process stress free, informative and even enjoyable. I appreciated the walk through from the xrays and discussion on care and treatment plan. Staff here are considerate and genuinely seem to want the absolute best for their patients. Highly recommended and less than 5 minutes walk from the station.

Looking for a new go-to dental clinic in Tokyo, I was warmly recommended this clinic by a friend of mine who said he made only good experiences. After my visit, I can definitely extend that recommendation: The location is less than a minute walk from the station and thus very easy to get to. The clinic is super clean and all the staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable; all in English too! My treatment was quick, painless and more than holds up to the standards of my favorite dental clinic from back home. The very friendly staff and great treatment will definitely have me come back. I was also given an English language receipt for the treatment that my international health insurance accepted without further remarks. 5/5

The inside of the hospital is very nice and clean. The music and scents are sophisticated and give a sense of security. A treatment plan presents many options. During the treatment, each process will be explained to you in detail. All the staff are kind. The staff including the director speak English fluently. Best of all, this is the best dental clinic I've ever been to.

Went for treatment for a crown that fell off back molar on 22 Sep 2022. First time using dentist outside of United States. Misaki san the receptionist spoke perfect English and was extremely courteous and helpful. She managed to move my appointment up a week early. Dr. Nao spoke perfect English and Chinese and was very pleasant. She did a comprehensive xray that was more detailed than the ones I received in the U.S. and provided me with the results. Then she examined my tooth, salvaged the crown, and cemented it back in place all within one hour. She provided honest and professional service with a smile and didn't try to add services by convincing me that I needed to pay for a new crown or extra services on the tooth. Highly recommend this clinic.

Fantastic dental clinic, even for gnarly structural work like pulling out broken wisdom teeth and fixing cracked molars with custom inlays. Nao-sensei is great, and so is the rest of the staff. Everybody is friendly, speaks English if needed, knows how to use email, etc. Also, the clinic is very high tech. Large wall-mounted computer displays to see X-rays and photos, the latest advanced dental materials, etc. Feels like what a Tokyo dental clinic in 2023 should be. Highly recommended!

I received treatment for my four front teeth after a ball hit my teeth while playing baseball. Thank you for your help in ceramic treatment, whitening, cleaning, and even making a sports mouth guard. When I received the treatment, he consulted with me and drew up a plan from 1 to 10, and in less than a month he had a perfect finish, and the director's skill was truly amazing. The director was very kind and polite, always asking me, ``Do you have any concerns?'' every time I finished my treatment. Also, I got rid of all the images of pain at the dentist, and the treatment was completed without any pain. During the cleaning, a doctor who wasn't the director treated me, but everyone was kind, skillful, and thorough, and I was amazed at how beautiful my skin could become. He's a really great dentist. I will go again! ! ! If you want to go to the dentist, I recommend "Smile Hills Nakameguro Dental Clinic".

I found this place when I was looking for a dentist to clean my teeth as I was working overseas. Since we were in a unique situation where we had limited time before traveling, I had to ask a lot of questions over the phone to make a reservation, but the receptionist was polite and sincere in responding even though they were busy. I had never before been treated so well at the reservation stage, so even before I went I had a good impression that it was a very nice hospital. On the day of the procedure, the doctor gave me accurate advice tailored to my situation, and I ended up having a cleaning, but the person in charge of the procedure was also very polite and pleasant. At the end, she sent me a surprise message, which was very comforting to me as I was about to go abroad, and I was moved. I would like to boast this as a Japanese-style hospitality experience overseas. There are some options that I could not select this time due to time constraints, so I would like to visit you again after I return to Japan.

My family is taking care of me. The teachers and all the staff are attentive and polite. This time I went in due to a sudden problem, but the director's quick judgment and treatment helped me recover quickly. I think he is the ideal dentist: fast, thorough, and painless. Up until now, when I heard about going to the dentist, I used to feel anxious about going to the dentist, thinking that it would be scary or that it would hurt, but at this clinic, I can go to the dentist with no stress at all thanks to the high level of skill of the director. I also appreciate that it's just a short walk from Nakameguro Station. I will continue to take care of you and your family.

The day before my trip, I chipped a back tooth that I had previously had repaired, so I hurriedly visited this nearby clinic. They responded immediately and got things back to normal. In the future, this back tooth will need to be re-treated. All the staff were very courteous. Thank you for your prompt treatment. I would like to request treatment when I return from my trip.
