Inexpensive quality food in a quaint corner at Nozawa Onsen. Drop by for the tapas selection and drinks. Salad was filling and made use of the local veggies specific to the area. Liver spread was just ok. Meatballs were tasty and was served with a bright tomato sauce - I just wish this same sauce could've been served with pasta as well. Huge serving of truffle Mac and cheese. I didn't taste the truffle oil but I wasn't mad at it. Total cost for 4 dishes and 1 drink was less than Β₯5,000 for 2 people so value for money wasn't bad at all.

The owners are so so nice. They are so friendly and they are willing to help with anything at all! Their cheese boards are amazing and so are their drinks! They have a wide variety of wine, craft beer etc. Definitely one of the best bars in Nozawa Onsen!

Delicious tapas place in Nozawa Onsen. The server working when our group went was awesome (tall Australian dude with tattoos). Big Aussie Rules fan so we had a good chat about footie. He did an awesome job and the food was AWESOME. I found the tasting board to be worth the money and there were some awesome meats and cheeses on offer. Good value for money and the taste was awesome. We shared two bottles of malbec around the table and it was awesome. Easy drinking so their classification of it being a "session red" was spot on. We moved down to Juntos after and the server called ahead to get us a table sorted. Great experience and I wish I could go back soon.

We had a great evening here with a group of friends. The wine recommendations and the custom charcuterie boards they prepared for us were excellent. Great service too. Would definitely recommend making a reservation though as it’s a popular spot and filled up as the night went on. I messaged them on FB in the morning to make an evening dinner reservation and they were really quick to respond.

Great place to grab a glass of wine and a delightful charcuterie board. The staff is lovely and speaks English. The charcuterie was so nice, I forgot to take a pic before diving into it!

Really good food that matches the wine perfectly. We ordered 2 bottles of white wine (Chardonnay from Spain and Riesling from Germany). Special thanks to Kana-san for making our time at the IVY fun! Dips and olives are must-eats.

So nice to get off the mountain and have a dreamy glass of wine with some tapas and cheese. Staff were super friendly, prices really reasonable and happy hour is 3-5. I ended up here most afternoons and often filled up so much on the delicious food and dessert I didn’t need dinner πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

😐 This little brewery was just okay. Maybe the hype of having a brewery on a ski hill has its ratings so high but I found most of the beer to be disappointing. The Nozawa Onsen White beer is one of the best locally, others on the list could be improved. Really liked the decor. Standing room only.

😠 Worst beer in Japan. The two girls behind the bar obviously do not like each other, one looked liked she hadn’t showered or brushed her hair in several days, and both were eating, drinking and using their phones behind the bar, totally ignoring their customers. It’s about as far away from Heaven as...

😠 I must say, I left pretty disappointed. The service was a letdown, especially with one lady on the staff being quite rude. Food was just average, nothing that wowed me. The whole setup felt like a total tourist trap, even though some reviews hype it up. I'd suggest managing your expectations; my exp...
