Best meal in Kyoto! The meat is truly one of a kind, as were the other dishes. Don’t think twice about making a resy.

I think this was the best meal of my life... I've eaten at a lot of restaurants in my lifetime but this place is so far superior to any of them!!!! This restaurant specializes in beef...Wagyu Beef. And they cook every morsel to perfection. Dinner started with a chawanmushi (egg custard -not sweet) that was so light and delicious. The sea urchin and scallops in it were so fresh and almost sweet. The beef dishes (4 of the courses out of 8 served) were all so tender and full of flavor. The shabu-shabu course had beef so tender that it didn't need to be chewed - it melted in my mouth! The service is impeccable 👌🏿 Every course was explained and every need we had was attended to. This will be a dinner that I will always cherish. I cannot emphasize enough that you need to eat here!!

This was the best meal we had during our trip to Japan. The chef is talented and the steak we had was tender, flavourful and really delicious. We had the set menu and each course was amazing. Even though we spoke little Japanese, we had a great time talking to the chef who was very welcoming and had a great sense of humour. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Kyoto.

Together with my two friends from Italy - I'm from Switzerland - we visited this outstanding restaurant due to its excellent Google reviews. The upscale steakhouse far exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed three different cuts of meat: Filet Mignon, Sirloin, and Chateaubriand. The skilled chef, Ryosuke Muramatsu, prepared the meat right before our eyes on the stovetop. It was fascinating to watch him masterfully cook the meat to perfection. Rice was served as a side, and we were presented with salads to start. It truly was a unique experience that we will never forget.

Awesome experience, everything is so delicious and the chef is very nice to listen to your requirement, my mom can not eat too rare, he cook the steak so properly.

Best meal in Japan! Chef Ryosuke (Ryo-San) was an extremely personable and amazing host. The dishes were cooked to perfection with attention to detail and detailed explanation! His support staff was equally great and made us feel right at home! Our favorites: Italian Caciovallo + seaweed, Black wagyu steak, blue cheese ice cream monaka!

This evening, I had the pleasure of dining at Teppansosaku Lien in Kyoto with my children, and it was an unforgettable experience. The star of our meal was a teppanyaki-style steak, meticulously prepared by Chef Ryosuke Muramatsu (although my kids really enjoyed the chawanmushi!) The steak was exceptional, with its tenderness, rich flavor, and perfect preparation showcasing the high quality of the beef. Each dish served was a masterpiece, demonstrating the chef's dedication to culinary excellence. Chef Muramatsu's personal involvement in serving us added a warm, hospitable touch that made our meal even more enjoyable. His passion and expertise were evident in every bite. Remarkably, my children, who are typically selective eaters, finished every dish with enthusiasm. This speaks volumes about the restaurant's ability to delight diners of all ages, including picky kids! The ambiance of Teppansosaku Lien complemented the culinary experience beautifully. The restaurant’s cozy and inviting atmosphere made us feel welcome and added to the enjoyment of our meal. 名古屋から伺いました。 紅葉シーズンでしたが、直前にキャンセルが入ったそうで客は私達のみの貸し切りでした。 コースはこんな感じ ○椎茸とホタテの茶碗蒸しいくら乗せ ○フィレ肉のたたき ○カチョカヴァロ ○黒毛和牛サーロインのしゃぶしゃぶ ○季節のサラダ ○黒牛シャトーブリアンのステーキ ○ご飯、牛しぐれ ○ブルーチーズアイス最中 和牛の大会で連覇するほど圧倒的な旨さを誇る『鹿児島黒牛』。指定店制度を採用しており、食べれるお店が決まってる和牛だそうです。 鹿児島黒牛のシャトーブリアンのステーキは圧巻でした。シルクのような舌触りにふわふわな柔らかさ、さっと溶けるほどよいサシが絶妙すぎて、一瞬でなくなってしまいました。肉の旨味もとても強いのに、食べたあと全く重たくない上品なお肉。人生で食べてきた牛肉の中でトップクラスに美味しかったです。 貸し切りということもあってシェフと和気あいあいと話しながら楽しむことができました。至れり尽くせりのサービスで大満足なディナーとなりました。 シャトーブリアンコース(100g)は一人20000円ほど。強気な値段設定かと最初は思いましたが、このお肉なら納得です。 ごちそうさまでした。

Never have we had such delicious steak. We booked on a whim but it turned out to be the best meal of our honeymoon. Chef Ryosuke Muramatsu was charming and it was a delight to talk with him as he skilfully prepared our food. The food is highly refined and the atmosphere is stylish and smart but very friendly and accommodating, even though we don’t speak a word of Japanese.
