A large seafood market that caters to seafood lovers. Located a station away from sapporo station. This place is a must visit if you want to taste the delectable sushi, sashimi & seafood donburi freshly served at your own pleasure. Prices range from middle to high depending on what you crave for. Worth revisiting again.

Great taste and value - head to the smaller shop next to the large blue shop! This shop has seating area and allow you to choose half portion of bbq and Steamed cooking methods for the crabs. Best way to taste the full flavour of crab is to steam it. The natural sweetness and ease of pulling off the meat was * chefs kiss * but then bbq option had to come in to balance out the "jelakness" (satiety). Overall spent SGD165 on medium size hairy crab and medium size king crab. Enough of crab overdose from a meal 🤣

If you would like to dine here, be sure to arrive before 2.30pm as the meal services generally end at about 2.30pm, while groceries will stop selling at 6pm. Generally nice place to be at, decent prices and wide varieties

Lovely market to visit, it’s a street with shops on both sides selling many crabs and other local produce. I really enjoyed my visit here, we managed to walk up and down several times as it isn’t a very big market but the quality is definitely up there. Most stores offered samples, which meant it was very easy to get a taste of all the food they offer there. The corn was a particular hit — sweetest sweet corn I have ever had! I think this is a very good place to visit, we went fairly early for breakfast and it wasn’t crowded at all. Come with an appetite if you’re planning to eat a meal here, especially if you’re going to try samples! There’s so many cool things, and many I had never tried before like squid jerky and atla mackerel and all sorts of things. Very cool!

Interesting place with a lot of shops selling crab and other sea food. But I think you have to come very early. At 3pm most of the shops are either closed or closing and felt too rush so may visit another time. Also seems a bit hard to judge what is good or how much to pay (personally). So in the end, went to a place with snow crab buffet instead. Here would probably be very fresh and expensive. But didn’t try.

Every time my family and I come here, we always buy something in the morning, usually some seafood and octopus sashimi, and the fruits are all reasonable. After I bought it, he helped me pack it into the box and send it to the plane.

Navigating through Sapporo Crab Market, I felt the tourist trap undertow, but the crab freshness shone through, albeit with the expected price twists for us visitors. On the bright side, no extra charges for cooking the crab you pick. Head to the restaurant at the back for a personal touch to your crab feast. If crab isn't your thing, dive into a variety of seafood bowls – a real taste of Sapporo, with a pinch of caution for fellow travelers.

It's worth it to visit all the stalls and shops to get the full experience, even if we did end up going back to the very first one we saw for lunch!
