Enjoy a relaxing footbath in a peaceful location. Kagoshima city over there, Sakurajima over there. There are cats nearby, and it feels like time is passing slowly.

We were in Kagoshima for one night and wanted to take pictures of Sakurajima from the harbor. But we spontaneously decided to just drive over to Sakurajima. That was definitely the best decision! Sakurajima is really beautiful. Lots of cats live there and the foot bath became an absolute highlight of our trip. Even though we didn't drive over until late afternoon, we had enough time and were able to end the day relaxing while warming our feet from the hot magma springs. That was really nice. There are even sockets. For anyone looking for stamps (スタンプ), there is one at the Visitor Center and two different ones on the ferries (one on the white one and one on the pink one).

A bunch of people soaking their feet at the beach together is fun, but it still feels weird.

A footbath boasting the longest length in Japan♨️ Many inbound tourists also enjoyed the footbath. While looking at Sakurajima and Kinko Bay. Everyone can enjoy the footbath in their own way.

Sitting on the lava coast, with beautiful views of the sea, sky and Sakurajima volcano, the footbath is comfortable, resting and warming up, which makes people wash away the fatigue of travel...XD

2024.03.25 It’s a rainy day and you can’t see Sakurajima. It’s a good place to soak in the footbath.

I think this is a place where you can casually enjoy a footbath.

23.11.25. saturday. Visit at 10:30 am. Created 26,000 years ago, Connected to the main island of Kyushu by a huge eruption about 100 years ago. It is an active volcano, so much so that 5 tons of rock fell on a nearby hotel due to an eruption 30 years ago. Leaving behind the white steam that spews out from time to time The view of Kagoshima, Sengan-en, and Kirishima across the sea is spectacular. On the other side of Kagoshima, if you drive to Sakurajima, Smoke is clearly visible coming out of the two craters.

It is a free foot bath. First of all, the water is warm, so soaking your feet and looking at the Sakurajima volcano makes you feel at ease. It's free anyway, so it would be nice to enjoy it leisurely. If you can't bring a towel, you can take a tissue and dry it and then wipe it lightly.

Not far from the mainland ferry - easy to walk to. Not as ‘hot’ as other volcanic/onsen natural spas in Japan and definitely ‘unfiltered’ 😀. Great view of Sakurajima volcano cloud cover permitting

My fatigue is completely relieved. You can take a foot bath and see the volcano and car ferry.
