Bar Parking lot Public parking space

👍 The road to the parking lot is steep and narrow, and there is no place to pass each other, so if an oncoming car comes, you might get nervous. There is an entrance fee for dogs, but if you bring your own lunch, you can have a relaxing time. Apparently they also rent out barbecue sets. Just bring you... People often mention nature, great,

The road to the parking lot is steep and narrow, and there is no place to pass each other, so if an oncoming car comes, you might get nervous. There is an entrance fee for dogs, but if you bring your own lunch, you can have a relaxing time. Apparently they also rent out barbecue sets. Just bring your own materials. It seems that he does not take day baths now. There is only one room where you can stay with your pet. My dog got angry at Mr. Bell, but after that Mr. Bell kept his distance and then stayed nearby. Very intelligent and freeing. There is a parking lot for 5 cars, but when I entered the parking lot, I was unable to avoid it. lol However, she's a very friendly girl and she's so cute! Small children may lose their strength and become scared. This is a place that I would like people who value nature to use. Of course, take your trash home with you. Bell isn't on a leash, so it seems like he's patrolling regularly, which is interesting. The owner was a youthful person who didn't look like he was 75 years old! I'll bother you again.

I stayed at the hotel, but was forced to pay an additional fee when checking out. They always explain things that are not in the terms and conditions in broken Japanese. Japan's GDP is third in the world, so my hourly wage is 5,000 yen! ! That's why they asked me to pay at least an additional 5,000 yen for the extra effort. I definitely don't recommend using this place. On the other hand, I kept being told things that weren't true, and if I got angry, I ended up acting like I could just go home, so I'm glad. This is my home! So I'm right! ! I'm so tired I haven't come to hear your sermon. Staying overnight is a waste of time All we had to do was pay 30,000 yen for 4 people and stay in a cold old folk house with a dirty bathroom. I don't want to come again. I don't recommend it.

If you love nature and are up for an adventure, then Steve's place is for you! From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in a fun community. Steve is friends with many of his neighbors, and the time we spent with all of them, both individually and collectively, was part of what made this a memorable experience for us. We felt we made lifelong friends here. This place is a great getaway from the fast pace of the city. You can really enjoy the small community feeling and there are plenty of places to explore. It was wonderful to hear the sound of the river and the rain on the roof. The space was clean and we felt very at home and safe while we were there. We definitely will visit again next time we are in Japan. Steve made us feel like family.

This was a great place to come and stay for a few days. The setting is beautiful. Right next to the river that you can hear at night. The rabbits are cute. The rooms are simple tatami rooms and are very comfortable and roomy as we were given a second room adjoined to our sleeping room for sitting and chatting. The onsen was very relaxing and a real treat after spending the day in the natural surroundings. The old building is being renovated so you can see the development of the place but it did not detract from the peaceful stay.

A very nice campsite, quiet and surrounded by nature. However, the restrooms on the mountain side site are too wild, so I would not recommend it for women, so I am giving it 4 stars.

Akiu Canada is a hot spring ryokan style hotel in the Akiu area of Sendai. It's a rather unusual system where if you choose to, you can earn your stay. You can pay like a regular hotel but since the place is still being brought up to par after many years of neglect. The new owner wants the work to get done as quickly as possible. Despite being just 30 minutes from downtown Sendai, it's very peaceful and secluded by the Natori River. Prices are very reasonable, check them out on Airbnb at Akiu Canada

The onsen (hot spring ) is nice & clean with natural water that’s good for the skin! The animals are cute & fun to play with! The sound of the river is nice to sleep/ wake up to! And in the summer it’s nice for swimming! Steve is a great host & his kids a great, too!

Wonderful place to slow down, relax and enjoy nature! Stayed here for a month and the owner is a great host! Helped me in translating, finding, buying a car and advised what to see around. Cannot recommend more!

Friends, family, living history, quiet, nature, fun, relaxing, warm, good food, traditional, - all these can be yours. We have traveled to many places around the world but find places where we can live in history to be the best. This also has home comforts and great friendly service. Steve is a wonderful host. Enjoy!

Great getaway if you know what to expect: an old building and large property being rennovated as it is open to guests. Do not expect luxury! But you are not paying for it either with the very reasonable pricing. Instead you are greeted by an amazing riverside view and perfect location for detox, meditation, and chance to rediscover nature, and maybe even yourself. Worth a visit for the Rabbit Garden alone!

I went to Akiu Canada with my friends to enjoy the riverside scenery and family atmosphere. We baked bread together, played with the rabbits and explored a hidden cave. After a relaxing bath in the onsen, we spent the night in a simple, traditional Japanese tatami room. If you need something, Steve is happy to help. A recommendation for anyone who wants to have a quiet vacation and enjoy Japan's nature.
