Taka
and
Yuka
were
such
great
hosts!
We
came
earlier
than
check-in
time
but
we
could
leave
our
big
luggage.
Once
we
checked
in,
Taka
gave
us
a
tour
of
the
house,
a
beautiful
old
but
renovated
house
in
a
Shotengai.
We
got
some
great
tips
for
the
neighbourhood,
such
as
some
great
restaurants,
supermarket,
etc.
They
even
put
our
luggage
in
our
room.
Our
room
itself
was
on
the
groundfloor
it,
so
cozy
and
surprisingly
roomy.
It's
all
tatami
and
you
sleep
on
a
futon
(really
comfy!)
the
bathroom
was
great
as
well,
very
modern
but
fits
the
room
aesthetic/vibe!
Really
nice
shower
and
toilet!
It
even
has
a
small
private
garden.
The
Guesthouse
is
such
a
recommendation!
Tucked
into
a
calm
Shotengai
but
yet
10/15
min
away
on
foot
from
the
Gion
district
and
more
busy
areas.
Great
base
to
visit
Kiyomizudera,
Gion,
Yasaka
shrine
and
much
more!
