We
stayed
at
Ohanabo
for
a
traditional
ryokan
experience
and
thoroughly
enjoyed
our
time!
We
were
greeted
by
a
very
welcoming
front
desk
that
spoke
English
and
took
the
time
to
walk
us
through
the
ryokan,
how
to
wear
the
yukata
if
we
so
choose,
and
how
to
use
the
public
bath.
The
individual
rooms
also
have
an
instruction
manual
on
how
maneuver
the
ryokan
as
well
as
how
to
use
the
appliances.
It
was
our
first
time
in
the
public
bath,
but
the
facilities
were
very
clean
and
relaxing.
We
did
the
traditional
Japanese
breakfast
in
the
morning,
which
we
scheduled
the
night
before
with
the
front
desk
at
a
time
of
our
choosing,
and
was
some
of
the
most
delicious
food
we
had
in
Japan.
As
an
aside,
I
accidentally
left
my
jacket
at
Ohanabo
the
day
we
left,
and
one
of
the
staff
chased
us
down
as
we
walked
towards
Kyoto
station
to
make
sure
I
didn’t
forget
it,
and
I
am
so
thankful!
Would
recommend
this
place
for
a
unique
experience
and
welcoming
atmosphere.
