It has been the best melon pan I've had during this Japan trip; we've been trying melon pan at different locations and bakeries and Melon de melon is still my favorite. - We will definitely visit again in the future when we're at Nara. - Highly recommend.

Saw this on tiktok and had rave reviews. Not expensive, and the shop attendant was very nice and heated the bun up. Basically a sugar crusted melon bun, was a bit disappointed as that was pretty much it. A bit average, I feel it was a bit hyped up.

The melon bun is warm and crispy when ordered. The original and chocolate chips favour is nice and not too sweet. Worth a try if you don’t mind having some extra calories.

Conveniently located, you’ll pass by it on the main road on the way to Nara Park. Store owner is very sweet and friendly. The texture and taste of the Plain flavour was the best in our opinion. The rest were good too, but a little sweet. Remember to refrain from walking and eating if you can! :) P.S. melon pan does not actually contain melon for those who are wondering

Delicious. Simple melon pan. Slightly crunchy outer shell with a fluffy texture inside. The shopkeeper is very friendly. We would gladly visit and buy again.

Yummy sweet bread!! Quick bite for a breakfast:)

The plain bun is so soft! It has a slightly harder shell but still soft that it squishes as you bite into it. Not too sweet and it was still warm when we got it.

Delicious melon bread at ¥190 which is their signature dessert. Soft on the inside, smell and taste like butter cookie, crusty and sweet on the outside, would recommend!
