Decent section of English language books.... but unless you need it right away, perhaps better to order online for the price.

This Tsutaya is really convenient for finding Japanese language learning textbooks, especially for the JLPT. They also have dual language books, and books on various topics in English. There is a Tully's Coffee Shop located in Tsutaya, which has ample seating, free wifi, and study/work areas for laptop users. Although not close to the train station, it is easy to get to by bus and is quite close to the Hitachi Seaside Park, Fashion Cruise Mall, and places like Starbucks and McDonalds.

Huge bookstore (>3000 square metres?) with a broad selection of new books, magazines and manga in Japanese and English. There are also videogames and things for home and hiking. Used items are also available.

Large bookstore with a fair collection of English books. The Tully's coffee also has English books as decorations, but you can read them with your coffee as well.

北関東最大級の書店 流石の品揃えに加え食料品やアウトドアグッツなども扱っている他、テナントとして子供服などを扱う西松屋や脱毛サロン（？）Mottoなどが入っており更に喫茶店TULLY'S COFFEEが併設されている。 蔦屋としては珍しくレンタルは扱っていない

とにかく本屋スペースも駐車場も併設のタリーズも広いです。夜10時までやっていて便利。最高です。
